Thanx for all those who read. ...or , liked .and or .commented 😊

reg shantanu revealing his real identity ..it would be after some episodes ..that is going to be

the starting point before the actual love story of shanak starts .,

because of shantanu concealing his real idenity first there is going to be a

misunderstanding between them and later it is going to turn into deep love between

shanak..Now it is just formal friendship between them .

.It has to gradually evolve into love from both sides . ..so it will take a little time .

.now that I have given a hint of what is going to happen..Please bear it with me till that high

drama point of khanak coming to know of Anant aka shantanus real idenity .

now the latest update:

**Nitin -Nitin who is he(shantanu wonders) **

khanak finished narrating her story and closed her eyes in silence..

shantanu was left speechless..and he was pondering all along especially about the love of

khanaks dad .

..Nothing was spoken from both sides .

Meanwhile the waiter came back with the refreshments tray and asked shantanu* sir.. May i

place it*.

shantanu and khanak came back to the real world and shantanu looked at him and said* yeah

please*.

Waiter placed the respective orders to the respective sides..and placed the sauce containers

and water jar along with glasses in the middle .,and asked *anything more*to both .

both khanak and shantanu said *nothing..more*.

Then the waiter left saying that he shall come after some minutes along with the

bill .

Shantanu smiled.at khanak ,.. he wanted to change the topic and so he said to khanak*

**I am damn hungry ..now.. let us eat* .

khanak also gave a dry smile back and... said*yes* ,

both started eating in silence..

Just when khanak had split the cutlet ...her mobile rang..

It was Mrs Alka..

khanak took the call and said * ji buaji*.

.shantanu looked at khanak for a second smiled and continued

eating .

Khanak said to shantanu*excuse me Mr.anant., * and started listening to the call .

Mrs Alka's voice was full of tension.

*****Khanak ..Thank God .. that I got to hear ur voice..tum kahan ho? ..

I just now saw the news about the police security and all that on the lonavla route ..

Though they say it is all formal only and nothing to be frightened of ...as everything was known to

be an hoax ... yet I am so worried ..

because u should have come here... latest atleast a two/three of hours before..

waise u smsed me at 11 a.m ...that u are inside a taxi..but u are not yet home..

I did not want to worry much about ur late coming ..because I know u are an intelligent girl who

knows to manage difficult situations.

But after seeing the news... i am really very much worried .

BTW why did not u call me or uncle and tell that u are late ?...or atleast send a msg..

Ur uncle is also worried .

ankit/ ananya are eagerly awaiting ur arrival since long..

and I think so *Bhaiya *has not seen the news yet ..otherwise he too should have been

worried and would have definitely called us by now .

and i think so definitely ** Nitin** also would not have seen the news

..if he had he would called us so many times by now.

( note:

Mrs Alka knew very well about **Nitin** from childhood as much she knew about Khanak.

since like it was said before taht Mrs shanthi ben and Mr patel are like elder brother younger

sister

..Mrs Alka wa also equally fond of Mrs.Shanthi ben becasue she had helped and still

was helping her brothers family a lot and Mrs alka liked *nitin* a lot ..

she knows *nitin* and *khanak *are brought up together from childhood and so they care for

each other a lot . )

did u call or atleast msg any of them ?

.I first thought of calling u.., and if u did not pick up ...then i thought of calling ur dad or *nitin* to

check where u are..

.If not ur dad... I thought u should have defintiely informed *nitin* atleast **..

Mrs Alka was continously talking and talking..Finally when she ended..khanak replied .

** Buaji ...please calm down ..I know u would be very much worried., if u come to know of this .

But still I did not call or* sms* u or uncle because I know both of u are not doing well...I did not

want to make u both more sick...with blood pressure (due to tension) shooting up .

reg not telling dad.,

If i had told him... He would never listen to anything... but ask me to come back immediately .

.He will send*nitin* with his car to fetch me back at any cost.

He would have apologised to u both saying that.. he could not send me as of now ...and he

would have said to me that he or* nitin* would soon be ther at the palce where I was stranded

to fetch me back to mumbai.

u both also would have definitely agreed ..and i would have gone back to mumbai .

but I know u or uncle would never call me for help ...unless u both thought and felt that it was

most needed ..also ankit/ananya are eagerly awaiting my arrival and I also want to really meet

them..

I did not want to disappoint them .

So i decided to seek genuinine help and reach lonavla ..

similarly if i had told only *nitin*of this trouble he would not listen to a single word and push me

inside his car and take me back home .

But i wanted to help u both since i have holdiays ..Also u both have been of so much moral

support to me and our family always ..I wanted to help u both as a small token of my immense

gratitude that is ...why I did not tell them or any of u..of being stranded .

further I thought I should try my best to manage it and if. i had felt that it was not safe or

really if it did not work... I would have definitley called for help from any of u ..

thankfully by gods grace i got genuine help... so i did not call or msg. any of u.

Sorry I know what i did was wrong... ..chill please... and I will be back in an hour maximum.***

shantanu who was eating .as if he was least interested in the conversation ...heard the

name*Nitin*being mentioned by khanak ..repeatedly.

he was unknowingly uncomfortable with that name being said by her in .,what seemed like an a

loving tone.

he himself never knew as to why he was feeling **uncomfortable **upon hearing*nitin* s name

on hearing that name..he thought to himself ***she said she had no siblings..she never

mentioned this name to me ...*nitin* name sounds like an young man .. who could this guy be?**

but immediately he answered himself saying * wass th big deal!*nitin * must perhaps be some

one from her dads office...one who helps them often ..hence must be well l known to the entire

family * *and continued eating but ws still thinking on that .

Mrs Alka questioned *khanak are u sure the person who is helping u is genuinine?*

khanak smiled looking at shantanu who was all the while thinking as to who *nitin* was.

.(...Actually nothing else out of khanaks conversation went inside his head . except *nitin* )

khanak said* buaji ..please dont worry ...I am coming with an young person by name Mr Anant

desai from mumbai .

..he is also a gujrathi., and he is well placed in a big tv channel ..

Above all his credentials have been checked by police security and approved as true ..

so dont worry ..I will reach home safe with him..Please ask uncle not to worry and tell ananya

ankit that i am reaching soon..in the mean time if dad or **nitin **call u or uncle ...please tell

them that i am nearing lonavla soon ... and nothing to worry ..

and tell them that I shall sms them immediately after reaching and call them at night in detail

once i reach there .

bye buaji ..**she ended the call..

the waiter came with the bill..

khanak had clearly said to shantaanu u that she would be the one to pay the bill.

it was embarrassing for shantanu that khanak said that she was paying the bill .

because he never had the experience of an young girl paying his bill .,be it any sort of bill .

even when he had drinks with natasha ..she never asked him not to pay and or she never came

forward herself to pay the bill ...so it was shantanu paying the bills always .

he even wondered if this *student khanak * would have sufficient money ..But thankfully he

glanced and saw that the bill was very much witnin the ***limits of any student to pay***.

he did not want to make khanak unhappy ...so he agreed and let her pay the bill .

waiter left the place after giving back the bill to khanak after payment .

..and they both left theplace walking side by side .

and since the motel was free at that time ...everyone around was free too

They looked admiringly at the two walking...of whom they thought that ***they were made for

each other and very cute couple** :)

hhhmmm..nice one..so nitin's name is bothering shaan..
looking fwd to know when khanak n shaan will know that both of them r going to the same place..

Lonavla !!!!!

Shantanu and khanak were finally inside the car.

As shantanu started wearing his seat belt ...Khanak asked him casually.

* so Mr.Anant where are u going to stay in Lonavla..,and how many days do u plan to have a

vacation*

Shantanu replied with a gentle smile .

* I got it...guess u have become tired of seeing me around ...want to get me out of sight

(,,after,seeing khanaks changing face expressions )

,,chill.. I am , just joking..I am going to stay at * ss boarding*. A special suite has been booked in

my name already there and I am at lonavla for a week*.

On hearing the name* SS boarding* ...khanak became so excited.

Khanak said in a voice which reflected her excitement.

* wow ..I cant believe this ..Mr Anant ...really this is a big surprise., U know My uncle is the owner

of SS.boarding and I am going to Lonavla precisely to help him.So u are going to be at our

place..U are most welcome and I am so happy..hmm.. ha ha ha to answer u...BTW it also means

I cant get u out of sight.. so... easily for another week..that's is really boring ..haan ..dont get me

wrong... I am just joking ***

she laughed .

By now shantanu had come to know about the real nature of khanak that she was good

hearted ..so he was not hurt by her remarks ..he wanted to tease her .

He was very happy that he got to stay at the place owned by her uncle... he himself did not know

the **exact reason **as to why he was feeling happy that he is going to stay there ,

He had actually forgotten all through the years to have fun...to laugh a lot .., be cheerful and play

around with anyone .

,He had actually outgrown his years and behaved like an elder person.

Everyone presumed he was a serious person.

( Note: To some extent Natasha knew that his personality was not totally serious .

.But she too hardly got a chance to notice his cheeerfulness ...because whenever they had

drinks ..they hardly spoke much.,and the only time shantanu preferred Natashas company

was while having few drinks..otherwise he hardly called her on his own and even if she did

call on him herself inviting him for an outing ... he always made some excuses to avoid

the outings .)

but now ,he was slowly opening up and was starting to behave his age .

Shantanu said**

wow !really this is big surprise for me too .. really !!!I sorry I cant help it because I could get a

room only at ur place..

I am so sorry that u and ur family have to put up with me for one more week.

.I will see to that I bore u people to the maximum of my abilities ..it is a promise***.

khanak laughed like anything hearing this ..shantanu did not fail to notice her mesmerising smile

**in detail**this time..

Soon the car reached Lonavla ...Khanak told him the address of her uncles residence..

shantanu drove the car directly first.,to that place.

It was a pretty ***Duplex villa** amidst green surroundings.,

Shantanu parked the car... Khanak took out her luggage., and invited shantanu inside for a cup of

coffee..

****mr Anant please come in and hav a cup of coffee..My buaji and uncle would definitely want

and will be happy to meet u.. ...Dont feel shy ..please come ***

Shantanu was hesitating for a moment..he was feeling little bit awkward .

But Khanak once again said..

*** SS Boarding place is about one and half kms from here ..

It wont take much time ..It would take hardly some minutes ...haan ..Me

and uncle will make sure that arrangments for ur stay are adequate enough and ur stay here is

most pleasant.. So please come inside without any worries ***.

Shanatnu said* o.k* shrugging of his shoulders ..

They opened the gate.

.The house was in the middle of a beautifully maintained garden full of various varieties of

flowering plants ., fruit trees., etc.,

There was a big korean grass lawn too.,with some cane furntiures .,under a roof top made of

Assamese bamboos.

There came an elder person in perhaps** late fifities or early sixties** running towards them .

( Areh khanak beta... U have finally come... Acha hua ...I will go and inform ur buaji and

uncle immediately ..They have been waiting for u since long and he also smiled at shantanu not

knowing,,,, who he is and what to speak to him*.

Khanak bent forward and touched his feet as a gesture of taking his blessings.

*** Raghu dada .. pranam. kaise hain aap ..Bhabhi teek hain na// aapke donon betiyaan sasural

mein kush hain na...aapke pauti kaisi hain/..woh ab doosri class mein hain na**

aur buaji ne bataya tha i ki.. che (six) mahine(months) pehle aapki doosre beti ko beta hua

hain..congratulations.. ***

*turning to shantanu she said smiling *

*** He is Raghuveer ji ..He is the gardener cum house keeper here ..for long .

..he.lives in the outhouse behind with his family and Uncle treats him like his own(( elder

brother .,He calls him* Raghu dada*

we also call him*dada* like uncle .

(Note

* dada **in Marathi (i think in some other languages like **bengali too) means elder

brother).

shantanu was looking at her personal enquires with great amusement ..Raghu is the gardner

at her uncles place which is far off from mumbai ...yet she knows all things happening in

raghus family and has so many good words to say to him .

..inside his heart .he deeply admired her kind and genuine gesture .

he had lived abroad most of his life till now .

so ..he never had any personal connectivity with any of his vast number of employees ..

Even when he visited India.. .it was always on a formal level .

Raghu took the luggages from her and they entered the Big hall after crossing the visitors

verandah .

Raghu wasfeeling very happy at khanaks enquiries and said to Khanak *Everyone at my home is

fine ..I Pray that ur dad and shanthi bens family

are also fine..

ur buaji and uncle are resting in their room..

Ankit /Ananya have gone to music classes they would be back any moment now ..

i will go and inform ur buaji and uncle ., and khanak beta i will place luggage in the guest

room***.

Shantanu turned around to have a look of how the hall was like..

the hall was beautifully decorated with tradional pices of art ..Few pieces of Modern art were ther

too .

But the hall was more* tradional .*.and a *huge copper bowl* with *water and fresh different

coloured fragnant flowers* floating in .

( it is for attracting positivity) and was placed in front of a big Ganeshji statue ..at one corner of the

hall

..the ganesh statue was beautifully carved ...perhaps made of sandal wood .

The furniture and sofa sets were made of **desi teak wood **..with cotton cushions having hand

made embroidered covers .

,..

.. and not the usual imported ones .

The hall was like that of any Upper middle class family 's house .,not like a popular restataunt

owners house .

thera was place for removing footwear in the verandha..Both shantanu and khanak had already

left their foot wear there .

Shantanu some how liked the serene set up of the house immensely.

He had seen that in the visitors verandah too *eco friendly furnitures* were placed instead of

normal posh sofa sets..

Shantanu thought of Mr chawan in his mind**

**This speaks volume of the sort of businessman that Mr Chavan is..

.he did not seem to be that type of rich business men who were bent upon show

casing their money through Imported furnitures and some expensive pieces of *modern art *..

He cares for the environment too... and seems to be a simple person ***.

so shaan-khanak gelling up well..
n khanak asked where he needs to go n is so happy that he is staying in her uncle's restauarant..n their teasing each other was nice..
loved the way shaan observed khanak's gestures..her uncle's home..so nice..

Shantanu is touched at heart

Just when shantanu was looking around the hall and khanak sat down to take a breath on the

sofa..

Mrs Alka came to the hall viibly happy ...followed by Mr.chavan..

**AHH khanak tum aa gayi...Thakur ji ki Badi krupa hain(note:

gujrathis hailing from certain regions like kutch saurashtra normally address God as thakur ji ) ..

Mrs.alka hugged khanak tightly ...while Mr chavan was smiling..and nodding as though agree ng

to Mrs Alka saying that ..

Khanak bent forward and took blessings from Mr.chavan and buaji ..

Shantanu was seeing all this from a distance..Khanak turned to shantanu and in order to

introduce him to her buaji and uncle went near him and said looking at buaji and uncle..

*buaji /uncle ...this is Mr.Anant ...He is the one who helped me a lot to reach Lonavla safefly and

Uncle ji he is going to stay at our *ss.Boarding for a week. during his stay at Lonavla ..It

seems .he has already booked a suite ..without his help it would have been very difficult for me to

reach here safely * .

Buaji and Mr chavan looked at shantanu with a gentle kind smile and a face full of gratitude..

Mr chavan came a little forward and shook hands with him gently saying* Thank u so much

beta.we were all so worried for khanak...Thanx a lot for helping her..and u are most welcome to

stay at *ss boarding U can treat it as your own home and if there is any shortcoming in the

services u can always ring me i will personally attend to it ..and as for now please have a cup of

coffee or tea as u wish and honour us .by having ur dinner too later in the night ...this is a

request* ..

Shantanu was not so familiar with such personal invitations like inviting for a cup of coffee /dinner

etc., he had all along been aloof ..but Mr chavans invitation was so genuinie that he could not

refuse..

Khanak on her part recommended saying * Mr Anant..

The cook at Buajis house is an excellent Gujrathi traditional dishes cook ..he and Buaji are

actually the brains behind the restaraunts* fushion dishes* and tradional gujrathi dishes ..he

also makes traditional delicious maharastrian dishes ..so please accept the invitation u will feel

good eating both the types of food..dont feel shy u are already our guest ..since u are going to stay

at ss.boarding..so this is all part of Athtithi devo bhava** * and she smiled.

Buaji chided khanak slighlty saying in to her ears * khanak. ...bechara is jagah ke liye naya

hain isliye shayad dinner pur aane se sharma raha hain .. main bolthi hoon **

she said to shantanu lovingly ...

* Anant beta sharmao math..Is ko apna hi ghar samaj lo.. aur hamein apne

hi log samaj lo ...I can understand u must be feeling tired ...dont worry ..u can have coffee go and

place you luggage in your suite take some rest and come back for the dinner here.

.it is now only 6.p.m. If u wish we can have a late dinner at 10 p.m..Today is the first day of ur stay

so uncle and me wants u not to eat at the restaraunt but at our home..this is our request *.

Shantanu was so touched by the repeated requests nd genuinine invitations fof both the couple ..

he had always had formal restarunt dinners outside with natasha etc., except with mom ..Even

with mom too since he did not stay for long in India could not eat together with her most of the

time .

he preferred to get grocery himself from near by super market cook his own food when he was a

student ..

he used to cook sandwitches., and easy cookingdishes..

when he felt bored of his own cooking he used to go to any good Indian Restarunt or Italian

restaarunt and eat food as per the mood of the day

while eating at home he used to switch on his Tv and watch some sports channel or some car

race etc., and have his food ..that way he felt he had some one for company(namely tv channel).

he was happy at their invitation and just said * o.k as u please...but for now I will have a cup of

strong coffee *

khanak buaji and uncle were happy hearing this..

buaji said to khanak..** khanak go and help Trivedi ji to prepare some coffee and

also get some samosas ..and make it fast **

she said to shantanu* Anant beta please relax and if u wish u can refresh ur self..in the rest

room near by* .

Mr chavan was just standing at a near by distance..and said to shantanu..

* haan beta..come I will show the room ...just refresh urself and have a strong coffee ...u will feel

better fter all it has been a long hectic day for u out there*

Shantanu went along with Mr chavan to the rest room ...it was spacious with an attached Toilet

having both indian and western facilties and It was very neatly maintained..

Shantanu washed his hands feet and face... refreshed a litle by siting in the air condition r of

the attached room and then came back to the hall.

mr chavan was waiting there ..buaji had gone inside to over see the preparations..

..Mr chavan warmly smiled at shantanu and showed him the sofa ...Shantanu sat on that..

By that time he noticed that the lamp before **shri ganesh **was lit and a holy ambience was there in the hall..

Mr chavan asked Shantanu formal questions like ***where he is from ?what does he do? to

which Mr shantanu aka Mr.Anant answered the same as s he said to Khanak ..

Mr Chavan briefed him of his journey from a simple student to a successful hotelier and how they

married etc.,

By tht time Khanak and Buaji arrived with the coffee tray and also the plate full of hot samosas and green coriander chutney ..

Buaji asked khanak to prepare coffee for shantanu asking his requirements... Khanak obliged

her..prepared a good coffee and handed it over to shantanu .

and Buaji placed some samoas and chutney and handed it over to shantanu ..he ate a few ..with

great liking .

Then buaji asked *beta ..what would u like to have for dinner*

shantanu aka Anant said...* ji..some light gujrathi dishes... may be doklas and sabzi will

do ..and laughed and said already i have eaten samosas and all that *..

Buaji said **areh beta ..Aise kaise ho saktha hain.. U are too young ..u can eat much.dont worry

about ur weight ...u look fit ..I understand ..u dont want oily stuff ..i will ask the cook to prepare

accordingly and me too will make some special dishes for u which I bet u would not have tasted

before* .

Mr Chavan wantd to make the environment humourous so he said* Anant beta ..best of luck

seems like ..U are the scape goat ..today of her new fushion cooking..I saw that she was writing

down some new recipies today morning ..best wishes.****.and seeing that Mrs Alka was putting

a serious angry face at him said *I was just joking ... areh dont worry..it will be good ..after all she

is a graduate i in catering technology *

All of them laughed..Khanak did not talk much.. she had understood from her talks with shantanu

earlier tht he was not exposed to interactions with outsiders that much.. so she let Shantanu and

buaji/ uncle talk ...while she listened with laughter and smile in between..

After they had finished the coffee session an d when shantanu was about to leave..

Ankit/ Ananya entered with an excited shout **khanak didi...tum aa gayi..it ne der kyon laga di..u

know ..we saw the news and we were so worried **.

khanak also went forward and they all hugged..both of them hugging khanak tighlty from both

sides and kissing her simultaneously on both her cheeks .she too did the same ...forgetting

every one else was there around..

they all shouted *heyyy*.

Buaji turned to shantanu and said * ..Mr Anant these are our children ankit and Ananya*.

and asked ankit /Ananya to say *hello *to Anant uncle.

Khanak asked them to introduce themselves to shanatanu and they cooly came near shantanu .

Ananya said* Hi Anant uncle ..hello I am Ananya ** while ankit looked on with a smile and said*

hello uncle... I am Ankit* .

Mr chavan said in a little stern voice * areh yeh kya. mere introduction wont do ...U know Anant

uncle brought ur khanak did isafely home..so U need to hug and thank him too *.

On hearing that Anant had brought Khanak home safely they both without a second thought went

near shantanu hugged him tightly from both sides and said ...

* Anant uncle ...thanks a lot for bringing khanak didi home safely* .

Shanatnu was really little bit taken a back at this sudden hug and emotional* thank u* by

children..But he clearly understood the strong affection that existed between khanak and the two

children .

And he smiled and said

*** Hi Glad to meet u ..As u know I am Anant .u are most welcome for ur thank u..*

he asked them a few formal questions like *in which class they studied and school etc * .

they answered happily and after few minutes Shantanu thought it is time to leave..he told Mr

chavan that he needed to leave..

Mr chavan called on the Boarding house manager and asked him to personally look into the

arrangements of the suite booked in the name of Mr anant desai.he also gave his personal card

to shantanu asking to call him if he needed anything .

He reminded shantanu to come for the dinner after some hours ..

shantanu aka Anant smiled and said* yes I do remember it*

raghu dada smiled at shantanu when he was leaving. The entire chavan family and khanak

smiled warmly at him and came upto the gate and bid him *bye*..

shantanu was deeply touched by their real affection.
