Sana & Gaayu - Agree there on that over-analysis bit! I am afraid we do... but like sana mentioned, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder... we see the world the way we think inside and what we think makes us who we are...

Diverging slightly... and please do pardon me but I do feel that the forums... like this... allow us to unconsciously put forth all our thinking that we normally wouldnt do face to face... and that thinking also projects our personality to the world out there...and I guess thats why when we connect to people out here.. we do in the real sense.. and not for what they look like or pretend to be...

Connect with thoughts is perhaps what is desired most and that is what we get when we connect to people online... coz its just their thoughts that we are exposed to and nothing else!!

So thank you people... I've met some really really nice people here and its been a pleasure knowing you guys and see the world the way you do!

Yes, pretty significant that! And remember Khanak had her own vaada that she asked of him... its gonna be a clash of Vaadas and then I somehow feel, both of them will not force each other to heed to them... coz the vaadas would relevance by that time...

My favorite dialogue today by Shaan- 'hume aisa hi sochna chaahiye... I mean, karna chaahiye' LOL... He means, he and Khanak should be thinking of each other only:) 😆👍🏼
So true that ! I really liked the way that was said... it so shows, how deep he wanted them to connect and for Shaantanu , all this is no more a facade... the man has taken it real serious and for him it means much ... what he is doing and Khanak's presence amidst it all is a bonus for him... he is setting things right...remember that mangalsutra scene where he sets it right... it has begun to show it significance!

Also another line - "tumhe aisa kyon lagta hai ki ab jaake main tumhaara saath chod doonga" - For me that was the highlight of the entire episode... and just that one line... he said what he felt deep right there through those words... he will stand by her, come what may... 4 months, 6 months are immaterial... the man has decided what is right andhe will follow his heart and not what others have said, like he did in Dhulwaadi... his decisions are taken by him only and not by others... and that we have seen right from day 1...he is no indecisive character.. when he chose to be with Natasha it was his decision, when he chose to get angry , it was his decision, it was not someone else's. Same with Khanak - they chose this together... this life... and they will walk together...they are not forced... lets keep fate aside fora bit here... after she played her part... of taking Suraj away... it was SHaantanu and Khanak who chose from the options they had...majboori and all that is just a way of just consoling themselves that they did the right thing!
👍🏼
M question to Shaan- how exactly do you want Khanak to be your 'patni' for four months? Could you define 'patni' please?😉 I've just answered that in a previous comment, so I will refrain from repeating here... haath dukh rahein hai yaar! LOL

If I may add, I think it was mentioned by Krishna or Gaayu am not too sure ... (read far too many comments andlost track who said what.. so sorry...), about the part where he says "mujhe koi kuch nahin kahega, sab tumhe pareshaan karenge"

I do remember I had made a comment that , this man Shaantanu had his moment of reckoning in Dhulwaadi... he saw a lot more... there than we thought he did... he wasnt too open about it... but he did notice Khanak through all that she has been and he knew he always had an easy way to get out ... but she didnt... she faced a lot more flak than he did...

He faced a no go situation in the end too but that besides the point the trauma that she underwent because of the others was far too much and he knew how it affected the poor girl and her actions... for him the trauma was his own guilt and not what others thought and that is the whole difference and he understood that... it was so obvious in the line that he said...

Dhulwadi or timbaktoo... every person... has a moment of reckoning... a moment where they connect with their innermost selves and Shaatanu had that in Dhulwadi... the incident was not so significant as much as what he saw before and after that incident... atleast what I think... I dont intend to undermine Suraj's death... but SHaantanu had begun to see a lot more even before the marriage and he was taking it all in...and now decisions are so driven by what he saw...

Recollect the scene between him and Natasha during the night that they work on the presentation... Dhulwaadi..mien u shud see Natasha... pani bhi nahin milta logon ko... he had observed so much and he didnt ignore it like any city bred would be expected to!!!

I love the characters of this show have depth to them... and how the CVs have maintained that depth so far...

@gaayu @sana
yeah dears. completely agreee. The television industry is one where there is hardly anytime left for the cvs to plan too much in advace. The pressure is huge on the actors /actresses and actresses especially since considering the fact that they have to change dresses, put on make up ,and are also less stronger physicallly than their male counterparts. And for males also it is quite taxing.
Reg.geet show I felt so sad for Guru bhaiyyaPray to god that he recovers at the earliest completely..
As all of us are aware Gurmeet is extremely popular among young women than geet(no offence meant to geet's(DD)fans..It has to do something with the banking of episodes.Like the girls always want to watch maan there and so one cannot make maan stay from the episodes for a long time. Then the flavour of the show will /may be lost.
hey I have heard that it is highly impossible to stock more than 3-4 episodes because the script is not ready, also sets.,prop, planning, editing, music etc.,take quite some time.,not to mention the shooting time.
but i must say they are covering up well in geet by showing falshback scenes of geet/maan with a nice song in background.Only one fresh scene of maan was shown yesterday
.I also came to know that maan has resumed shooting though for restricted hours. What to do such is an lead actor's condition in the daily soap industry. He cannot even afford to take care of his health.,and has to work for so any hours especially in the night.
But the lead actors sort of know it too well and seem to adapt to things very easily.,to the pressures of daily soap
Btw cannot compare indian industry to american etc.,because there are so many restrictions here on the suject to be shown, the way it has to be shown etc.,And tv reaches the most interior parts of india these days.,and thier likes/dislikes have to be taken into account too.Perhaps that is one of the reason for starone brinigng in women oriented shows like geet,RBOetc.,
i mean the scenario in india and abroad are not the same here nowadays it seems people prefer to watch heavy material., stories on social problems etc., too much whereas abroad it is more light hearted.,or sort of mixture.
Just my views there.

^^ Well said Shriya , and have to agree completely...

television as a medium , with good sensibilities in place, can be used as the perfect platform to get the right messages across to the audience across... the country geography...
And on the flip side, if the creators lose sight of the message they intend to convey, they may even end up promoting the wrong doings and the traditional ways, that hold no water any more.. not all but some definitely...

That way, a show on Colors, does leave little notes at the end of very significant scenes conveying how some of our traditional ways do not hold any water or are totally irrelevant in todays world!!

LOL.. who is Bhau? Don't know. The third show is YPNHK, on Colors (GK and Yami Gautam). It was great initially... now not sure...

KT reminds me of GK in some scenes...

@ Sareeta
As usual, lovely comments... yes, that line was the most important yesterday, from Shaan- 'why do you think I would leave you now'? He is not gonna leave her... if they have to separate, it will be her leaving him for Taashu (just a guess).

Shaan has indeed clearly thought about what he should do, ever since he returned with Khanak. We women do confuse ourselves and those around us sometimes because we try to keep everyone happy. Men, as immature as most of them are, do realise that you can't keep everyone happy, so just do the right thing! Khanak needs to understand that. She cannot keep Suraj's family, Khushboo, Taashu, Shantanu, everyone happy all the time.. she has to choose and she should choose Shaan because he has done the same for her...

U r right abt Dhulwadi having an impact in Shaan's mind. But I do wonder if there was some moment in those 2 days with Khanak, when Shaan had an epiphany and figured that this woman was more than what he thought?

Gaayu - Two days is I think too short for a Guy to have an epiphany... but I guess he did see a lot more of her during that time... or to be more precise... paid attention to her... and her only...

And more so he didnt have to be so cautious about what his family was thinking... he was more worried about doing the right thing... and he was more in touch with himself... so yeah the adventure night... had him connecting with himself again... and everytime he does that... notice Khanak is around... she doesnt drive it, but she isa witness to him evolving from he used to be to what he wants to be ....

Isnt companionship all about being a witness to each other's life, without really intruding... and yet being there... all the time...

Shaantanu has been a witness to Khanak evolving from a love struck happy go lucky girl to being the woman the she is and she will be...

Someone out there knows you for what you are and doesnt question it... for me thats companionship... they are a witness , a witness that accepts you ... for what you are ...and helping along, where needed!

@Gaayu...Shan was a witness to how the ppl of Dulwadi and how Hetal and Mangal treated her after her becoming a widow..the taunts she had to bear when her second marriage was announced, thus he knows what she has been through and how tall she stood agaisnt all the odds. He admired her for that.

@ shriya
agree abt the difference in audience taste in India and the western countries. from Yash Patnaik's interview, looks like things are changing in India too... the industry is maturing slowly.... let's see...
