Straightening from the door frame and walking inside

His wife looks at him and is greeted with a "Hey"

She has a "Gee! You did make it to dinner" joyous look on her face.

He saunters to where the two are,wearing grey shorts with black stripes on and a black Puma tee with the motif up front.

He stands by Khanak, and peeks into the pots and pans

He chuckles

His left hand slowly reaches behind her back and tugs at one end of the apron's bow string. It comes loose.

Khanak: Tchh! (dropping the stirrer with a clutter, and reaching for her back)

Ritu is making a boogey man with carrot shavings she doesn't notice.

Shaan: Did you two have a good day?

Ritu: SHE obviously did! (sulking)

Shaan looks at his wife in shock "Kyon?"

Ritu: (sweet smile) Ghar se kaam kiya, 2 baje tak uthi nahi, subah usko)

Khanak drops a plate on the floor to stop her friend from going any further

Shaan: did dPradip pick u up on time? Hes always confused with those bylanes.

Ritu: well, if I can have him for a year I could train him (innocent)

His hand is back on his wife's waist, slow color crawls up her face, she looks up at him as if pleading "Please stop!"

It inches upward from her waist, the thumb a few cms ahead of its siblings'..She binds the hand by pressing her left arm close to her body. He lets it stay in that clinch'''..

Khanak goes back to make sure the subzi is not burnt at the bottom, using only her right. The pan bobs a little.

Ritu: How was your day?

Shaan: Full! Looks like there wont be any rains the next couple days.

Ritu laughs out loud "Do you guys employ a weather guy?" (shocked)

Shaan: We do! (matter of fact)

Ritu: (squealing) I was only joking!

Khanak takes a step sideways, moving away from him, he moves in tandem, she doenst loosen her arm, his hand is still bound, under the folds of the saree and apron.

Shaan: Third world construction is a whole different ball game🤢.

Something about that annoys Khanak, she responds with " Especially if you are building for first world citizens😡"

He loves seeing her hot and bothered, oh wait! He loves seeing her, period! After work, dressed in a saree, cooking, holding his hand captive on her rib.

Shaan: I cant deny that!

Ritu and shaan talk about a Hafeez, Ajemra project from 3 years ago, while Khanak does her own thing, he can if he wants to yank his hand free, he lets it be...

His wife is in her shell, doing what she loves... surrounded by one of her most fave person in the world, Ritu, and her husband who is enjoying tormenting her...

Her arm is losing control of his hand, she looks up at him to warn him not to start again. He looks at her blandly

Ritu: They are all filling out the various forms and pasting 1500 passport pictures on it.

He chuckles, shakes his head "That's all?"

His hand starts to flirt with her buttons in front, since Ritu is facing them, all she can see is his arm around her waist... or even that from the angle.

Khanak is horrified she shakes her head with a "No! don't go!"

Ritu: Abhi kitchen mein nahi you nut, at home

Khanak colors profusely "Ummm"

Shaan: Another day may be? 😉😆(softly)

Khanak is mad "You can stay for ever! Ritu" (commanding)

Ritu does a mock sigh of relief looking at her friend and makes a face at Shaan

She drops a spoon exactly at the time he releases the bottom hook...

Ritu: I left my phone up in the room... Ughhh😳😳

Leaps from the counter and runs

Khanak stands up facing him, furious as he says "You wanted me home for dinner didn't you?!" 😆😆(laughing under his breath)
