In the Himalaya, a river is named after Sage Vyasa. The river is called Byaas and flows from Vyas Kund to the plains (if I remember correctly). I heard that Sage Vyasa meditated and dictated the Mahabharat near the Vyas Kund.
The river Byaas flows through Manali.
Does anyone know more about this?
