Shaan laughed shaking his head when he saw Khanak's face light up with a huge smile as soon as they entered 'The Magic Kingdom.' She did several little hops, skips and jumps and clapped her hands together looking around trying to absorb the mystical fairytale world around her.
They were standing on Main Street which with its turn of the century architecture and vintage vehicles transported them to a bygone era. There were people dressed in 19th century style in long skirts and men looked dapper in top hats. Horse buggies and trams were trudging up and down the streets. It was like stepping back in time, they were in a magical world of make believe.
I never knew that there was a five year old hidden somewhere in that hauntingly alluring body of yours!

I didn't know that coming to this place will make you regress into a toddler! Even the princesses here are fully clothed! He said in a dejected voice. I guess I just have to make do with my wife's long legs for now, he thought his eyes zeroing in upon them as he hurried behind her. Wait for me!!

So started the rest of the day as they catered to every whim of the little princess! She insisted on going on every ride with either Shaan or Khanak or both. She 'flew' on Dumbo with Shaan, rode the circus train with Khanak, sailed the happiest cruise in the world which showcased singing and dancing dolls from all over the world and galloped up and down on the back of a beautiful horse in King Arthur's carousel.
Wow! You have tremendous patience both of you! I am sure your child will be the luckiest in the world! Any happy news yet little sis? Akshay asked grinning as they all sat expectantly in a large Tea cup waiting for the 'Mad Tea Party' to start.

Shaan reached for Khanak's hand and gently stroked it while staring intently into her eyes, which made she felt her knees quiver as she tried her best to appear composed in front of Megha who was watching her curiously.

Thanks but no thanks Akki! The more I think about it, the surer I get. I cannot come back, at least not now. My philosophy is completely different from Dad's and I won't be happy working for him and that won't do. I may be able to pick up some contracts but my main task is to complete Khanak's charity hospital and it has become my dream project.
