While Khanak is cent percent sure that she loved Shantanu...he is kind of doubtful cause he feel they are just best friends and nothing more...(the dialogue..."I Love You...But I am Not IN Love with you!!!" )...so he leaves the wedding...but when he feels the seperation from his "Best Friend" he realises it is alot more than just friendship...and thaadaaa...he comes back!! :D
