The discussions by my dear friends in the episode DT are the inspiration and reason for this thought😃.....
ShaNak are not the regular soap jodi, who are part of your typical triangle....Their story goes much deeper than this....So rather than look at the surface, we have to look into the reasons for their behaviour....At the same time we have remember to enjoy the drama and give the CVs a little bit of artistic freedom😊....
Both Shaan and Khanak reactions may seem silly and confusing at times....But the point is, they are ment to be confused.....The situation and foundation of their marriage was built on such extreme circumstances.....So it is no wonder both are stumbling and making sillly mistakes....
Khanak is very causious about her feeling towards Shaan and doesn't want to jeapodise her friendship with Shaan....But she no longer blames him for Suraj's death and she has accepted him as her husband....She was pro Natasha, but somewhere deep down I think she knows there is a change in Shaan's feelings....She has thought this many times and she witnessed the whole ' ILU Khanak ' slip.....I really think she knows things are different, but till today she wasn't willing to give it a thought.....
Shaan's constant ' I won't let you go ' ,' You are my wife' , his reliance on her opinion, his behaviour, his closeness, the note, Dadi's & Gopi's advice....Have influenced Khanak's thinking....Maybe this is why Natasha didn't cross her mind when Shaan was proposing....Was it out of charactor?.....Well Khanak has accepted him as her husband and she herself said today, that she intends to furfill her patni daraam....So she is happy to stay married to him, she didn't suddenly realise she was in love....She felt shy like any girl would feel in her shoes and lets face it was Shaan asking her 😉😃.....This whole track will help her realise what she feels and when ShaNak are together, it will be better than just, being a good wife....Khanak needed this shock.....
Shaan never wanted to fall for Khanak....When he made that slip, his reaction was he can never love Khanak....But he fell in love and now he is trying to keep everyone happy.....But in typical Shaan style....He can't deal with one thing at a time and he rushed into telling Khanak before he ended things officailly with Natasha....Chalo that's Shaan for you😆......Many people wondered why he was doubting Khanak, well once again I thought that was justified....Khanak has always said Suraj's place can never be taken....This is reason for Shaan to feel in secure.....Most of the time she feels shy around him and she pushes him towards Natasha....But I think today's behaviour was his gutt reaction, on feeling rejected and his hopes being dashed.....He will start thinking again tomorrow or next week...Lets give our sweet burthal some time to sulk😆....
I mean imagine making everthing perfect for you love and getting a shock likee that....I think he was very controled....After putting Natasha through so much he felt bad....To make things worse his familly were strangely there to witness it all......What could he say then and there?.....
Lets put aside small things like who was listening when, let asume that the others came later.....Shaan lines fitted both girls, at various times....After her shock, Khanak did think Shaan wanted her to witness this.....I thought this would happen and it did.....SD&BD have obviously planned this....The K-men just don't want conflict and are like pentulums, swinging from side to side....Some may say they are useless, or maybe they are waiting for the right moment....Given time Mr.K is bound to talk to Shaan....Now was not the right time, as everyone seemed so happy, with the news.....
What will happen next?....Well Khanak will start to feel her heart break......Natasha needed this because it will help her realise what ShaNak have and that they never intented to hurt her.....Maybe she will be the one to unite them, as she has noticed the changes so far.....Her behaviour tonight was perhaps a little over the top, but she was probubly floored by Shaan's love and cuteness😃....
This is not the typicial soap drama in my eyes, it is much more complicated than that....All the charactors have genuine reason for their actions and behaviour.....Their past relations and new feelings have to be considered.....So lets just sit back and try to see what this track will do for each charactor and in what way is it going to impact them....Lets look at the big pictureand lets not compare this story with things we have seen before....Only then will we see why the engagment was needed and it's not the typical triangle....
P.S. I have a funny feeling that the letter were switched😕....But I can't make sense of why I am thinking this....After the presentation Shaan wondered if she had got the letter and today he was wondering if she rejected his love....Any way lets see what the Cvs have in store for us😊.....
