Very good point! Am sure we hav seen Anand's role in 100s of films! Sometimes good acting can elevate an ordinary character... with some help in terms of good direction.

Aditee,Shantanu's character lost its originality when he was shown as s-- obsessed husband just cos he thought that Sunny was just a look alike so no threat and that was so sad esp coming at the heels of Tere Zikr.Wanted to see angst,pain,anger but what we got was high fever and some delirious lines lol.Even this time I am feeling they are making him too sweet which is so not him.May be all he is going to do is sweet-talk this time!I hope he retains some of his character back

Yet to watch the epi fully,but Shantanu hugging the board was just so endearing.Last time he didn't want to be here,this time he couldn't wait to step inside.

YM and HT seemed to be hilarious from what I have read.

I mean where is that self opinionated arrogant boor?

I would have enjoyed a "Aise kaise chali gayi yaar? Last time to aadhe raaste gayi, ab is baar, wahan tak pahunch gayi? Iske Dhulwadi fixation ka kuch karna padega."

I agree on the ILU phase tho

The red vest and those monkey like jumps have forever singed my brain😡

You are right. All he seemed to be thinking about in Mumbai was how to make love at the next opportunity. In the vanity van, at the gate, on the couch.....

His physical needs overtaking his intellect most of the times, post SR

Its natural to a certain extent, but he was evolving into a guy who cant seem to think of anything else

Her protest at the gate was feeble to say the most.......

Didnt gel well at all with their characters I have in my mind

I hope she gives him tons of crap

Shuts the door on his face and let him become hopping mad!

It wont make sense for her to deal with it any other way

What a beautiful start to the "Dhulwadi" week.......😃

Yashu looking resplendent in the tissue saree with that beautifully tailored blouse.....and her luscious hair in all its crowning glory!!!👍🏼 Thanks, Krishna for pointing out the presence of her natural hair, Dear....

Loved the whole "Swades" feel to the scene...what better combination than one of my all-time favourite movies with my all-time favourite serial......😍 The "Mummy" kid was sooooooooo reminiscent of Chikoo in Swades......

Truly had the "RBO revival" feel throughout the epi......what a wonderfully positive feeling to experience after the whole let-down feel post the Shaan vis-a-vis Rahul fiasco last week!!!

A lot of thought has definitely gone into Anand's characterisation....and Hiten is truly bringing "anand hi anand" not just into our adorable burthals' lives, but into our lives too....Such a wonderfully etched and executed cameo this!!!!👏👏👏

Loved the whole natural ambience created.....right from Ganpati bappa's wahan to the 'baingan ki sabji aur bajre ki rotli" seeped in the Dhulwadi atmosphere.😃.......A special mention for the whole "Mummy" act.....innocence personified, without trying too hard......

Soul-stirring conversation between Khanak and Anand.....loved the "Khanak" touch with 'Aasha number 6 to mera pati poora kar dega"....so typically Khanak......a woman with great self-pride but her love for Shaan completely unconditional.....👏

KT....totally in character.....the joy....disbelief on finally reaching Dhulwadi.....effortless!!! The whole "action-reaction" with "Dhulwadi"....brilliantly conceptualised and executed, too!!!

Yashu.....camaraderie with Hiten......simple, smooth, and uncomplicated.....Absolutely loved the whole "smile" back and forth.....completely golden RBO!!!!⭐️

Hiten.....perfect confidante material......if today's epi and the pre-cap is anything to go by.......

Shaan definitely has a tough time ahead.....if Khanak and her substance wasn't enough, she now has a friend, philosopher, and guide to her rescue....Finally an actor to match KT-Yashu's calibre!!!!👏

CVs, would like to take this oppurtunity to make an earnest heart-felt request to live upto the benchmark set today, from this point on....thereby saving us an endless see-saw ride!!!

Finally, seems like RBO we all feel in love with is regaining its groove.....request you to let this flavor linger, even after the lights dim on Dhulwadi......

P.S. Would like to dedicate this post to my Dear friend Saaz......the lines today Matey, were totally golden RBO!!! *muaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh* and missing you lots.....................

Technically, if Hiten was just hired for TEN appearances, havent 3 or 4 happened already?

So his cameo will end in another 6?

That would be mighty disappointing for me!

I am not quite ready to go back to Mumbai and watch the trials and turbulations of the couple who are:

Hellos Everyone ...

HT/YM are so natural !!!!!! Their expressions and acting during bonding scene were so so convincing !!!!!

Ok posting the below here again from the DT .... Dont know if CC is the rite place....But thought of sharing !!!!

OK i found something Interesting ....

Khanak's blouse has a DOUBLE DHORI - Symbolic of DOUBLE ROMANCE in DHULWADI ???

Also Shaan says - Khanak iss baar tumhari Vidayeee puri tareekese hogi !!!!!!! - WEDDING in DHULWADI ????

@Aditee... I don't think it means anything.. 😆 I wouldn't analyze that. Ok.. so i haven't watched the epi yet.. so maybe premature talking but i don't think the CV"s are that brilliant.. else they would have figured out RS track don't work!
