on sundays episode of Ravan, they showd sister of Ramji- shanta.
She sacrificed her life for father and ayodhya and married Rishi
Shringi. As rishi shringi was pleased by her and wanted to marry her
else will not perform putrakameshthi yagya. Dashrathji refused
his proposal as shanta - a raj-kanya and how she can manage her life in ashram but she sacrified her life and accepted life of ashram. GR8888888888888 family.
dont know why this fact hasnt been revealed yet. this is the first time m hearing of sister. plz update me more , if anyone knew more related to it.

Wow they actually showed her? Finally?! 😲 I never thought she'd be mentioned in any serial, considering that she has always been ignored on TV and almost always in the movies (I think somebody mentioned her being shown in an old movie but that's a rare occurrence). Nice! 😊

It's unfortunate that nobody uploaded the video. 😔

ravan makers r showing all the stuff tht ha snot been shown in any mythological shows related with RAMA OR LORD VISHNU !!!!

in VISHNU PURAN ALSO i think shanta is not mentioned !!!! in vishnu puran there r details of every avatar LORD VISHNU TOOK !!

Shanta was born much before Ram. In fact Shanta's husband was the one who did the yajna after which Dashrath's four sons were born.

there r diff articles , some say , she met dashrathji during yagya n introduced herself as their daughter, coz some rompad adopted her when she was very young.
But y didnt dashrathji brought herup. idont like this, even kunti mother of pandavs story is like this. daughter of some n was adopted by other.

Romapad wanted a daughter. He was Dashrath's friend. Dashrath was interested in having a son, who could rule over Ayodhya after him. When Shanta was born, then Romapad requested Dashrath to give Shanta to him. Dashrath did the same.
