I have finally managed to pen down my thoughts on the episode. I couldn't watch the episode until late last night and after seeing it, I was too flabbergasted to write. 😳 I just didn't know what to write and how to describe my feelings...that's why it took so long for me to write something.
The wait was worth it. I can't remember when was the last time I watched something with such rapt attention...unblinking, unmoving and totally glued to my seat. There is only word to describe it. Spectacular. 😃 The first episode totally lived up to the expectations and delivered some more. 👏👏👏
Paro - A young, innocent, carefree child runs in the sandy terrains chasing a butterfly, unaware of the brutalities life. Before she knows it, her life is turned upside down. Her world is shattered by one such cruelty, her parents are snatched away from her in a tragic incident, gunned down by BDF officers.
Rudra - A young boy is abandoned by his mother leaving him with a sense of loss, betrayal and questions. Why did she leave? Didn't she love him at all? His father gives an answer. Never trust a beautiful woman. They do not belong to anyone, neither their parents, husband or their children.
They embark on a journey in a two different buses, have two different destinations but their paths cross in Beerpur.
After their personal tragedies, she hides her tears from the world, returns the love and warmth to those who love her and those who need it. She smiles for others. He is angry and desolate and can barely contain his anger at the world. She sees his, a boy her age, looking lost and lonely. He sees her and she smiles at him. But he doesn't return her smile. She present him her favorite doll in a quick throw.
Her bus leaves and she waves him goodbye. He is bewildered but nevertheless, her sweet gesture touches a remote corner of his heart. He faintly smiles.
A beautiful back story and it laid a perfect foundation for the characters. ⭐️ The child actors were amazing. Young Rudra was brilliant in his intense portrayal. 👏👏👏
15 years later, she runs in the sandy dunes in vivid colors, smiling and carefree as a butterfly. She sees a hurt camel and stops to comfort the injured animal. At a distance, she sees the silhouette of a rider atop a camel and calls out for help. As he climbs down and removes his cloak to reveal his BDF uniform, she is terrified. He strides forward, pours gasoline and encircles her in a ring of blazing fire, leaving her screaming. Is it a dream? Does the horror her of childhood haunt her and keep coming back to her as a nightmares?
Sanaya looked so breathtaking and I swear, she is getting younger by the day. 😳 She doesn't look a day over 18 and she beautifully embodies Paro. Right from her body language to her voice modulation...she is impeccable. She didn't look or sound anything like Gunjan, Khushi or Chhanchhan.
Whatever little I saw of Ashish, I loved it. Great Body language...waiting to see more of him. 😳
Superb acting, breathtaking visuals and soulful background scores. It couldn't have had a better start. 👍🏼
Terrific job by Nautanki films. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
While hitting the chaska meter, I was looking for ten stars. Freakin' freakin' awesome.
