Ep 145: Khanak makes Mrs. Khandelwal nostalgic

Khanak and Dadi decide to surprise Mr. and Mrs. Khandelwal on their anniversary. Dharam helps Khanak by taking Mrs. Khandelwal to a mall for shopping, for about 3 hours. Mr. Khandelwal is angry with Shantanu for not visiting the factory, and decides that he would not get a new secretary as a punishment. Shantanu tells Akshay that he did not go to the factory as he wanted to be with Khanak. Shantanu brags to Akshay about being able to perfectly handle a wife and work. Shantanu tricks Akshay into going to the factory instead of him, saying that Khushboo would miss him if he does so. Khanak makes Mrs. Khandelwal nostalgic by showing her some old pictures of herself and her husband. Mrs. Khandelwal gets bitter on thinking of how, gradually, work became more important to Mr. Khandelwal than his wife. Khanak encourages Mrs. Khandelwal to look through the photographs and relive old memories again. She is happy to see Mrs. Khandelwal doing so. When Shantanu returns home from office, Khanak tries to talk to him about the anniversary celebrations. Shantanu deliberately tries to avoid her, so as to brag in front of Akshay. Khanak is disappointed. Akshay admires the way Shantanu has his wife under his control. Khanak decides to pacify Shantanu and talk to him about the anniversary celebrations.
