Also, I have a request: could I please have all your names? I love to repond to people by their names. Idk but i think it's polite.

Part 1
Rahul and Priya's school
Khanak, the youngest daughter of Pratap and Nishu, youngest sister to Khusboo, and the baby of the house. A free-spirited, independent soul, Khanak believed in enjoying the life to the fullest. To her life was just a way to help others and spreading smile around. She took negatives of her life and turned them into positives. Her family was her life and she believed in them with her whole heart. She was a child at heart, never wanting to grow up, no matter how old she got.
At the age of 22, when she should be behaving like a grown-up, since all her friends did, she behaved like a kid, especially with other kids. She raced with Rahul and Priya in everything they did. She often believed that her soul was stuck in a body of 22-years-old and believed that she was waiting for someone to take that soul out and return to its rightful owner. She loved Rahul and Priya, they were her whole life ever since they were born. She would behave like a mother with them when they would misbehave or when needed and other times she would be a child with them, fighting with them on the smallest things.
"You've completely spoiled them," Ruby said it for the Nth time, "Why do you keep giving in to their demands? At this rate, they will be richer than you if you keep giving in to their demands."
Khanak smiled at her friend, while putting away her wallet. She stood up and faced Ruby, "You say this every time I give them the money and every time I just smile at you and just say 'I know but I love them.' So why do you ask me this question again and again, Ruby?"
Ruby: "Khanak, don't you get tired of all this?"
Khanak, mocking Ruby: "Ruby, don't you get tired of asking me all this?"
Ruby shook her head, "Aye Bhagwan, main kya karon iss ladki ka?"
"Pyar! Aur Kya!?" Khanak excitedly hugged her best friend.
"Haan, aur kar bhi kya sakti hoon? Majboori hai meri warna app mahan pata nai kya haal karti hain un becharon ka joh appse panga lete hain," Ruby responded in the most filmy style possible.
Khanak played along with her friend, "Haan woh toh hai. Hum, Khanak of Mumbai, sabke hosh udd dete hain apni taqat aur muskarahat se. Toh bhi humse panga lege woh humse peecha nahi chuda paiyega. Bolo Khanak ki Jai Ho!"
Both the girls looked at eachother and burst out laughing. The girls giggled all the way to their bikes. They mounted their bikes once again and started their journey to their work. Biking and chatting all the way to work.
It's not that Khanak didn't have a car to ride to work but she preferred to ride a bike to work. To her, the open fresh air hitting her face meant that life is free and one should enjoy it. The fresh air freshens her mornings, according to her, and tend to spread joy through the air. She believes that if the air touched her face then like it touches others, her smile will transfer to everyone else around her with the help of the air.
Shaan's home:
The only son of Sunil and Madhavi, the sole heir to Khandelwal's Empire, and the apple of his grandmother's eyes. Shaan Khandelwal, the 26-years-old man, believes in hard work. Although many would say he is a spoiled rich brat, but he really is not. He is a young, responsible man looking of ways to fulfill his and his parents' ambitions. He helps his dad run the empire but he believes in achieving his own dreams.
He respects his family, most importantly he loves them. His parents have always been there for him but in a different than he wanted them to be. He doesn't complain and he understands their point of view but he hoped for more from them. Hence his only friend at home was his Dadi and his driver, Dharam. For outsiders, Shaan is a serious-type and strict guy but for his family, he is a troublemaker in his own way. People who are close to him, knows that Shaan can be fun when he wanted to be and can be serious when he needs to be. It was unfortunate that he was serious 90% of the time. It was rare times when an outsider saw him smile.
This morning was one of those days because since morning Shaan has been smiling non-stop. In fact, this whole week his smile has been plastered on his face that his whole staff is in shock. Not that they never saw him smile, but to this extent was a big surprise for them. The female ladies in his office often were making blunders when he was around these days.
Shaan smile once again thinking about his and Dadi's morning conversation. When he woke up this morning, he was confused but yet smiling thinking about the girl from his dreams. Over the breakfast table, he told Dadi of the dream.
"Dadi, do you dream of the same dream every night?" Shaan asked her apprehensively.
"Nahi beta. Kyu?"
"Kuch nahi dadi bus waise hi. I've been dreaming about the same thing every day and I'm not sure what it means. So I'm just trying to figure out if it happens to everyone."
"I don't know about that Shaan, par haan itna zaroor janti hoon ke agar koi khawab sache dil se aate hai, har roz ho ya phir ek baar, woh hamesha sach ho jata hai."
"toh iska matlab hai mera khawab ek din sach ho jayega?" Shaan asked himself while smiling.
"kuch kaha shaan?" Dadi asked him, all the while observing him.
"Nahi, kuch nahi. kuch bhi toh nahi Dadi. I only said that I am getting late." Shaan covered it up and finished his breakfast.
Here he was heading to work, thinking about his dream and the morning talk. He couldn't help the smile that kept forming on his face. He had the car windows open, while his driver drove him to work.
"Kya baat hai Shaan baba, app aaj bohat khush lag rahe hain. Kuch hua hai kya?" Dharam asked Shaan.
Shaan looked at Dharam and smile, "Nothing happened Dharam. I'm just happy that year is about to end and soon I will be going to America for vacation, just like Dad promised. So just thinking about that," he lied to Dharam. Shaan didn't want anyone to make fun of him.
Shaan looked out the window, while Dharam drove. He came to a red light stop and as he looked among people. two girls caught his eyes. One was in red dress clothes and the other in white shirt and black pants. What was amusing about these girls was that they were riding bikes with dress clothes on. He wondered why would anyone ride a bike in such fancy clothes. He was amused about it. He couldn't hear their conversation but he could tell they were both oblivious to everything around them and chatting non-stop.
He heard them laugh from time to time and smiled every time they laughed. His smile grew wider everytime the girl in white shirt laugh. Her laugh had something that he couldn't figure out. There was something hidden in it. It was as if he could feel himself being pulled towards her. He couldn't see her face but he wanted to and he didn't know why. It wasn't the type of laugh he heard in general female species. This laugh had an identity of its own and every time he heard it, he wanted to know more about the girl.
As the light turned green, the girls turned right on their exit, while Shaan's car proceeded forward to his office. He turned around to catch the glimpse of the girls but he couldn't due to the traffic and his moving car.
He sat back in the seat, disappointed. For few minutes he sat there like that, feeling dejected but then a wide smile spread across his face as he thought about his dream again.
One day Shaan. One day! he thought to himself.
