Dr Swati and others that sense that the Forum has quietened down............ here is MY TAKE

I watched today's India episode on youtube this morning.

The creatives or the producers or the directors really dont seem like they care about RBO anymore.

The whole GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB word being repeated by the goon was apalling😡😡😡😡

That one line is a clear indication that there is NO writing in RBO, Saaz

Its has been more than TWO weeks since the newbies came on, ITS JUST NOT HEATING UP😡 There is something seriously wrong with the Rock On track.

Somebody needs to communicate that to Star1 Execs and to the production house.

Unless its all part of some big experiment (that you and I are obviously not privy to) and they are sitting in some mission control room deliberately monitoring/manouvering RBO's crash landing.

Looks like the CVs dont care about RBO show anymore. I wish them all the best in their cinematic ventures/journeys. If this show is not what they want to be associated with, then so be it. It sure seems that way to me!

All said and done its good it happened THIS WAY, coz if RBO was going super hot (Like April-Oct 2010) and if IPL had killed it in February 2011 purely for lack of viewership, it would have been harder for me to recover from that blow, it would have been a painful tragedy.

Thankfully they seem to have WILLFULLY decimated the quality (writing, production, direction, attire, screenplay, thematic connection to the plot) ALL OF IT so rapidly ALL IN THE SPACE OF TWO WEEKS, any desire to watch it is gone now. The withdrawl symptoms are going to be mild or negligible this way.

Hope atleast SOMEBODY is getting something out of it to justify the production investment and the advertizers' airtime and dime.

RBO has been the best LOVE STORY seen on television in a long long time coupled with, almost poetic narration and outstanding acting by KT and YM.

They truly look the best together and possess superior acting skills.

There are no doubts about that in my mind

Good Luck to them for the success (hopefully) of the Rock On-RBO.

KT and YM DONT deserve to fail because of poor network decisions.

Unfortunately, as many of you have noticed or read on the Web, the reasons seem to range from: sudden route change in story demanded by Star1 network execs or writers quitting, or the producers being involved in producing a movie, the end result for us as viewrs has been ripping apart of our favorite show and now pieces are flying all over the place. We as viewers will never be told the truth, we will never know what caused the the sudden change of track

I really did not care for Rock On the movie, I dont think I will stay up analyzing a TV imitation of it

Disappointed!

Feeling bad for KT and YM... they put in so much hard work for this show to do well till the CVs decided to introduce some so called purani dosts and disappointed the RBO viewers.. Feels like giving a knock on their heads and tell them not to waste talents like KT and YM...

In the entertainment industry especially television, you lose a "loyal" viewer HE/SHE is GONE for GOOD.

Try as hard as you may, they are not coming back.

Its like brain surgery (sorry for the analogy), you mess up one thing, you permanently disable the person laying on the operation table.

I am just stunned that network executives have such POOR foresight and judgement so as to stuff a band/college/teen brawl/canteen fight theme into a LOVE STORY!

@ Aditeee....yaar...aaj when I didn;t see your post immedaitely after the episode, I knew you were busy manoing shok...for the death of golden RBO....have you donned a white saree and collected firewood to burn the last remains....I am pasting my views on today's episode from various posts...

you know generally my gut feeling is they shall give us filler scenes with respect to akki-boo and mad-sunil just to keep original RBO lovers happy...

I agree the make-up was way too much...as for Madhavi referring to her as KFD and Sunil not stopping...I think he jjust wanted to placate the new arrangement they have...did not want to disturb still waters...in the sense, they just decided to be together for sake of children and then did not want to start a fight...BUT then again,,,it is higly possible that the dialogue writers did not think thorugh because all they wanted was to sprinkle a mad-sunil scene

Needed editing big time...while twas cute....why the hell are both talking like they shot for this scene seperately---which they probably did---- but don;t make it so obvious...

,,,,see the shanak phone convo...Shaan says ...'sam ko koyi kaam aa pada hoga..." Khanak says.."beegee???' but yaar Shaan did not use the word busy...it seemed like the writers are just making us happy with sprinkling little things we like about the show...essence tho khatam ho gaya yaar

DIALOGUES>>>>>WRITING>>>>

the repetitive dialogues, the whole physical aspect trying to make up for lack of dialogues (you know Sam running around Duck)..Shaan's dialogues with Sam and Duck lacked punch...the whole miscommunication lacked oomph....was it supposed to be comic or serious miscommunication... .

I mean where are the writers who gave us a "SR ke baare mein sab jaanti hoon" miscommunication OR a "Main waha aayi thi lekin meri zaroorat nahin thi"....in dono miscommunication mein the flavour or emotion was clear-cut--yaa comedy yaa seriousness....this is where this conversation failed...what are we as viewers supposed to feel???/?/..

ODHANI BADAL GAYI,,,,,, rang hi nahin poori naksha bhi....

THIS WAS NOT AN Odhani episode at all....that cafe scene..the scene between the three...sorry but not odhani...but like Odhani met with an accident with Dee Emm Gee or something....HAI RAM!!! I didn;t want to say it aloud...but yes, I felt it and felt it hard...

On rahul-khanak scene- this seems to have been well taken generally...but for me complete OTT and filmy not the RBO I know at alll...

So Rahul is Rajnikanth??? I told you guys...yeh apni kudh ki movie mein jee raha hai...I actually approve of the poooja thing it is so Khanak...remember the pooja scene before Shaan;s presentation??? .

FRANKLY, todays scenes were the nail in the coffin...I agree with lots of us here..I am now officially deaddicted....in my honest opinion...Swapna is not involved anymore in the episodes...thats why they are so half baked, unrehearesed and the writing has gone very low qualitatively- their two best dialogue writers have left--- Garodiyas.......I would come back if these people came back...but otherwise...catching up on updates and maybe chatting with some really nice people I met here...including three of you 😃...ab tho mere shanakisim ke liye bhii no inspiration raha..

Wish I could pull out KT and YM from the present crap and make a new RBO with the good old chemistry....

@Saaz - Just spoke to Karishma and Swapna Ji is still on set each day....Perhaps the new tracks are taking longer to iron-out and the writing needs attention😕....

i really preeferred the quality of rbo that v had over this shitty quantity

im loving the new ppl theres no doubt abt it but the stry is really making no sense at all

If that is the case,...then tell her to get her dialogue writers back....we will get more meaningful stuff and connectivity to the story only from them....secondly,...being on the set is not the same as being series director...you can be on the set as a producer and not interfere with 'creative' aspects at all...

Like I said my feeling from doing some digging..what is really happening no one knows including probably SWAPNA herself😆😆😆

Hey Karishma...on a side note...I thought you will do a post on your visit to the set??? kya hua??? or are all the discussions done and I missed it...am quite curious to know😃

i agree to u that may b swapnaji aint directing anymore but im sure shes there on the sets every singleday

this is mainly cause of the star one ppl n they r whole heartedly to b blamed they killed that rbo n all their shows wich ppl loved

Aww....Aditee...and Saaz...you both said it all...there were days when one used to catch it on TV an then watch on YT too...just to catch teh acting or a good scene or dialogues...now...it does not matter deos it...because..the only thing we catch these days is the bad dialogues...scenes executions...directions, editing...messed up story, timelines etc...what is really left to praise...nothing....feel bad for KT & Yash...and even for the new comers..who..are only doing what they have been told...they are good actors in their own rights..but whats the use if not given good...dialogues...or scenes...or que or direction....RBO...lost really and it seems like a dream now...

Its on its way to becoming another StarOne show...with no head or tail really....
