Shaan goes to his cousin & his very good friend dhruv & sits besides him on the couch.

Shaan:- hey dhruv

Dhruv:- shaan…………………congrats yaar……………….tujhse milna hi nahi ho paaya itne time se

Shaan:- haan yaar

Dhruv:- waise bhabhi kahan hai…………….mujhe unse milna hai after all pata toh chalein teri choice

Shaan:-main bhi usse hi dhoondh raha hoon…………..dad se poochte hain

Shaan to sunil:- dad………..mom, khushboo aur khanak kahan hai

Sunil:- aur kahan honge beta……………teeno subah hi parlour chalein gaye shaam ke liye taiyaar hone

Shaan:- shaam ke liye abhi se hi ready ho rahe hain……………..wow

Sunil:- tumne apni mom aur bhabhi se aur kya expect kiya tha haan ki woh log 8 baje ke function ke liye 7 baje ready hona start karenge……………..kya shaan tumhe toh yeh sab pata hona chaiye tha

Shaan:- yeah right……………..mujhe pata hona chaiye tha…………….toh ab hum kya karein

Sunil:- baatein karo beth ke

Shaan:- dhruv chal mere room mein chalte hain……………..wahaan aaram se baatein karenge

They went to shaan's room because everyone was talking very loudly in the living room & there was lot of noise & they were not able to talk in that noise

Dhruv:- chal shaan toh bata

Shaan:- kya

Dhruv:- arre teri aur bhabhi ki kahaani

Shaan:- oh ho aisi koi kahaani nahi hai

He started getting up so that shaan would think he will really not attend his wedding.

Shaan held his hand & stopped him & said:- arre yaar rukh………………beth batata hoon tujhe

Dhruv:- toh chal shuru ho ja

Shaan:- arre yaar aisa kuch nahi tha……………..bas hum dono bachpan se best friends the…………..phir main delhi gaya kuch time pehle par wahaan pe……………

Shaan suddenly became sad & dhruv judged that he was feeling sad so he asked:- kya hua wahaan pe shaan, he asked very seriously

Shaan:- phir uske parents ki death ho gayi……………..ek accident mein……………aur phir…………….phir main usse Mumbai le aaya aur phir woh mere saath office mein kaam karne lagi & hum dono ko ek doosre se pyaar hogaya……………bas itni simple si hai hamaari kahaani

Dhruv:- simple hai………………par bahut real hai yaar nahi toh logon ki kahaaniyan toh itni filmi hoti hai…………………par tum dono ki bahut pyaari love story hai

Shaan & dhruv talked for a long time in shaan's room & then it was evening so everyone started getting ready for the sangeet…………… it was a ladies sangeet & the gents were not allowed & shaan was cribbing more on this that why were the gents not allowed & he became angry when he got to know that he will not be able to be with khanak in the sangeet.

Shaan came out from his room around 6 in the evening & saw sunil really tensed walking from one place to another & he went to sunil & asked:- dad kya hua………………….sab kuch theek toh hain na…………….aap itni tension mein kyun lag rahe ho

Sunil:- beta ek problem ho gayi hai

Shaan:- kya problem

Sunil:- beta sangeet garden mein tha b tab bahut tez baarish aane ki wajah se saari arrangements kharab ho gayi hai……………..aur banquet bhi khali nahi hai………………..samajh nahi aa raha ab kya karoon

Shaan & sunil thought for some time on what to do & then suddenly shaan spoke

Shaan:- toh kya hua dad hum…………….ghar pe sangeet rakh lete hain

Dhruv also entered in sunil's room & heard the whole conversation & then said:- haan hum ghar pe kar sakte hain sangeet

Sunil:- par beta itne saare guests ko hum kaise inform karenge aur 2 ghante hi bache hai……………….kaise hoga yeh sab

Shaan:- dad hum hain na…………..aap, main, dhruv aur akshay bhaiya………………..hum sab milke saare guests ko call kar lenge aur phir saari problem solve

Akshay had come in from behing when everyone was talking & then said:- haan dad I thnk shaan is right……………..toh phir guest list yahaan pe hai toh kaam pe lag jaaye

Shaan:- yes bro

All 4 of dem started calling the guests & by 7:00 der work was finished & all d guests were informed abt d change in the venue & now the ladies had also arrived all dressed up in lehengas & as soon as they entered sunil, akshay & shaan could not take their eyes off madhvi, khushboo & khanak respectively & all d 3 men were standing in a line with dhruv on shaan's side & the ladies were standing in front of them.

Khanak was standing in front of shaan, khushboo was standing in front of akshay & madhvi was standing in front of sunil & all the couples were staring into each other's eyes & then dhruv noticed all d 3 couples staring at each other so he laughed & then cleared his throat to get d 3 couples out of their dream world but no one reacted then he spoke loudly:- hellooo…………………main bhi yahaan hoon

All d 3 couples came out of their dream world & looked embarrassed.

Dhruv:- waah yaar………….great ab aap teeno ke paas toh teen sundar pariyaan hain hi par……………..par mera kya

Dhruv made a baby like face & all of them laughed seeing his face & then shaan kept his hand on dhruv's shoulder & said:- tu chinta kyun karta hai……………….main hoon na………..tere liye bhi ek sundar si pari dhoond lenge

Dhruv:- acha sundar pari haan……………………khanak bhabhi se bhi zyaada sundar

He said raising his eyebrows smiling

Shaan:- I m sry yaar par……………..he looked at khanak & said:- khanak se zyaada sundar pari toh nahi dhoond paunga, he said looking at khanak smiling

Khanak blushed & looked down & then looked up to see his face & when she looked up shaan winked at her & she again looked down blushing

Dhruv:- waah bhaiya bade romantic ho rahe ho

Sunil:- acha chalo ab sab log jaakar ready ho jaao guests aane hi waale honge

Shaan:- yes dad

Sunil:- aur aap teeno toh ready ho hi toh apne room mein jakar aaram kar lo

Madhvi:- omg sunil, madhvi said while making a big shocked face

Sunil:- arre ab kya hua madhvi

Madhvi:- tumhe lagta hai hum log ready hai……………..no sunil abhi hum log ready hue hi kahaan hai…………………I mean hum ready hain par abhi toh humein khanak ka aur phir khud ka poora make up karna hai

Sunil:- kya abhi aur make up karna hai………………….itna saara toh already kar rakha hai aur kitna karoge

Madhvi:- oh god sunil tum nahi samjhoge………………..jab tak guests aayenge yeh make up poora kharab ho jaayega toh humein touch up karna padega na aur ab tum hato yahaan se……………..main aur khushboo khanak ko uske room mein lekar ja rahe hain n dare any of u disturb us okay

Sunil raised his hands in defence & said:- okay

Khushboo:- chalein mom……………chalo khanak

Madhvi & khushboo held khanak by her shoulders & they started walking & while walking khanak kept looking at shaan & shaan kept looking at khanak & then khanak went with madhvi & khushboo to her room & all the men also disappeared from there.

The guests started arriving at 8:30 & everybody was just chatting when a lady said:- arre madhvi……………..dulhan ko toh bulao

Madhvi:- haan zaroor……………khushboo jao beta khanak ko lekar aa jaao

Khushboo:- jee mom

Khushboo went & came out with khanak & as soon as khanak stepped in the living room where the sangeet was being held she felt many eyes on her & she looked down feeling conscious & then khushboo made khanak sit down on one sofa & then everyone started commenting on how beautiful she was looking

Lady 1:- arre waah madhvi…………………tumhari bahu toh bahut sundar hai

Lady 2:- haan madhvi bilkul heera hai

Madhvi smiled & went & sat next to khanak & kept her hands on her shoulders & said:- woh toh hain hi

Since it was a ladies sangeet & no gents were allowed, shaan was really frustrated as he wanted to be with khanak…………….he hadn't talked to her since morning & he was desperately waiting to talk to her but he was not able to.

Shaan kept looking down from up the stairs & he was so mesmerized by the way khanak was looking today that he couldn't take his eyes off her & sometimes in between khanak also looked up & looked at shaan & smiled who smiled back at her & then she turned again towards the guests but she knew shaan was looking at her because she could feel it & she blushed at the thought that shaan was looking at her continuously.

Akshay came from behind & kept his hand on shaan's shoulder:- kya hua chote………….khanak se milne ka mood ho raha hai

Shaan:- aur nahi toh kya bhaiya……………subah se ek baar bhi main khanak se baat nahi kar paaya

Akshay:- oh ho ab koi baat nahi bas aaj aur kal ki hi toh baat hai uske baad toh khanak humesha tere saath hi hone waali hai

Shaan & akshay smiled at each other & then looked down where the ladies were dancing & music was being played. Then khushboo also pulled khanak despite her refusing to dance & now khanak was dancing in the center with khushboo & all the ladies were dancing surrounding them

Shaan kept looking at khanak from up stairs & he was staring at her with a smiling face & when she looked up while dancing & saw him staring she smiled at him & he kept his hand on his heart & said:- hayyyeee……..

Khanak blushed & both of them kept looking at each other for some time & then everyone ate their dinner & went back.

Everyone went back & the khandelwals also went in their rooms to sleep & relax because tomorrow was a big day.

Next day

It was a really bright morning with sun shining brightly & khanak woke up & moved towards the balcony which was in her room only & stood there for some time looking at her mehendi in sunlight & she saw that the mehendi was really dark & she became happy because she had heard from people that darker the mehendi will be ur husband will love u much more & she smiled.

Then she saw the time & realized it was 12 in the afternoon & she realized that she had woken up so late.

Then she went to get freshen up & take her bath & as she had decided she will be fasting today & will only eat something once the wedding is over.

She came after taking her bath & got ready in a very pretty pink salwar suit & came out & greeted everyone but everyone was so busy that they just responded with a good morning beta kuch chaiye tumhe & then everyone went away & then she made a very confused expression & then looked back & saw shaan standing in a white full length cargo n navy blue t-shirt & he had the same confused expression as she had because he was also confused why no one even had time to talk properly to them

Khanak went to shaan & said:- yeh sab kya ho raha hai

Shaan:- mujhe khud ko kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai……………..i mean yeh log itne busy hain ki ek second bhi baat nahi kar sakte

Khanak:- waise tum kab uthe

Shaan:- abhi abhi I mean 12 baje

Khanak:- oh main bhi 12 baje uthi…………..aaj kisi ne uthaya kyun nahi itna late tak kyun sone diya

Khushboo :- kyunki aaj tum dono ke liye ek bahut special din hai aur shayad tumhari life ka sabse special din toh humne socha ki tum log fresh uthoge toh ache se enjoy kar paaoge n ……………….raat ko phir neend bhi nahi aayegi, she said winking at shaan & nudging khanak & khanak blushed

Khushboo:- acha chalo woh sab chodo pehle khanak tum mere saath chalo, she said turning towards khanak

Khanak:- magar kahaan

Khushboo:- arre taiyaar nahi hona kya

Khanak:- par abhi se

Khushboo:- khanakkk……………………abhi se ka kya matlab see its 1 now n agar abhi se ready nahi hoyenge toh 7 baje tak kaise tum ready ho paaogi n den she turned towards shaan & said:- n shaan tum yahaan khade khade kya kar rahe ho ruko main abhi akshay ko bulati hoon woh tumhari help karega ready hone mein……………..akshay akshay, she started shouting akshay's name

Akshay came running & said:- kya hua baby………………..chilla kyun rahi ho

Khushboo:- hawww main chilla rahi hoon its so rude akshay tumhe pata bhi hai

Akshay:- oh ho I m sorry baby ab batao kya hua

Khushboo:- dekho na shaan ko ready karne ke liye 2 baje aane waale hain aur 2 bajne mein ek hi ghanta hai toh tab tak tum jaake sab kuch ready toh karo shaan ka

Khushboo then turned towards khanak & said:- khanak parlour waali bhi aane waali hai 2 baje tak toh chalo tumhari cheezein ready kar dete hain ok

Khanak walked away with khushboo in her room & shaan turned towards akshay & said:- kya bhaiyya main abhi se ready nahi hone waala

Akshay:- its ok chote I cn understand………………….khushboo toh aise hi bolti rehti hai tu chahe toh thodi der aaram kar le………………………..waise bhi I think aur half an hour mein lunch lag jaayega

Shaan:- ok bhaiya

Shaan went in his room to relax for some time & then after half an hour lunch was ready & everyone was sitting at the dining table

Sunil:- toh chalo khana start karo bhai

Everyone started serving each other & started having their lunch & shaan noticed khanak was not eating anything & her plate was empty & then even sunil noticed & he said:- khanak beta tum bhi khaao na

Khanak:- ummm………..dad

She was feeling shy to say so khushboo spoke in her place & said:- dad aaj khanak ne fast rakha hai aur ab woh shaadi poori hone ke baad hi kuch khaayegi

Sunil:- par khanak tumhe yeh sab karne ki zaroorat nahi thi beta…………..its ok

Khanak:- nahi dad mujhe koi problem nahi hai sachi

Sunil:- ok jaisa tum kaho

No one noticed that there were some talks being exchanged through eyes between shaan & khanak for some time & seeing that khanak wasn't eating even shaan dint feel like eating but he had to eat because of everyone's forcing so he ate a little & then everyone moved from there.

Everyone had started getting ready now.

At 7 in the evening

The guests had started arriving & now the place was full of guests talking, laughing, giggling & having lots of fun. People who had kids had also brought their kids with them so kids were running everywhere & laughing.

Madhvi did all the rasams from khanak's side because she knew that khanak would feel bad & when khanak got to know that madhvi was doing the rasam from her side she had tears in her eyes & she was really happy that she had got such a nice mother.

The baraat arrived at the venue & madhvi stood on the gate from khanak's side to do the custom of nose pulling which the mother of the bride had to do & when shaan stood at the gate madhvi did the rasam of nose pulling & shaan kept trying to dodge her from pulling her nose for some time & akshay & rahul said:- very good shaan………………….itni aasani se mat pakad ne dena apni naak

After some time shaan stopped dodging & madhvi finished the custom by pulling his nose but not too tightly & then the baraat entered

He was then made to sit in front of the fire

Pandit:- dulhan ko bulao

Khushboo & Natasha had brought khanak & khanak was looking down & shaan turned around to see her & he couldn't take his eyes off her & couldn't stop staring at her as he noticed that today she was looking the most beautiful lady in this whole world & she came & sat next to him & while she was coming she looked up at him & although she knew that she was marrying the most handsome & good looking person in the world but she realized that she was short of words today to describe how perfect he was looking in his cream & golden coloured kurta with matching churidaar.

In the background shehnai was being played in full swing & it was really complimenting everything that was going on

She sat next to shaan & both of them were handed garlands & then khanak put the garland around shaan's neck & shaan put the garland around khanak's neck & lots of clapping & smiling & shouting was going on

Then they were made to sit down on the chauki next to each other

Khanak's stole was tied with a cloth which was placed around shaan's neck & then they were asked by the pandit to chant some mantras & they did as the pandit asked them to & then the pandit asked khanak's parents to do the kanyaadan & sunil & madhvi came in front in place of khanak's parents & did the kanyaadan by placing khanak's right hand on shaan's hand

The pandit then took shaan's hand & then asked for khanak's hand & then placed khanak's hand on top of shaan's hand & then they spoke the mantras that the pandit had asked them to & then the pandit put something in their hand which was on top of each other & asked them to put them in the fire in front of them & they did so by sliding the thing that was in their hand & this happened 2 or 3 times

Then they were asked to take the pheras around the holy fire

Khanak's hand was placed on shaan's hand & shaan held her hand very caringly as if assuring her that he will always no matter what happens will always stay by her side & then they took the 7 pheras & after completing the pheras the next ritual was saptapadi

In this they had to chant the mantras with each step that the pandit asked them to & they did as told. These were mantras in which they promised each other that they will always support each other in every condition no matter what happens and will always be one till their last breath. They promised each other that they would love each other for the next 7 lives.

Shaan promised khanak that he will always fulfill all her dreams & wishes & will keep her happy forever. Khanak promised shaan that she would stand by his side always & will always support him & his family in every condition & will love him till death & will always make him & his family happy forever.

Everything was done & now they were declared husband & wife

The pandit asked them to take the elders blessings & they first went & touched sunil's & madhvi's feet & then they went to touch akshay's & khushboo's feet & they were about to touch their feet when akshay & khushboo stopped them & said:- pagal ho kya yaar humare per bhi chooge kya

Then they hugged shaan & khanak & now madhvi came to them & said:- chalo beta ab tum log khana kha lo………………khanak ne bhi aaj subah se fast rakha hai toh ab tum dono ko jaake khana kha lena chaiye

Shaan:- ok

Shaan was about to go when he realized that his jootis were missing & then he saw Natasha & khushboo standing with khanak in front of shaan & said:- chalo shaan ab pocket khaali karne ka time aa gaya hai…………………..agar tumhe apni jootiyaan chaiye toh pocket toh khaali karni padegi

Shaan:- acha baba kitna chaiye

Khushboo:- umm……………..hum do hain aur hum dono ko 1 lakh each chaiye haan

Shaan:- what 1 lakh each

Akshay who was standing by shaan's side with rahul said:- arre bhai 1 lakh each toh bahut zyaada hai thoda toh kam karo

Natasha:- acha chalo ok 50,000 each toh dena hi padega

Rahul:- arre tumne kya humein anil ambani samjha hai kya ………………….30,000 each usse zyaada bilkul nahi

Madhvi:- acha baba theek hai naa tum log ki, she said pointing towards khushboo & Natasha & then she said:- aur na tum log ki, she said pointing towards akshay & rahul

Madhvi:- shaan tum 40,000 each de do

Natasha:- haan cmon shaan cmon

Shaan:- ok baba ok

Shaan handed them the money & then after wearing his jootis shaan & khanak went to have dinner.

The place where they were sitting was very beautifully decorated & the plates that were kept in front of them was surrounded by beautiful rose petals & then madhvi fed shaan some mithai & then she asked khanak to have the same mithai piece & she did so blushing & then the had their dinner & shaan & khanak kept stealing glances at each other & now their lives were complete & now as they say in movies "they lived their lives happily ever after"
