Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!! Yaar Shaan I knew that you make awesome food, but Khanak, seriously that was so good! Main toh ungliyaan chaat-te reh gayi! Arjun exclaimed.
*Khanak laughed* Aww thanks Arjun, that's sweet of you!
You guys should join a cooking show, as partners! Shashank joked.
*Shaan smiled* Alright, we cooked for you guys, but, now you guys need to do the dishes, agreed?
Uhh, yaar, Shaan, mujhe toh bahut kaam hai, lekin Shashank, Shashank toh free hai na? Arjun said slapping Shashank on the back.
What?! Yeh saab main nahi kar sakta, uhh main jaa raha hoon, bye! Shashank said running upstairs, Arjun following him.
*Khanak laughed, while Preeti rolled her eyes* It's okay Shaan, I'll do the dishes, and the girls will help, right? Khanak asked.

After washing all of the dishes, Khanak headed up to her room, smiling at the conversations the girls shared. Being an only child, these girls were her life, her family. Without their support, she couldn't imagine what her life would've been. Before she met Leher, Preeti and Arohi, Khanak wasn't as outgoing as she is now. She was always lost between her father's business deals, and her mother's charity functions. Everything was a business deal in her family. She often wondered if she herself, was a deal, a compromise. After washing up, and changing in her PJ's, Khanak snuggled into bed, and opened the drawer on her bed side, taking out her engagement ring Ajay gave her. Arohi had once asked her why she didn't wear it, like normal engaged people. Khanak had replied that she didn't want to wear it, because Ajay wasn't there, and she didn't want it to get ruined. Arohi had rolled her eyes and left, causing Khanak to realize why she actually didn't wear it. Now looking at it, she realized that the ring just didn't fit in her life, it was her engagement ring, and it held no importance to her, then why did she keep it, why?

Shaan opened his wallet and looked at the picture Khanak had given him. He laughed thinking how stupid both of them looked. He hadn't laughed this openly in so long, and now he couldn't stop laughing. Khanak, was one good thing he found after a long time, she made him happy, she made him forget about everything else, besides his happiness.
What are you looking at? Abeer asked settling himself on his bed.
*Shaan showed him the picture* At the mall, we both got lost, so Khanak decided to take pictures *he laughed* she's really something you know? Shaan said.
*Abeer faced Shaan and smiled* You guys are starting to become good friends, na? he asked.
*Shaan looked down and smiled* Yeah, I guess we are.
Abeer returned the picture to Shaan, Shaan looked at it once more before putting it back in his wallet. He turned off his light, adjusted his pillow, and went to sleep, not noticing Abeer staring at him.
Abeer smiled, realizing that Shaan, was coming alive again. He talked more, he laughed more, he even sang! Was Khanak the reason why he's like this? Can Shaan love someone again? He didn't know what exactly was going on in Shaan's life, all he knew was that Shaan was happy, and he would do whatever it takes to keep him like this.

The next morning was hectic, everyone was running around trying to get things done. Abeer's parent had invited all of them for dinner, and many people had come over to the house to finalize the wedding card, and other necessities. Shaan and Khanak kept bumping into each other, laughing every time they did. Arjun was complaining that every car was taken so he couldn't go to the gym ("yaar meri body kyun suffer kar raha hai!"), while Preeti ignored Shashank every time they saw each other.
Yaar, it's been 3 weeks since I had a decent workout! I need to go to the gym! Arjun complained.
*Shashank smirked* Yeah right, you just want to go hit on the instructor that was there the other day. "Main 6 foot ka hoon, aur Punjab main meri business bahut successful ja raha hain!" Shashank said mimicking what Arjun had said to the instructor the other day.
*Arjun threw a pillow at Shashank, and both of them started to jump on each other* Oh SHUT UP, both of you! Abeer yelled.
Arjun, you really are an idiot, if you actually want to work out then go use the gym downstairs! And Shashnak tang maat karna yaar! Abeer said.
Fine! Main neeche ja raha hoon! Arjun said.
Toh jaa na, ek body hi toh hain tere paas! Shashank said running away from an angry Arjun.

After chasing Shashank outside, Arjun had finally given up, and went down to the gym. When he walked in he found someone already in there.

*Arohi turned around* TUM! they both yelled at once.
