As we discussed in the Doubts & discussions thread and other daily update threads, the Sagars are missing the real meaning of both what Vidhi ka Vidhan is, as well as what moh is.

Vidhi ka Vidhan is a term of resignation used to paper over past mishaps and tragedies, like, say, Dasharath's accidental killing of Shravan Kumar. It's not a fatalistic philosophy used to justify letting somebody sleepwalk to disaster (or else, Ravan, for example, could have told Mandodari that keeping Sita as long as he lived was Mr Vidhi's Vidhan). By overusing the term in this serial, the Sagars have made a mockery of the concept, and given us ammunition to make fun of them.

Same thing with Moh. As Akhl described, it implies excessive/obsessive attachment to someone or something. It does not mean total abdication of all desires. Me wishing to have a job to maintain my family is not moh, but that's the idea one would get seeing this serial.

A part of me is actually wondering whether some atheists who do not appreciate these concepts are writing the scripts, and who like this opportunity to denigrade Hindu gods? This is particularly borne out by your point #6 about Shiva & Hanuman being uncharacterestically mean to a couple of kids, who were by no means divine kids, despite being the kids of Rama & Sita.

At that time, since the Sagars were also mixing in mainstream versions of Ramayan, like Tulsidas, Kamban and others who did not include Uttarkand in their versions, it looked more normal. But think about some major deviations that even they had - like a month of Rama & Lakshman asleep during the Ahi-Mahi saga. Add to that the period that Kumbhakarna fell asleep in the battlefield, Kaikeyi asking Sumantra to send Yudhajit to invade Lanka, the episode of the death of Shurpanakhas son Shambri, et al. Sometimes, the Sagars did make it interesting, like peppering Aranya-kanda with an ongoing war between Khar/Dushan and Rama/Lakshman before the Shurpanakha appearance, and having Shurpanakha attempting to sabotage Agastya's yagna. But a careful recollection of what the Sagars showed before this reveals about as cavalier an attitude as now.

Only that at the time, the Sagars had Tulsidas, Kamban, Vyasa, Krittivas, et al to trump Valmiki, whereas now they seem to have only the Ananda Ramayan and Adhyatma Ramayan to trump Valmiki, and so this is what they are doing.

The other thing - with wierdo characters like Vikat, Durmukh, Takshasura, Surasura, Hanuman's wierdass disguises, Chakrasura, and now this jail Luv is in, I'm now feeling nostalgic for Karkati, of all people😲 You know things are really bad when that happens!!!😆

Hehehe, agree with all of you, Khal, Chatter and Rajnish!😆 When Mr. Vidhi and Sagars finish testing all of us and the kids, may be we can get the real story for the ending! I would have gotten the swarnakamal myself for Luv and Kush if I had known about all these tests. But Chatter reminded me that Mr. Vidhi would have administered all these tests to me. So I chickened out at the last minute, and let the kids try instead, hahhaa!😆😆

I've decided to adapt the masochistic attitude of the amazon Sita, as depicted in this serial. Like the next time I acheive something, such as hit a milestone, instead of the usual online gifts that we give each other - siggie pics, videos, et al - I'm going to ask for Mr Vidhi like tests. And I want you and others to give me vachans that you'll give me such tests. I want to increase my glory by excessive self-mortification, so help me do it🤣🤣🤣
