Sita
They showed that in Bajrangbali as well - her wanting to jump into the Tamsa, but Valmiki stopping her.
But in the original Valmiki, Sita does not try to kill herself. Instead, she tells Lakshman that had it not been for the fact that she was pregnant, she would have ended her life. Here, in today's episode, they show her threatening to end her life if Rama doesn't exile her. The real Sita would never have done that, as I mentioned above.
I read Mandodari, but I don't get what the Sagars are trying to do here? Sita's strength had already been amply demonstrated by her rejections of Ravan - nothing like that is needed here any more. I also don't like their inserting Sunaina into this - it's not there in the original, and had it been, Rama might have determined that it made sense.
After all, how did this exile happen? Sita had chosen to visit some rishis, and Rama asked Lakshman to leave her near Valmiki's ashram, taking advantage of the fact that she'd be going there anyway. So had she been going to Mithila, similar thing would have happened - she'd just have been left there, with Lakshman asking Janak to take care of her indefinitely. So I don't think that the plots, had they followed these scripts, would have played out that way.
