hey everybody,

as we all know vedavati was the false sita( chaaya sita ) who was the cause for ravan's death. Lord vishnu had promised to marry her in the kaliyuga when he would take the incarnation of lord balaji. During the commencement of kaliyuga , all the sages were performing a yaga. They later faced a dilemma regarding which God to offer the sacrifice to out of the trinity ( brahma , vishnu , shiva). At this, narad suggests that they send sage brigu to test each one of the trinity. First sage brigu goes to brahmalok where lord brahma does not notice brigu's presence as he is lost in the melody of godess saraswati's veena. Brigu goes away feeling unwelcome. Then he reaches kailash parvat where lord shiva and parvati are performing ananda tandava. There also nobody takes notice of him and he moves away from there giving a curse to lord shiva saying tht he would only be worshipped in the form of a ling( shiv ling) . Then he finally reaches vaikunthlok where lord vishnu is reclining on the seshnag. Lord vishnu does not open his eyes. An enraged brigu kicks lord vishnu on his chest ( the place where godess lakshmi resides) . Lord vishnu wakes up and instead of getting angry calmly smiles at brigu and tells him tht his feet would be paining as he had to take the pains of kicking him and thus starts pressing the feet of brigu. At this brigu is very pleased and gets the answer as to whom the great yaga should be dedicated to.

After all these happennings godess lakshmi gets angry and says tht her lord had let brigu kick him at the place where she resided. She was even more enraged at the fact tht he pressed his feet instead of punishing him and thus she leaves vaikunth lok. Since godess lakshmi - godess of wealth had left, the lord also became lacklustre and was devoid of all the luxuries. He then came down to the earth roaming about as he could not live without godess lakshmi. A lady by the name - vakula adopted him as her own son and took care of him. She named him Srinivasa . He lived the life of a hunter. One day he passed thorugh a garden where he heard voices of ladies. There he saw padmavati - the princess of tht land. He fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. Padmavati was vedavati incarnate. After narad recommending srinivasa as an eligible suitor , both padmavati and srinivasa were married. Meanwhile godess lakshmi after finishing her penance came to know of the marriage and reached the abode of srinivasa and questioned the lord about padmavati and his marriage. Then the lord reminded godess lakshmi of the ramavtar were vedavati had helped him to destroy ravan and about his promise. From then onwards in tirupathi lord balaji is worshipped with godess padmavati by his side.

hope u all liked the story. Sorry if it's too long and please do reply😊

Story of Vedavati is only a myth not a truth.
Mahalaxmi is Lord Vishnu's beloved consort. She is Mahamaya Mahashakti. Was Ravan that powerful that he could make Laxmi's incarnation (Vedavati) impure? Can any mortal being be that that powerful that he can make Almighty impure? Think over it before believing this false story of Vedavati.

Ravan abducts real Sita. There is no mention if Chaya Sita n LaxmanRekha in Valmiki Ramayan. If the one one who was abducted was Chhaya Sita then for whom Ram lamented? In whose search he was crying n roaming? If the one who was abducted was Chhaya Sita then bemoaning and bewailing of Rama for Seetha, throughout the later part of this epic is mere a hoodwink the readers or so??????? Why Ram said so out of anger when he was searching for Sita " if this River Godavari is not going to tell me immediately about that moonshine-faced Seetha, now I will dry her up... (to mountains)When the infernos of my arrows will burn you down completely and when you will be pared down ashes, you shall be grassless, treeless and tender-leafless, and thus you become a meritless mountain... hence, show Seetha before becoming so.... ..Oh, Lakshmana, will the yaksha-s be comfortable now, no; gandharva-s - no; monsters - no; demons - no; either kinnaraa-s or humans - no, none can be comfortable henceforth... Now the welkin will be packed with my arrows and missiles, and I will render it as an impassable sphere for the treaders in the triad of worlds... I will make the triad of worlds quiescent by completely blockading all the planetary bodies. The night-maker moon will be barricaded, aurae of fire, air and sun will be devastated, and then everything will be overcast with darkness. Mountaintops will be completely pulverised, water receptacles will be dried out, and trees, creeping-plants and shrubberies will be destroyed, and oceans depleted, thus I will bring the triad of the worlds to nought, relative to the task of Time in extinguishing an era...If the gods are not going to safely restore Seetha to me, oh, Soumitri, they can see what my blitzkrieg is, at this very moment... All beings cannot fly high in the sky, oh, Lakshmana, as there will be a labyrinth of my arrows released from my bowstring, minus an intercolumniation. Bombarded with my iron-shafts this world will be put to disorderliness, Lakshmana, you may now witness how the animals and birds will be dazed and devastated...Because of Maithili I will render this mortal world de-demonical, de-phantasmal by force-stretching my unstoppable arrows up to my ears to release them forcefully... Let the gods witness now the impact of the blaze-crested, thoroughgoing arrows of mine, projected by my wrath and released by my irascibility.Whatever worlds of gods, or monsters, or even those of demons are there, they will be splintered and falling down apiece by the fusillades of my arrows...Whether she is abducted, or even if she is killed, oh, Soumitri, if the gods are not going to give back my Seetha I will now jeopardise these worlds with my arrows...If my ladylove is not returned indeed in a fine fettle as she was before my running after Golden Deer, I will be annihilating the triad of world in its entirety, together with its mobile and sessile beings, and I will be sweltering the entire universe with my arrows as long as I am not going to get a glimpse of her."
Laxman then pacifies Ram with reasonable argument in saying that, owing to the felony committed by a single soul, the entire world cannot be put to arrow. He suggests a humanly search is to be conducted first to find him out, who abducted Sita

Ravan abducts real Sita. Ram bewails for real Sita. Nothing happens by mere touching of Sita, for she is a resolute lady to abide by her husband Rama. Forceful touching or fraudulent touching of woman against her will doesn't any way destroys her chasity n purity.
Valmiki has cleary pictured her as a staunch husband-devote, and no more mythological bends are required to prove her chastity.Sita was a very storng lady. She scornfully rejects all proposals of Raavan.
She herself proved her purity by AGNI PRAVESHA. I dont find any necessity of adding this false myths to the main story.

From akhl-Thanks, Coolpurvi. Lots of sentences in your post appeared more than once. This would have confused the readers. Therefore, I have edited your post to remove the duplication.

The main story will become really confusing if we believe in the concept of Chhaya Sita n LaxmanRekha. In Valmiki Ramayan there in no such LaxmanRekha crossed by Sita. Don't u find the story of molesting of Vedavati n Laxman rekha defaming, derogatory. I can't believe such facts abt any incarnation of Mahashakti MaLaxmi.

Ram decides to countermove the whole universe when he didnt finds Sita. He decides to destroy the whole world. Will he take such extreme step for chhaya Sita? Nooooooo
He'll take such step only for real Sita. Though he apprehended happening of something wrong but as he was in human form he was unaware abt Sita's abduction.

Ram's anger no way suggest that one who was abducted was only chhaya Sita n not real Sita n he was aware abt her abduction.I don't know why latter writers have changed some of the facts.

The way Ram got angry because of separation from her, the way he bewailed for her, the way he used to recollect her every moment doesn't anyway suggest that there was any Chaya Sita. In Yudha Kanda also Ram recollected her. He used to keep praying for her wellbeing.

When Hanumaan met Sita he too told her that Ram is recollecting her every moment. He also told her abt Ram's earlier decision of countermoving the whole universe.

I u believe in the concept of chhaya Sita, then many things will become self-contradictory like Ram's anger, his waging war against Raavan, his ireful bewailing for Sita, Naarad's curse etc. If the one who was abducted was Chhaya Sita then bemoaning and bewailing of Rama for Sita, throughout the later part of this epic is mere a hoodwink to the readers ???????
