Aishwarya, I started this thread as a joke. Thanks for the suggestions but I am not a student. I am a grown-up woman with a grown-up kid. 😆 Seriously, do I sound like a student online? Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😆

We are discussing Gurmi as Mr. Darcy now. I just think if Gurmi understands the character of Mr. Darcy he will act it well. He is a very good actor and can do any role. It will be great if he does some comedy roles too.

Well, if someone really is suffering from Ramayan Withdrawal, I'd suggest watching Jai Shri Krishna on Colors. It is really a very sweet show and everyone acts soooooo well in it!😊 It is also one of the Sagars' most accurate serials.

By the way, I wonder if Gurmeet would be good as Mr. Wickham.😉 He should after all do an "evil" role and Mr. Wickham is supposed to be very handsome.

Now, this is one brilliant idea. Gurmi will make a great Mr. Wickham. It would be good to see him in a negative role after Ramayan. (I would like to see Vijay Bhatia in a negative role too. He does a number of goody-goody roles. It will be nice to see him as a villian for a change). Actually, here are a few changes:

Mr. Bingley: Vijay Bhatia
Jane Bennet: Dhanyamalini
Mr. Wickham: Gurmi Choudhary

Mr. Hurst: Ankit Arora (actually Mr. Hurst is not all that old; let's make him even younger)
Mrs. Hurst: Meenakshi, our Urmila
Caroline Bingley: Surphanaka
Mr. Bennet: Akilendra Mishra
Mrs. Bennet: I think Sumitra mata will do this role well
Mr. Gardiner: Vibhishan
Mrs. Gardiner: Kausalya mata
Mrs. Phillips: Kaikeyi
Mr. Phillips: Vali.sugreev guy (he can drink his Vali cocktails 😆)
Mary Bennet: Mandavi

i m laughing my head off at the suggestions above

btw i forgot who was mr bingley in pride and prejuidice

mr darcy has been my fav always

rich arrogant tall handsome

this role shud suit prafull sure

and abt gurmeet hmm let me remember who else he can do

see these actors need to come out of the image they hv created in this serial

gurmeet as ram wud be seen as ram so he has to do total contrast character

like praful his role of indrajeet was anti hero sort of aggressive but here as zamindar is sober role and kind role so its total contrast

but i m stil enjoyin the above cast

we shud put forward this suggestions but where i m clueless

I adore Mr. darcy alot and same way Gurmeet😳
and regarding for negative role
i have one more superb option
make him do the role of aurangzeb
he was nothing less than osamabin laden of that time...
then we will surely love to hate him...
di gurmeet has done his lifetime role of Lord rama..
so nothing less than this will be acceptable...
and aurangzeb is just opposite to the image of lord ram
so i seriously wanna see him doing the bestest villain role,.. not any regular or just grey shade role...
there also he should be in lead
no one else...
if we want to see versatility in him then he should be given best of the role...

we gurmanian's have tht m,uch faith on him but that should have desi version but no compromise with the story
ohhh god i would love to see Gurmeet and debina walking in the fields and talking with each other how romantic will it be
