Oh watched the epi again...and just wanted to add..loved how Shan scold her for being so slefless...of only thinking of others and not herself.....awww...so loved that...and then him going and adding but I think about you....awww.....my baby....he truly knows Khanak....thus he came home early knowing full well she may do something drastic...and she was..for his and Natasha's sake...Loved his expresssions when she said that..I don't want to come in between you....she was sad and angry because of me....she felt so bad poor dear..and guilty too....realizing the truth that Natasha hated sharing Shan...even for few days or months...

Love that he wants to make her life bearable and happy even for a few months...without her worrying about everythng...or answering everyone for everything....

U r right abt how much time CVs have in daily soaps to think of what they want to convey. I was shocked to read that the Geet people have no bank episodes, so have to shoot with the lead actor (Gurmeet) even when the poor guy is suffering from malaria!😲 These people are literally shooting an episode 24-48 hrs in advance. I read somewhere also that they write the scenes in the set itself...they probably don't have much time to think like we do. May be there is a danger there of us over-analysing, LOL....

Another point- don't mean to dampen anyone's spirits, but in the last 1 yr and 4 months, since I joined IF, I analysed and analysed at least 3 shows in depth- have now given up on one totally, have just got my interest back in another, and am beginning to fear the third one is on its way down! All 3 were great stories to begin with, with stellar cast, superb direction etc... and then god knows what happened...bhagwan kare, it doesn't happen to RBO... but I do keep telling myself to be careful with ShaNak as well, since I was not very careful with the other pairs!

Apologies for this personal digression..hope to enjoy ShaNak as long as RBO CVs allow us to!

^^ that happened to me too! Kis Desh..I was obsessed with that show like no other. but it got so bad in the end that I started hating it to a new level. 😆 hopefully that doesn't happen with RBO. *touchwood* I'm pretty sure it won't..the director seems really really nice..I'm sure she'll keep us glued to the show! (:

Me too, banking of Swapna ji only... she seems like the opposite of Ekta! Hope she won't let us down.

@ Scholar Ji: Only u've got the wisdom to sum up an all-over paragraph of stuff in one word.. "Over-analysis". Thank you for that one! And that's exactly what I meant. I remember we had this discussion earlier too when I had apprised you about how the episodes are shot and how there are no banks of them. Its quite unlike the West and one got to give it to the entire crew and production team along with the cast members for putting up with such enormous amounts of pressure and deadlines all the time. Health or availability is rarely a reason to be away. As long as the soap goes, u shoot day in and day out with little rest.

This is precisely why I don't think that at times, the director or the script-writers intend on portraying certain things that we associate with such greatness in the shows. However, like I said, luck & fate seems to be favoring RBO as well in addition to the wonderful script-writing, direction, acting, music, and other components. But its wonderful to see a show thriving on success like so. Hope it stays the same for months and months to come. Eventually, everything has to halt.. Everything has to take a break.. Everything will not be all good.. But until that "eventual time" comes, let's soak in all the great moments and memories that the show brings to us :)

Btw, you are as crazy as me, I suppose. Why are u pulling an all-nighter? Take care of your health too, ok? Work's always going to be there..

And I am so tempted to name the 3 shows that u didn't name in your comment. The one with renowned interest is the one where Nishu is (correct?) ~ The one u've given up on is perhaps the one whose sig u used to support when we met initially and the one u fear of losing focus is the one with a certain bhao in it??? Hmmm... Am I right or am I right? :P

Gaayu &Veena - Am not sure if this was discussed, but did you notice that it that scene where he saves her emabrassment from Hetal and Mangal, Shaan retorts to Hetal , while looking at Khanak that ye pati patni ke beech ki baat hai... Do you remember where this comes from? THat Bhajiya scene where Khaank tells him dont worry no one will know... ye pati patni ke aapas ki baat hai and he wanted to remind khanak that he remembers it and respects that privacy just as much... and for me that stood out...

And yeah about that bit about meri patni banke raho - For me that meant that please stop being DLs bahu or adaa or bai ki bahu or put up the pretence... be what you would be if you were my wife... stand by me... and not others... he needed her support just as much as she needed his... he was being there for her and he made no bones about it... which is sooo freaking commendable... (love bug and attraction aside... it takes a lot for a man to confess that... )and while he trying to set things right for Khanak and be there for her, he needed her support, he wouldnt be able to do it alone...

Tell me how can he be a pati if she isnt willing to play his patni in front of people right? He needed her to understand that... she is doing it now... but because... she is just too stunned to react... but now on... she will be more involved in those situations....
