Dr Swati and others that sense that the Forum has quietened down............ here is MY TAKE
I watched today's India episode on youtube this morning.
The creatives or the producers or the directors really dont seem like they care about RBO anymore.
The whole GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB GAREEB word being repeated by the goon was apallingš”š”š”š”
That one line is a clear indication that there is NO writing in RBO, Saaz
Its has been more than TWO weeks since the newbies came on, ITS JUST NOT HEATING UPš” There is something seriously wrong with the Rock On track.
Somebody needs to communicate that to Star1 Execs and to the production house.
Unless its all part of some big experiment (that you and I are obviously not privy to) and they are sitting in some mission control room deliberately monitoring/manouvering RBO's crash landing.
Looks like the CVs dont care about RBO show anymore. I wish them all the best in their cinematic ventures/journeys. If this show is not what they want to be associated with, then so be it. It sure seems that way to me!
All said and done its good it happened THIS WAY, coz if RBO was going super hot (Like April-Oct 2010) and if IPL had killed it in February 2011 purely for lack of viewership, it would have been harder for me to recover from that blow, it would have been a painful tragedy.
Thankfully they seem to have WILLFULLY decimated the quality (writing, production, direction, attire, screenplay, thematic connection to the plot) ALL OF IT so rapidly ALL IN THE SPACE OF TWO WEEKS, any desire to watch it is gone now. The withdrawl symptoms are going to be mild or negligible this way.
Hope atleast SOMEBODY is getting something out of it to justify the production investment and the advertizers' airtime and dime.
RBO has been the best LOVE STORY seen on television in a long long time coupled with, almost poetic narration and outstanding acting by KT and YM.
They truly look the best together and possess superior acting skills.
There are no doubts about that in my mind
Good Luck to them for the success (hopefully) of the Rock On-RBO.
KT and YM DONT deserve to fail because of poor network decisions.
Unfortunately, as many of you have noticed or read on the Web, the reasons seem to range from: sudden route change in story demanded by Star1 network execs or writers quitting, or the producers being involved in producing a movie, the end result for us as viewrs has been ripping apart of our favorite show and now pieces are flying all over the place. We as viewers will never be told the truth, we will never know what caused the the sudden change of track
I really did not care for Rock On the movie, I dont think I will stay up analyzing a TV imitation of it
Disappointed!
