I know for a fact that if there was no Kekta we would not have this Forum today, whether people think its an exaggeration or not she is like the Dada Saheb Phalke of Indian TV

40-50 years from now she will be honored for it

I can guarantee you

I am not sure if she has recvd the Padmas yet, but she will soon

If Amitabh and Akshay can receive it so can she.

She is a savvy business woman, a person that "thinks ahead" and a person who understands her viewers psyche

Not many do that on Cinema leave alone TV

She was the "first mover" as they say in Marketing, to "see and opportunity" and exploit it!

We can hate her all we want and say derogatory things about her

But she made Indian TV lively

It may not be "watchable" for a fringe minority but for the masses and many Masters level educated people like you and I Saaz she brought Bollywood home.

We would still be stuck with Krishi Darshan and Communist Russia produced game shows if it were not for Kekta!

I for one cannot watch "meaningful art cinema or TV shows" after a 12 hour gruelling work schedule!😭😭

Much as I love Kekta and her shows ( I do, the first six months of a kekta show are like no other)
