I watched a Tamil movie once, not sure of the name, the guy was Arya, his wife's sister actually pursues him like hell. She actually moves in with her Di and starts stalking her Jeej. It was a "dark" love story of sort. It has one beautiful song though...

Maybe Priya, Anu or someone can recall the name.

Reel often draws inspiration from real in my opinion

I had a friend years ago in college who actually married a guy that had come to "see" her cousin. He lived in Talahassee Florida, and when he went home on vacation he saw, a gal, and it did not work out for some reason (cant remember, I have a million strains of cobweb in my brain😆) happened to "see" her cousin as they say in India, and tied the knot.

The gal he married was with me in college. She abandoned 3rd year and took off for Florida

The cousin and her Mom were extremely upset in all the wedding pictures.
