Madhavi Khandelwal aka Rushali of Rang Badalti Odhani on STAR One is the strict no-nonsense woman on screen. We catch up with her and realize that she is totally the opposite of her onscreen avatar in real life. |
When asked about who is the most serious actor in Rang Badalti Odhani Rushali laughs "Our servant Harilal is the only serious actor on the sets". Speaking about her co-actors she says "We are a small unit with just 6 actors so everybody is very seedha-saada and we don't have too many pranks either. Rushad is the newest and he too is the calm and quiet types. In my previous shows we had many actors and lots of ego clashes but nothing like that here. We have harmonious relations and I am comfortable with my co-stars".
Rushali also reveals that she is enjoying the current track. "The show has drama as well as comedy now. You have to create drama to show certain things but it should be portrayed in the right way".
Questioned about whether she prefers comedy or drama Rushali quickly opts for comedy. "At 10 in the night viewers would like to sit back and laugh, too much drama is boring".
When asked about how she unwinds after the shoot Rushali says "We go to our respective family and friends after the shoot. If I have a early morning call I prefer having a quiet dinner and going to sleep. If it's a later call time I get some time for myself".
