One thing I will always LOVE about MY addiction to this show is

The LEAD GUY has SO MUCH to do!!!!

Most other shows Ive watched the lead guys have basically been a prop!

He is the sounding board for the gal!

THATS it!

I am happy to see a show where a story is being told from a man's perspective

during shock on, the real khanak went for a toss and during sunny track, the real shaan went into a coma. they are both back now. khanak has been since the show moved back to dhulwadi and shaan since the last two episodes.

about the GHAR dialogue. she asked him to return to her dhulwadi home, not their mumbai home coz' before she said that ghar chalein, mein aapko khana khilaati hoon. of'course she didn't mean the K mansion! 😆 you misunderstood it.

i agree but not because i think the story is being told from a man's perspective but because the story is being told from a couple's perspective. that's why RBO is so unique.

try to make it either only about shaan or only about khanak and i can guarantee it won't work, shock on and sunny track are shining examples of this fact.

There is something truly different about RBO

Despite being on a "teen" network where assumptions are made about how teens have low IQs.

This show is quite meaningful without being preachy

The love story is the best ever on TV

The lead guy is not preachy or a lamp post

I am tired of watching shows where women have all the say

I am happy this show is not that way

fine. even if she said that, you can't really go to the extreme of saying that she wants shaan to remain a kid. anything and everything shaan has done in his life, which had responsible and mature behavior attached to it, has been because of khanak and no one else. so to say she is hindering his development is a bit extreme ad 😃 even shaan and K family admits how shaan has changed because of khanak. 😉😆

Mangal is a fine actor!

His dialog delivery has the right expressions and tonal modulations

I was a lil disappointed when Shaan didnt get outraged at that line "Isney Mumbai mein hamare saath naukaron jaisa bartaav kiya"

What a jerk!

Shaan was the most gracious host if I recall

What a beautiful "meeting of minds", really......

One of my all time favorite movies, 'Swades' woven seamlessly into the narrative of my all-time favorite serial 'RBO'!!! CVs, surely a huge round of applause coming your way..... 👏👏👏

Shantanu Khandelwal is back, and this time the guy means business!!!!

The delectably flawed Shaan is finally 'coming of age'.....is working at what is imperative to groW*H.....change!!!! Change in himself.....the stepping stone to herald a change of tide of the village and the fortune of its inhabitants......

A complete thumbs-up to the introspective Shantanu Khandelwal....a welcome change from the escapist Shaan who has now come to terms with reality and looks it in the eye....it requires a man of great character and courage to admit that he is directly or indirectly responsible for the current (non) state of affairs!!!! Shaan is finally showing that character!!!!!

His resolve is deep-rooted this time round.....he is a man possessed, and thankfully in the right direction!!!

Superb references to Shaan's basic nature.....of heart ruling over head in his decision-making till date....but the importance of head gradually seeping in when he cares to first know about what went wrong in the village, and then goes about fixing it.....Great touch, that..... a sure-shot indicator of a 'man' in the making!!! Loved the basic essence of Shaan's character being retained right till the very end of his exchange with the Sarpanch.....sticks to his guns, no matter what.....for a cause he truly believes in.....the only difference.....this time, has cared to look beyond himself for the 'greater' cause.....of Dhulwadi at large!!!! You can take a bow Shantanu Khandelwal....we loved you for your burthalness😆....we love you for your insightfulnesss!!! 👍🏼👏

KT was a sheer delight to watch in the episode today, dated 22nd February 2011. The lines were heart-felt, yet beautifully restrained....the 'responsibility' was well-shouldered.....the overall determination, unmistakable!!! Keep up the good work, young man....this facet to your personality vis-a-vis Shaan is an absolute delight to watch!!!👏

Mangal IMO, is the true anti-hero to Shaan's goodness....he is believably menacing, wonderfully understated......yet suberbly bang-on!!! Bring him on CVs....the face-off between 'good' versus 'bad' has only just begun!!!!

Sunil-Madhavi.....delivered to the fullest as usual...only this time in a delectably new avatar....

RaJen.....switched channels!!! CVs.....an earnest request....RBO is finally in revival mode.....Rahul and Jenny are just not fitting in.....may be some place else, some other time.....but RBO is just not the place for them!!! Please wind up this track at the earliest possible....

In summary, a superb epi....and a superb "awakening" on its way....

To jagmagaya aasman sara....

RBO ke taare humein zaroor lage pyare,
