I can understand a brother in law's anguish but this was quite surprising.

Yeah, that's one of the really egregious distortions of this episode.😡😡😡

In reality, it was Lakshman who left Sita near Valmiki's ashram, and breaks that news to her. Sita is not the one who updates Lakshman on events, and then like a martyr on steroids, ask him to dump her in the woods. And after Lakshman returns, he comforts Rama and tells him that everything in life is temporary, and that he should abandon his attachments and move on.

If Lakshman thought that what Rama was doing was adharma and wanted to abandon Rama for this, how difficult would it have been to follow through? He'd have left Sita near Valmiki's ashram, and on Sita refusing to let him serve her, he'd have taken Urmila and retired to the forest or gone elsewhere - he was not bound to remain in Ayodhya. This storyline is absolutely not making sense.😕

In fact, what they showed last night wasn't Rama exiling Sita, but Sita abandoning Rama. WTF????😡

P.S. No updates last night? So now we're getting neither unofficial updates from Sita nor official ones from Tan/Akhl/Rajnish?

I thought that it was raam who told lakshman to take sita into the forest and not sita telling lakshman. 😕 I am not even sure if sita's sister knew anything about this. 😕

You thought right!!! Don't believe the Sagars just because they've put their stuff on TV, while you & I can't. I hate it when they are wholesale arrogating to themselves the role of Valmiki (sans sheltering Sita).😡

Fully agree with you. No, I don't think this Sita would go back - she's out to prove to the world that she's the ultimate martyr, and won't stop until she goes under.😕

Maybe someday, I should re-write the Ramayan😈😈😈 - particularly the Uttarkand. If all these people can do it, so can I. All I need is sell someone the movie rights, so that people will hold my version in the same authentic mode as Valmikis,😈😈😈 just as people now do with Sagar - either old or new - here. A good cast, and serial, and I'll be up and running. Hey, I'll even toss in enough of the other bros & bahus, so that everyone will have their hearts warmed and cite me when they want to discuss, say, Bharat & Mandavi's relationship. 😆😈😆😈😆
