Given the unknown plotlines, are you finding it boring?
The question above didn't say much, so let me explain!
Anybody who's read the original Valmiki knows that there is the simple case of Rama exiling Sita to Valmiki's ashram, Sita having her kids and Shatrughan being present at their naming, Shatrughan killing Lavanasura, Rama holding his Ashwamedha yagna, K-L musically reciting the Ramayan in court, Sita taking her oath and so on.
Then there are those other stories that vary in detail, but essentially have K-L capturing the Ashwamedha horse and battling Rama's army. The accounts that have this generally don't have them singing the Ramayan.
However, this Ananda Sagar Ramayan has stories none of us ever read anywhere, like Karkati's alliance with Lavanasura, Sita volunteering exile, all 4 brothers having twins, Sita treating her babies rugged in the beginning, the kids handling snakes, poking arrows into rakshasha noses, having rakshashas scratch themselves with poison ivy, and so on.
In the meantime, none of the stories we are familiar with so far have surfaced, which then has one wondering where this story is headed, and how far. Given all that, my question above:
Are you finding all this boring?

Yes, for me the serial is getting boring...but still I'm watching it hoping that it'll get better and some proper stuff will be shown, rather than 'fictionalizing' Ramayana.
Thats why I still hoped 😃 that, atleast stories from Valmiki Ramayan will be shown in bits n pieces.
I dunno. If they are following Ananda Ramayan, I'd rather that they show that, instead of mixing it up with bits & pieces of the others. (Okay, okay, I'm glad they didn't show Rama asking Lakshman for Sita's hand🤢) That way, at least there is a referrable text that one can consult.
Also, if they follow Ananda Ramayan and show Rama getting back Sita after she goes underground, I may not mind that too much, given all the other distortions they've smuggled in. Maybe the Sagars have a happy ending in mind, and therefore chose to show it this way.🤔
Looks like they'll be showing this sorta stuff for 12 years (the period of Sita's exile) before they get to the Ashwamedha yagna.
MY FATHER EVEN SAID THAT IT IS BORING AN HE EVEN MENTIONED THAT IF GURMEET IS THERE IT IS HIT BUT WHEN THEY DONT SHOW HIM IT IS BORING....AND GURMEET IS THE BEST AND WHEN HE IS THERE RAMAYAN IS TOP IN TRP'S.
Well, today's episode, for instance! Seeing Rama, Lakshman, Urmila, their kids, Kaushalya, Sumitra, et al is out of the question. Instead, we get treated to poor Luv pricking his foot, and the 2 of them rescuing a goat.🤔
Outstanding sense of priorities!
