An episode with mixed feelings, really...
Dahi Handi...an interesting premise for the 'battleground' to unfold! The frontier, though could have been handled better! 😊
The moments that stood out for me...
Liked the Adi 'tit for tat' interpretation...innovative thinking, that! 👍🏼
A definite thumbs-up for Shaan's "interesting" connotation to express his interest in the Dahi Handi contest 😆...a superb touch for Shaan's budhthalness, that!! 👏
When Adi and Shaan part ways just before the actual contest...Shaan's steely resolve...brought to the fore only through his undeterred gaze...KT underplayed that bang on!! 👏
As the guys come out 'all guns blazing', loved the contrast on display between Shaan and Adi vis-a-vis their preparatory activities...
Shaan actually focussing on the task at hand, and Adi overconfident, busy playing to the galleries...
In a sense, outlined, the journey Shaan has traversed thus far...moved on to the next level; while Adi is where Shaan was not so long ago!
CVs, brilliant touch, that!! ⭐️
Khanak's wonderful interpaly of exuberance and contentment, when Shaan reaches the top...those tears in Khanak's eyes were hard to miss! 👍🏼
Yashu brought out the emotions spot on! 👏
The final 'boost' from Khanak to Shaan...only the hint of a smile illuminating the purposeful Shaan...KT captured the moment just right! 👏
Scope for improvement areas...
The initial build up to the 'face off' was quite good actually! Shaan pretty much stole the thunder!!
But the final execution of the same left a lot to be desired...seemed contrived and rushed, in a sense...
The "Khanak" factor could have been conveyed by a simple glance...attention instead, could have been payed to Shaan being unsure at first...the oscillation between 'profit' and 'loss', given his fear of heights (which was a revelation in the first place 😆; thought Khanak was altophobic!)...and finally, conquering his demons...Khanak being the driving force for the same!!
The Sunil Akshay convo was good, yet one got the feeling that it could have been better!
Sunil's concern on hearing Shaan's dahi handi participation seemed delayed to me...should have come the very instant, Akshay mentioned it! 😊
In conclusion, a good episode that could have brought out much more...
An epi that yet again highlighted the importance of good direction...
Some moments standing out due to not just good emoting, but good stuff at the helm too...
Others...with the direction accompanied by a better 'sense of direction' could have elevated the histrionics on display too! 😊
