He seems really tired for some reason
K:Are you sleepy? (fondling his hair)
S: A lil (fighting to stay awake)
K: Have you been working thru the nite every day (apalled)
S: Kinda (sheepish)
Lifts his head to look down at her, his eyes are red and the lashes droopy
K: You sleep barely 4 hours a nite!!!
S: When we hand over Casa I double that
K:I am not going to hold my breath (angry)
S: Its a huge responsibility Khanak
K: I am not 10! I know that!
S: How angry are you? (smiles)
Tries to push him off her
He lays on her chest, shuts his eyes
S: I just need a nap
K: Go to your bed!
S: I am on it!
His breathing steadies... she shuts her eyes and savors the feeling of being together, inter twined.
Relaxed, just like old times.
"Maybe we will never address what went wrong, we will pretend like nothing happened... I will live this charade of being loved and cared for, forget I pay rent, I am supposed to be sorting things out... I will act like we dont have any bitter history" she shut her eyes and drifted off into a blissful nap...

He turns in sleep, she gently peels herself off him and sits up...
Wears the remainder of her clothing... the door to the room is open!
Nobody came asking any pesky questions
She was hungry, her bhindi beckoned her
She got off the bed, dragged her wrap around skirt from underneath him and wrapped it around tied it at the side...
She calls Ritu, they chat for an hour, she tells her about Shaan's return, and what he thot of her sketching hobby
Ritu teased her to her heart's content
Bai calls, to tell her some one she went to school with visited in the afternoon, she had TWO KIDS.
Khanak wants to tell her the truth " I wont be having any if I stay with him" OR " If I have to leave his house and go away, then grand kids will remain a distant dream for you"
Sonali has lost her mobile, she calls asking if she can have another one, she reassures her she will get one only if her Sem results are good. Sonali is not covinced, she wants one NOW. She promises to "do something"
She spends some time mentally reconciling her finances, is reminded of the rent she pays to hubby
Wonders whats going thru his mind...
" He really does not need my money" "Why is he charging me rent?"
"Is he here becoz he missed me?" "Does he have any idea how much I miss him?" "Shud I tell him?" NO!" "He might laugh" "What if he thinks its my ploy to get back together?" "Ease my financial burden?"

Went to the kitchen, Jamuna appeared from teh annexe, when she heard sounds...
Smiled and served food for K, she took it to the living room, sat down to watch TV
Stood up, shut her bedroom door, opened it, walke dover to the couch, kneeled down, peeked at him, pulled a sheet off her bed, draped him. He did not stir once...
Sat down on the rug by his head, leaned over and inhaled the scent of his hair...
"You need a hair cut,"
"And you need a shave"
"Youve bruised me"
" I am going to mess up all your constellation maps if you go to Mumbai again"😳😳
she smiles, a slow secret smile
Gets up and walks back to the living room
He smiles, turns over tp the backrest side and snuggles, as he dozes off
