Hello Ms. Aditee, wow that was some googly now! I didn't check who wrote that mesg as Ms. Ghosh & then checked to see its u! 😃 Well I am honored to comprehend what u intended to convey. U see whatever intrigues & interests me I tend to delve deep & try to understand A-Z about the characters & nature be its a book, a movie, a TV show or a story & u can imagine where ur excellent story stands! 😃 It has intrigued me to no end & obviously I did the needful.

Now back to ur fabulous story, the main point of attraction is, its as real as it can get! There r no flowers, no beats playing as back ground music, no curtains blowing but cut throat reality with only beat that I could hear was coming right from their hearts. 😃 It gets easy to relate to them more.

They don't talk about Nirav much, silent all the way to his home, she though thinks its unwise to go to his house but still goes because in heart of her heart she wanted to, she too is effected by him from top to bottom though she won't admit it. I liked the disparity portrayed between her & his family & home through her eyes, a stark contrast between him & her. At his home their discussion is abrupt, totally unrelated to 'why, when, what, how' about filmy 'I Love U' but its from another angle as 'did u inform him this....that...it'! And the funny thing is if she wanted to she would have just given him very reasonable answers saying she had no other intentions of the kind as to why she went to his cabin or asked about him to Paula or called him or looked at some photos in his cabin or simply why she mocks him about his absence from work but she didn't knowing she is more than interested in him & he too totally understood her inside out! Even if she did he would have seen through her facade, that way he is very observant! He acts casual but he notices every thing about her very minutely even not looking while simply punching on his phone. 😃

And the kiss was heavenly, those 10 seconds left a 10 minute elation on me! 😆 I so wanted to ask u where was his hands, in his pockets & u gave the answer in the next part which I read now. 😆 And look at her, after the kiss she didn't leave immediately, she chatted, ate & then left with him, she already is hooked, booked & cooked by him. 😃 And though u wrote mostly from Khanak's viewpoint I could totally see how much affected he was by her though he won't show it. He is totally smitten by her & yet won't tell her directly & instead will talk to her in a round about manner about 'what's his name' & what she should tell him! Hilarious! 😆 And such pointless lovely squabble these 2 do, sometimes makes no sense but yet they do! Or else they won't know what to say, at least through their banters they talk to each other & sometimes conveys more than they ever intends to!

The lunch date was cute too with Paula trying to read between them. I am sure she will be the 1st one to realise something is going on between them. And I am sure though their hearts beat in their mouth seeing each other they will act most nonchalantly when they will meet in the office on Monday. I for one love this stage till the 'I love u's' & so u can continue as long as u want! Hope u r not intending to end it soon, pls don't! I love the high undercurrent vibes between them & would love to read more. So continue pls at ur leisure time.

This is what fairy tales are made of!

Two people who are so different yet so similar.

They cannot help being pulled towards each other despite all they think about each other. The prejudices are there but their attraction has overridden it all. It seems like fate and destiny is convinced that they have to end up together or else...

Love:

How there has been no confession or verbal acknowledgement yet they both KNOW

How they are so possessive of each other without having the right to be

How she takes his name finally-ah what an epic moment!

How they can make each other do anything

Their fights and arguments and how matter of fact they are

Their double standards when it comes to each other

Their first hand hold

How unnatural yet natural their relationship is

The many subtle ways they let their attraction show while their tongues don't announce it-yet

They are the same yet they have changed for each other

Can't wait for the next part!

Now I am glad I let this all pile up-it was like reading a novel this way! Want to keep on reading! Please update soon *hugs*

PART 19C

3 PM Onwards Sunday

Paula: You should ride with me if you don't mind, we will make Shaan the chauffer we both can sit in the back and giggle? (Grins)

Khanak: Ummm…. I think you should just take the ride and ago…….

Paula: C'mon lets do it

Paula: Shaan, you don't mind do you sweetie?

Shaan: (looking at Khanak) I don't think so

They board the car, Shaan drives them to Ghatkopar first. Paula and her talk-laugh-talk and laugh some more about life and men. She gets off outside her building, kisses Shaan goodbye

Paula: Now you two need to go have some fun (order)

Shaan: That's exactly what I had in mind (sarcastic)

Khanak is seated in front now, she waves and Shaan pulls out.

He speeds, and continues to stare at the road.

Khanak: Ritu says Dhruv is expected to visit next week (olive branch). Her and I were supposed to catch a movie in the evening, but she is out of town for work.

Shaan does not respond

Khanak: I got an invite to the wedding also. Its funny….. I don't even know Trishna

He still wont say anything

Its her turn to sulk she looks away

He pulls into her complex. Gets out, slams the door and walks up to the elevator.

Khanak: I will be fine. Thanks for the ride……… and for lunch BTW

He just looks at her coldly.

They ride the elevator silently.

She unlocks her door

He walks in slams it shut, places his hands by her head on either side

Khanak: Shantanu! (looks at him afraid……) (trembling)

Shaan: You cannot get married to that guy! (order)

Khanak's face pales, in fear……..

Khanak: I am not sure.............(confused)I don't think its any of your business (blistering)

Shaan: It is...............MINE.....................we proved it last nite Mrs. Vaishnav!

Something about use of that title makes her squirm

Khanak: How dare you!

Shaan: You cannot be in love with your dead husband and marry another man can you?

Khanak: "I will not reject him in order to become your next "favorite toy" either (does a quote unquote in the air). We have NOTHING in common!"

He bends down leans his forehead on hers "Khanak Mistry, I am immensely attracted to you. I have no idea what I am going to do about it, but this is not the end of "us"" (husky)😳

They are motionless..........................breathing heavily.................. until she pushes him away with both hands. He looks at her intensely before letting himself out, slamming the door shut
