I am just catching up on six months of the show................ online!
Some episodes have been truly mindblowing.
I realize this show is not all about emancipation of women, child labor, trafficking or any other serious cerebral issue.
Its a simple breezy love story, and Swapna and creatives have done a splendid job thus far (except the ILU was streched way too long)
Some of the most notable people/moments in my opinion have been:
1. Natasha's character. She is brilliant when she portrays the jilted lover beautifully each time she is faced with Shaan's love for Khanak.
2. Khanak gravitates between a mature, practical, gal of few words and this chatty chirpy innocent prankster.
3. Shaan looks devastatingly good in almost all shots. I didnt care much for some gestures of his that reminded me of Salman Khan
4. The scene when Natasha and Khanak confront each other before Khanak takes off on auto, she says " The Shaan I knew was selfish, boorish and short tempered" Khanak responds with "The guy I am leaving for you is "generous, warm and understanding" GREAT LINES!
5. Later when Tashu confronts Shaan and he talks about Khanak ENDLESSLY, she says " Pyaar ko dosti aur dosti ko pyaar samajh lete hain hum" Very powerful!
6. Every time Khanak urges Shaan to go apologize to Tashu she says the same thing in different ways " There is no wrong that cannot be set right by the heart" NICE!
7. KT-YM CHEMISTRY IS MINDBLOWING. All the wrist grabbing-dupatta scenes were a sheer treat. Not to mention the scenes where he just LOOKS AT HER, NOT A WORD EXCHANGED!
8. My heart raced when Khanak carefully avoided telling Natasha about how she got soaked (green dress clip- where he dumps jadi booti water on her). Him in the bathroom and she handing a towel to him, their convo--- very INTIMATE yet so endearing.
9. Their private moments are so utterly private................
Please feel free to add
On the whole a great show!
LOVE IT

To add to your list..

RBO music has won two prestigious awards.. and their BG is mindblowingly amazing.. just amazing.. (if you haven't realized .. listen in the next time) each track.. and each emotion has a different background music... and in all types of musiz.. jazz .. indian classical.. different instruments.

each and every character is so thought out..
each and every actor is so rightly selected.. and is a perfect fit.
each and every actor is a known actor who is good in their field.

Swapna and her team is known to make heartwarming and good shows and respect their viewers.

Yash and KT totally rock it.. they have their own style.. and are great..

Sorry to ramble.. but this is what does to us RBO fans...😆

watchout there will be more lists coming😆

Some more:
10 KT, the lead actor seems very fluent in English. Its a MUST for ME. I cant stand shows where the guy's English is heavily accented or completely ludicrous. I am pleased to hear him be very fluent.
11. Veena, I agree both the instrumental and the Shankar M's vocal are both splendid.
I am from the south of India and SM happens to be one of my fave singers, both in Hindi and Tamil. So Iam thrilled he stole the show. In fact I havent seen a TV show with such a splendid title track ever! Its earthy, rustic and passionate.............
12. I LOVE SHAAN'S PERSISTENCE. He is shown as a very possessive persistent guy, the way he presses K for answers and spots and nails her when ever she evades/avaoids him is very good to watch
13 MY MOST FAVE EPISODE OF ALL: When Shaan reluctantly agrees to get engaged to Tashu and later confronts Khanak
14. A scene after the above where they are all sitting around the table to eat, and Khanak hastily hides her mangal sootra from Tashu, Shaan is furious! TOO GOOD!

If you ask me to add scenes i will take the whole day coz each one is better than the rest.😆

Ok just a quick take.

Basically never watched this show from the beginning.Started from KKH sequence and then was hooked. You have got to see that sequence, and im not talking about the song per se but the whole thing right from their heart to heart conversation ....and OMG Karans acting as a drunk was just well ..Gold⭐️.And this was way b 4 they fell in love and still the comfort and the chemistry was highly visisble.

Confrontation in the room after engagement....Best Shanak scene up until now( I still watch that scene twice every week)😆.Pain, hurt denial, anger, love all entailed into one. That scene was killer.

All their private romantic moments as you said are very private so there is no point discussing it openly on the forum.😆.....read shower, tie scenes.😆

Hmmmm some scenes are so real that it makes me feel i am watching a reality show and not a soap ,that is how good they are.

Lowpoints.....somes loose ends have not been tied,Love you track took too long but that is coz of the hold that Star1 has on it's shows and their dominating nature.

Overall after watching it for a whole 7 months and having still not seen the beginning really well i would still give it a 8.5/10 coz would give it a 9 but unfortunately it comes on Star1 so,the story has a tendency of shifting gear anytime. But it is still the channels most sensible show.

Major advantage....KT and YM's combustible chemistry.CV's plz use these 2 talents carefully and wisely. They are your trump cards and can perform flawlessly any scene .Comedy, romance passion..they can do it all.!!

hey dear aditee.
I am at work still i wanted to make a long contribution to this thread and so took off ome time to think it over and write..
,
yes this is really a gr8 show..and the title track and BG music are reallly a treat to ears.. u have highlighted all the wonderful scenes.. i would like to add a few on the lead characters
ShaNak...
1.Khanaks character from the beginnning did not misunderstand natasha at any point..It never happens in any other show..Normally once a girl becomes wife she expects her hubby to get over the past...
2.She may not be very highly educated but she is shown as a highly confident girl.. and she never self pities her at any time saying "why these things happen tome alone etc.,"
she accepts the things that are thrown by circumstances to her without much fuss and finds a way to keep going...without complaining....
3.She is practical..when she realises that Shaan would be killed and unwantedly thre would be a lossof life and her won family would suffer too without money she comes forward wih a propsal of saving his life and also securing her family..Means she is not talking all unwanted Big Bhasahns sayig she would nevr evr bow down etc.,
4.She has adjusted so well to the completely new environment..slowly winning hearts making it look effortlessly with her innocence and pure heart.. I mean to say she never threw herself on some one and won their love...jsst by her constant perseverance with a real aim of ding good.
well the list goes on I have highlighted only a few..
Now to Shaan:
1shaan was really interested in the welfare of khanak even since beginning that is why he suggested a second mariage a innocent pure heart
.irresponsbile ....he was responsble for surajs death because of his carelessness.
This character combination of innocent heart but yet irrensponsible is really somethting very good.
2.he always felt bad after hurting khaank some where deep in his heart he knew she is a good girl and her intentions are good..yet was confused ..
3.once he promised her that he would take care of her if she returned home he constantly took efforts to prove it by teaching Englsih., by fighting for ehr agains mom., later persuading mom to try accepting her. That is he nevr ever let down khanak as a friend..again proves how good hearted person he is..
4.he never made her feel he was very rich she came from a family lower than his sttatus either through his words or his actions once she came back...he made her feel he was there for her irrespective of theri differnces
5.Once he understood his heart lies with her he did not again confuse us by shuttling between khanak and natasha..he was clear..in his heart though cirumstances made him accept for engagement..and made him appear as confused..
6he is extremely patient in slowly winning over her..and has won infact..
again here ar so many good points for shaan that i have highlighted only a few..
These are more realsitc characters and hence appeals to us in a most endearing way..
No wonder u caught up with old episodes..it is really that much worth..

Thanks, shriya, sharmi, simi..................
Wonderful points.
Thanks for highlighting the depth of Shaan's and K's character.
I always wonder, when I obsess over a TV show (Kasamh Se and Kutumb thus far) if the creatives ever THINK like WE do, or is it just a matter of just another episode for them
We as viewers notice tiny nuances in the characters and talk endlessly about it............ every facial expression, the props, the lighting every word they say is dissected minutely.
Pata nahi itna sochte hongey or must they be just randomly filming and ttying it all together in the editing room
I am amazed at KT's dialog delivery, like many of you have said, he speaks like he is talking off screen
It doesnt sound scripted at all, very realistic
Khanak's simple logical explanation to all the world problems is refreshing. She does NOT TRY TO BE A MARTYR, at the same time sympathizes with Tashu.
Leading ladies on TV are usually sacrificial lambs. They don two ton sarees and another couple of tons in jewelry and spew Ramdev Baba and Ravi Shankar all in a single breath.
This one is different, truly!
I also ack, Star1's interference and meddling, disappointing but real!

After Kasam Se in Zee, I haven't watched serials so much. But this one accidentally happened and I really loved this. In fact only a few episodes I have seen in last two weeks, I also wanted to go through the old episodes.

In fact I was so afraid of wasting time seeing the usual plots in every serial. Each unique serials died a hard death in the hands of creatives with useless tracks. Hope this one will not go in such drain in future. I know the creatives are different.

I am happy the quality is good in acting and in the creation too. And especially this forum also develops a kind of quality discussions here. I need to catch up the old episodes, getting inspirations from you.

True that about KT.. his voice modulation in his dialogues are absolutely mindblowing.. eg: Yesterday when he was talking to himself when Khanak was sleeping.. very soft.. calm.. and smooth.. i haven't heard that voice of KT yet.. and he is very spontaneous ..his actions reactions.. are amazing!!!

Khanak's approach toward Shaan and Tashu was great too.. made us love Khanak more..

Like Simi said.. even if there are vamps in the show.. which is so minimal.. they are not OTT melodramatic.

@ Scenes.
if you get a chance watch the patshala scenes where Shaan is teaching Khanak to learn English... and they are debating over .. Phool and Fool.. BEAUTIFUL Scene.. amazing acting by both Yash and KT!

Rose,
Hi! I recall your name from our KS-Ram Kapoor chat (more like chant)! :-)
Good to see you............ I thought it was you, but waited...........
YOU MUST WATCH THE JULY-SEP ONLINE
Its the best era of this show.
It shows Shaan evolving from an irresponsible yet "good at heart" guy to an amazing husband
It shows her falling in love
You cant beat that
Just watch it for their effortless interactions. Every scene where both are in the same frame is a treat.
Mine is an "arranged" marriage so to speak, plus I ABS LOVE LOVE STORIES, considering the two............ i am absolutely fascinated by the whole concept of two strangers made to live together, falling in love.
Sharing the same bathroom, the same mirror, every lil thing is a big deal in arranged marriages yet happens seamlessly
Its an complete joy to watch these two experience that!
