I was baffled by your W&W atitude on CC.

If we dont tell them what we dont like about the show,be it the content, the acting or the appearnace.

Then we have no body to blame if the show gets flushed out into the -----.

The show as of today is itching for some one to press the flush handle.

We can fool ourselves all we want that its Oscar or Emmy worthy, or "pure entertainment". Its not worthy of being watched.

CC being a place mainly intended for "critiquing" the show

The issue here is life after ILU.. your story I have followed so far and have understood Shaan as having a depth.. a character. Yes he is certainly different than the original.. Same goes for Khanak. But they are after all the same humans whose heart usually rules.. they fell the same feelings and qualities of a normal red blooded human being.. love, hate, jealousy, frienship, intellect... and much more.. You have portrayed all these very well... in your FF... Applaud you for that. And as I again say in my perspective, at this point if he says ILU to Khanak, it will definitely make her happy!! She will even marry him, but here again will come her sanity to her rescue.. her inner doubts that will start to rule her rationale... she will ask questions to her belief.. he did say ILU.. but does he really mean it or is it another one of his nuances which will get her to marry him and then he will tire of her... or something on those lines... It could be anything that is your prerogative. Jess With regards to the above.. thats exactly why i dont want my leads to declare their Love.
Once they know the other person loves them then there is no problem thats insurmountable.

"oh he loves me, this is just a minor misunderstanding"

"Oh she loves me, she told me so, this is just a trivial argument"

"Oh he loves me, so its OK if he hurt me, coz at the end of teh day he loves me"

"Oh she loves me so its OK if we constantly disagree"

Love will become the cure all or panacea for everything

The insecurity flies out the window.

All arguments and friction seem fake and manufactured.

They will fight, and the end of the day he will say "You know I love you deeply"

She will respond "Oh I love you too"

They will go on with their life

Until you are uncertain about the other person's motive you will constantly strive harder to please, you will yearn for physical closeness and jump to conclusions about emotional feelings.

I personally dont find stories appealing after the ILU phase

Especially when the couple is as good looking as these two

The joy is in the friction and crackle

In real life I see no value of the three words

Ive agreed to put it in my FF to please darling friends like Souma and you and all others that have specially requested it.

I belong to Saaz's camp

The unsaid is way more powerful that mouthing it randomly without meaning it

Ahaa... well then I shall wait for the ILU.. as it is important.

And she need not reply back I Love you too... That will be stupid!!! If he says ILU then she should say.. "I need more time!!" That will surely wipe the chavinistic grin off his face!!!

There more to chew on for him and she can have some of her sanity saved!!

Anyways.. it is an endless argument of perspectives.. so I rest my case here...

And shall W&W and enjoy...

For me in RBO the period when they fall in love was the most glorious ever.

No channel or production can ever surpass that.

No other lead pair can emote it that good either

I can argue with any one on that.

It has forever singed my brain

Since I cannot rewrite a classic.

I am trying to tell the story differently

The whole "falling in love" "being attracted unconsciously" are the most magical things in my opinion

I am a hopeless romantic!

I will essay it for as long as I can

Before real life practicalities take over.

I have enough real life around me

I love this virtual reality of this gorgeous couple.

P.S. on the Saas Bahu sagas, I have watched plenty. Saaz and I were talking last nite, and she mentioned someone telling her "Desi TV shows are for maids".

As insulting as that sounds, it does not bother me too much

I can proudly say I belong to that category despite not being a maid.

I responded to her by saying "I would rather be a Desi soap TV watching intellectual than a non-TV watching retard"

Can I give u a big hug Aditee?? I really want to!! U just voiced my opinions & words, u simply echoed my feelings!! Seriously I didn't know we think so much alike!!

All I can say is 'Ditto' like ur Shaan did to everything u feel or said about the show, about ur FF, about innumerable ILU which loses the real impact & how things get taken for granted on basis of ILU & how the strife continues when the feelings r still shrouded in mystery, in unknown wondering state, how the other tries hard to please when ILU is not declared!! I can go on & on but loved to see there is another person who share my views & outlook!

Lovely part !

This guy is sooo intense...

Loved the little touch of him pushing her hair out from behind her ear...LOL...Sooo much possessiveness...He feels he already owns her and can do as he pleases...LOL...So what if she feels otherwise..

She is sooo sure he will leave her...! Shez soo confused about whether she wants the wedding or not...One moment she is talking about ring fitting and the other second she gets a shock on realizing that they will get married...LOL !

HeyJess...thanks so much for your perspective...I think we are all essentially saying the same thing...that the constant I love yous are frankly unecessary, the difference is while you think it is important..I think it is not the most important thing...and that actions often speak louder than words..and yes, while words are important for communicating, actions top my list in strengthening...to me it seems like 'i love you' is used more to 'get out' of situations than towards 'understanding or caring' for your partner...long lasting relationships are those where all of our actions towards each other finally culminate into that I love you..and then even the term I love you falls short of what we feel for each other...

and hello, not to be dissing saas bahu serials...those are all about love too...haan haan...romance nahin tho kya...it is finally about love...there are no I love yous, but it is all about acceptance, compromises, sacrifices, appreciation, giving in, standing up, fighting, finding your space..all of which culminates into love...wanting it for keeps...

someone once asked me 'do you believe in love at first sight'?? (i think MOTW pe)...and I said how can you not...??...when you see a chlld smile, is it not love at first sight, when Mozart touched his piano at age 3, it was love at first sight..love encompasses so much ..that anything that moves you to want it again is love..it is so much more than that "i love you'...

Okay dearie...I want to type a lot more...but need to pick up my parents and I am running late...especially wanted to write about the show ...but shall be back on that...

Haila...Ad forgot to write how much I loved the update...fabulous!!! @Souma...chal ek "no olives on pizza" ka club banate hai... @Vandoo...I totally relate to this Khanak re who constantly thinks it is not going to last...I totally get it ,...it is like she thinks "if in my head I tell myself, this is going to get over.. it will save me a lot of heartache when it finally does get over".. now it is for Shaan to make her enjoy this journey so much that she does not want it over...
