Valmiki's linga was installed in a remote portion of the forest that only he knew about, and which K-L stumbled upon by accident. So it's perfectly normal for Rama's spies not to have caught that.

Besides, I believe that rulers may have respected the privacy of rishis in their kingdoms, so unless a rishi revealed something to a king about his ashram, he may not have known it.

Turns out - you were right. Tomorrow, after everyone is done voting, they'll be showing the commencement of hostilities with Lavanasura. On the bright side, Ramayan seems like it will be back on track - some 8 years after it's supposed to have.

Luv Kush get swarna kamal, return to ashram and are received by Sita

Today, in one episode, Kush & Luv go through the final tests, where they are tempted by the luxuries of a palace, and haunted by hands sticking out of a cave. Finally, they are received again at the other end by Kubera and Hanuman, and get the swarna kamal. In the meantime, at the ashram, Sita and others are worried that it's full moon and they may not hit the deadline. Kush too worries about it as he sees the full moon rise. Both of them are depressed, but Hanuman assures them that he'll return them on time, and does. On hearing the news, Sita is overjoyed and rushes to them and greets them. That's where the episode ends.

The bad thing: after all these weeks, today's episode seemed rushed. I know that few will complain, but the consistency is just not there. Just look at the #episodes spent on the moh section alone, and contrast that with today, when they go thru 2 out of 3 tests (unless the moh and greed were this time combined).

The good thing: the swarna-kamal saga is finally over. [WHEW!!!!]
