guys I got some more

Parshurama : word means 'Rama with Parashu'. Parshu means 'axe'. He is a celebrated sage. His original name was Ram. Once his father Jamdhagni got angry with Renuka(Parshurama's mother) n ordered his sons to behead her. But his four sons denied to do the cruel deed. But Parshuram obeyed the order (because earlier he promised his father that he'll obey every order of his father). The deed pacified his father's anger and he desired Parasurama to ask a boon. The kind hearted son begged that his mother might be restored to life which his father readily granted. His mother (Renuka) whose life was restored (by Jamadhagni's TAPOBAL) forgived him but the Parshu(axe) remained sticked to his hands because of that act. He performed TAPASYA in a kund (as he wanted to do PRAYASCHIT). This place became famous as Parshurama Kund (it is in Arunachal Pradesh). Sometime after King Sahasrabahu (a Kshatriya) killed his father when he was not in home. When he returned he made a dreadful vow of exterminating the whole Kshatriya race with his axe n is said to have done so thrice. Once he pierced through Krauncha mountain, being jealous of the might of Kartikeya. He is one of the seven CHIRAJIVINS (deathless) and is believed to be still practising penance on the Mahendra Mountain.

Raghu : The word derived from the word 'Ragh' which means to go. His father named him so because he foresaw that the boy would 'go' to the end of the holy learning as well as of his enimies. He was a "viswajit" king (He was Great-grand father of Ram)

Dushan : The word means corrupting, spoiling, vitiating, defiling, seducing. ( He was one of the general of Ravan n was slain by Ram)

Khar : Hurtful, injurious, hard, rough, solid, severe, sharp, pungent, dense, thick. (Half-brother of Ravana)

Kumbhakarna : the word means "Pitcher-eared". (Younger brother of Ravan. He is said to have devoured thousands of beings including sages and heavenly nymphs and the gods were anxiously waiting for retaliation. He did Tapasya of Brahma to for getting "INDRA PADA". Brahma was pleased n was about to grant him a boon when the gods requested Ma Saraswati to sit on Kumbhakarna's tongue and to pervert it. Accordingly he asked for "NIDRAA PADA" instead of asking "INDRA PADA" n it was readily granted. He slept for six months at a time n used to remain awake only for one day. It is said that he drank 2000 jars of liquor to increase his power during Ram-Ravan war)

Kaalnemi : the word means "the rim of the wheel of time". (Uncle of Ravana, deputed by him to kill Hanuman)

heres sum more -

maarich - a ray of light

sushen- sustainer

nala- a stem , hollow reed'

makaraksh - one with the eyes like that of a crocodile( ravan's nephew and khar's son)

makardhwaj - the 'flag' or symbol of a crocodile ( its an amusing meaning)..but makaradhwaja was the guard at ahi-ravana's palace and is supposed to be the son of hanuman ..he was born because when hanuman was fighting with the crocodile on his way to get the sanjeevani herb a small drop of his sweat entered the crocodile's body- who was an apsara and that gave rise to makaradhwaja 😊

sulochana- one with beautiful eyes , she is indrajeet's wise wife..she was considered to be a very knowledgable and scholarly woman. she is also 'seshnag's' ( adisesha's) daughter..now isnt that interesting?? lakshman is an incarnate of aisesha and his 'daughter' was married to indrajeet..😆

The word 'VEEBHEESHAN' is made up fo two words 'Vee' and 'BHEESHAN'. Sanskrit prefix 'Vee' means disjuction, division, opposite, negation. And BHEESHAN means terrific, dreadful, horrible, frightening. Therefore 'VEEBHEESHAN' means a person devoid of any dreadfulness. Veebhishan was born with soft n saintly looks that why he was named so by his father.

(sometimes 'Vee' also means order, arrangment or distinction(special)

The meaning of VeeBheeshan was not given in my dictionary. I searched separately for 'Vee' and 'Bheeshan' and inferred the meaning. Do tell whether it is correct.
