Khanak is in the kitchen pondering about the book (and burning her sabzi) when Shaan comes and says to her that she has burnt the sabzi and does she expect him to eat this! She replies I that she doesn't know what she wants but certainly knows what is going on in Shaan's mind and what "khichri" is cooking in it! (duhh Khanak! Ab bhee nahi pata chalay ga toh kub pata chalay ga!) Shaan scolds Khanak lightly for calling his love a 'khichri' and then VERY seductively touches her hand and says that he just wants to know what she feels when he touches her. Then he places a kiss on her hand and again asks her what she feels. She closes her eyes and just then Harilal enters and says that the vegetable has burnt! Khanak realizes it was a dream! (darn! Why do all the hot romances have to be dreams in this show?)
Shaan wants Khanak to read the book and enters the kitchen while Khanak has her head turned towards the other direction and keeps the book between the vegetables (uncooked walay not burnt walay lol) and hurries out o the kitchen. Khanak drinks water and complains that the book has made her head go all hot! (and guys I'm NOT sure whether this is a perverted dialogue or not😕😆) When she returns to the kitchen counter she gets horrified to see the book and hastens to hide it (in her dupatta? Seriously Khanak? Lol) Shaan, outside, however gets excited and says to himself that NOW Khanak will know what he wants (dude! This guy is desperate! And did I mention I LOVE this track?). He hides behind a pillar and sees Khanak come out of the kitchen, book in hand, but she bumps into SD and the book falls off her hand. Shaan gets a major panic attack when Madhvi picks up the book (lol I don't blame him! Imagine WHAT would happen if SD would find out about her son's desperate attempts to seduce KFD!) anyway, SD gets a call and Khanak very slyly just takes the book out of her hand when she's busy on the call. It is Sunil who yells at SD to talk to the lawyer herself about the divorce proceedings and not to bother him since she is the one who wants the divorce. SD hangs up, worried. Shaan notices his mother's anguish and wonders what is wrong with his parents.
Khanak enters her room with the book and keeps it on the table. Just then BD enters and asks Khanak to do her favour and call on so and so number to talk to a girl and tell her to lay off her husband (oh puhleeezeee) but in the background Shaan enters the room and in his isharaas picks up the book and specifically points at it and tells Khanak to read it. BD is going on and on with her buk buk and Khanak tells her that she will do what she wants but actually the message is for Shaan. Shaan leaves the room and Khanak tells herself, rather BD, that she is not ready for this as of now (Khanak are you nuts!? Give the poor guy and US a break!)
Shaan is somewhere outside in a pink shirt and calls up Khanak and greets her by saying "honay wali Mrs. Khandelwal" at which Khanak replies that she already is. Shaan asks her (in a sexy voice) if she has read the book but she blushes and says no (haawww jhooti!) shaan tells her to read it and it may happen that when she awakes the next morning she will be Mrs.Khandelwal in the true sense (yes please Khanak I've waited enough!)He asks her k has she understood or does she need further clarification. She says she has understood. Shaan asks her bolo yes or no. (errmm I'm confused! What was the question again?)and Khanak replies that she will wait for Shaan. She blushes thinking of what she said.
Precap: Khanak is applying sindoor and Shaan has an accident, or rather his car just jams into some police barriers.
