Like I said a few days back...no matter how we console ourselves ..the truth is RBO will never be back.....

History stands witness to how beautiful shows on indian television have been ruined because of deviation from themes they started off with and the same seems to be happening here.

For those who started watching RBO from the very beginning they will understand and relate more to this. Now I watch the show simply because I am addicted to it...not because i enjoy.I just need something to get my mind off this and then ill stop without thinking twice. No show on television has recovered once the story collapses and I do not expect RBO to be revived either.

On a more serious note, me wanted to give this whole 'transition phase' some time so that a sense of objectivity wld creep into my critique. As most of us would agree, today's (8th Dec)episode was definitely a notch above the crap dished out last night. Nonetheless, with almost all of us here having had such pleasant memories, not to mention being die-hard fans of RBO, some kind of CONSTRUCTIVE ANALYSIS needs to be done at the earliest; Karishma's timing of the visit to the RBO sets couldn't have been better!!

We hav given them 3 weeks...how much more time?? 1 year??

So, here goes.......

1) Strange as it may sound, we need to thank our stars that KT, Yashu, and Swapnaji (in whatever capacity) are still very much a part of the show!!

Unfortunately, Swapnaji is part of RBO in spirit.... only...at present😕

2) ShaNak scenes still continue to weave magic on screen 😍 and manage to bring a smile to our faces👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The only saving grace....atleast 3 minutes in one episode r good !

3) Much as we'd want to believe otherwise the currrent track will run its course. Hence what we shld press upon now, is how best to salvage it and get it done and over with at the earliest!! The new entries are not bad actors; its just that the situtaions currently, seem far from reality, and hence their acting does not seem to touch our hearts, as RBO used to in the days gone by! I hv always maintained that our reception of the current RBO track depends much on the manner in which it is handled, and star 1 is doing just that.....manhandling it completely!! The new entrants' talent needs to be tapped with non-cliched situations, something that RBO has always been associated with; then maybe just maybe, this rock on meets band baaja baarat khichdi may become a bit more palatable!!!

Now, my take on the CRISIS MANAGEMENT bit!!

1) As Saaz, Gaayu, Aditi, and almost eveyone here on this thread has suggested, the message needs to be conveyed across to the RBO Team loud and clear, although in the best way possible. I don't think our pleas/suggestions will fall on deaf ears 'cos the RBO creatives are constantly asking for feedback, and hence ideally should take us and our sentiments seriously, if they are not mere pawns in the hands of star 1, that is!!!

2) If anyone from IF could directly communicate our issues to Swapnaji/Yash Patnaik in an objective, detailed, yet uncritical manner, that should go a long way in driving home the point!! It would not require a rocket scientist to figure that there is obviously a lot of "creative" pressure from star 1. But no corporate wld be stupid enough to jeopardise its chances and shut shop by creating a sense of disconnect with its viewers, especially after all the brouhaha of star 1 serials going on air 6 days a week!! Hence the RBO team needs to put forth their concerns across to Star 1 and handle them on an equal footing.......at the end of the day its all a vicious circle.....Star 1 keeps the RBO team happy, the RBO Team keeps us happy, and we keep Star 1 and thereby the RBO team happy!! Not too much of happiness, i hope here!!😆

3) I guess there are some of us here who do interact with KT and Yashu over FB on a regular basis. I unfortunately do not, else wld hv taken up this initiaitive myself. My take here is that every competent person on the face of this earth is looking for honest feedback; when KT and Yashu were the whole and soul of RBO, they were told about it, and even now in the midst of all this madness, they are still the saving grace of the show!!! Hence along with the positive feedback given to them about their acting and chemistry, that they truly and completely deserve, it cld be worthwhile dropping a few hints on the degenerating quality of the show in the most subtle and respectable manner.......this endeavour too in my opinion, may pay rich dividends.

In conclusion, wld just like to say that these are entirely my opinions on the RBO damage control that needs to be done FAST and NOW!! After all, despite the negatives, we still switch on our TV sets on 10 PM religiously every night, or try to catch the uploads/repeats at the earliest posssible.......that means we've still not given up, we're still hoping, hopefully not against hope though!!! As i'd said earlier, RBO and us go back a long way together........what bliss it had brought and continues to bring in spurts😆😆 to our lives!! All is not lost......ShaNak/ KT and Yashu are still on......and for all we know, Champak may just be back into our lives!😃 These are trying times guys, lets give it our best shot , and help put them behind us together!!!
