Thanks Sita for the wonderful update.

I had another question. Previously, they showed only the men traveling and the women staying home. Kaushalya, Kaikeye, and Sumintra did not come to the wedding of Ramji and the brothers. Now they are showing Sunaina coming to Ayodhya to meet with Sita and the other sisters. Is it okay for the queen of Mithila to travel to Ayodhya now? Why the change? Also, in which version of Ramayan is this from or are the Sagars just following the Indian custom for the birth of the first born? In the Valmiki Ramayan there is no mention of Janak and Sunaina in the Uttarkhand in relation to Sita's pregnancy.

I didn't see your post when you apparently had 'Sulochana' mentioned instead of 'Sunaina', or else I'd have joked that after a year with having a rakshashi Mata Trijata, Sita now has a real rakshashi mother... 😛 But never mind.

I didn't like today's storyline at all: not only did it not happen, but had it in reality happened, it would have given Rama an honorable pretext to send Sita away - send her on a routing visit to Mithila on the occasion of her pregnancy, and not have her back. It's because such an option wasn't there that he asked Lakshman to leave her near Valmiki's ashram.

I also hated the storyline shown (I think in the precap) about Sita threatening to end her life if Rama didn't get rid of her 😡: the real Sita didn't, and would never have forced that on him. In fact, Sita never interfered with affairs of the state - she left it to him. Had Rama decided not to exile Sita, it wouldn't have happened - she certainly wouldn't have been the one to force the issue.

Great Update Sita.👏👏👏

Acting wise, Gurmeet and Debina rocked😃, but I'm a bit disappointed with the weak character the Sagars have given to Ramji.😕😒 In the Old Ramayan, they also portrayed Ramji's character as weaker than Sitaji's, but in this one, I feel that they're making it even weaker. I hope they make Ramji look stronger later on, like a valiant King of the Raghukul.

New Sunaina actress is pretty. Can someone post a pic of her?

I did not like the storyline either. According to the Sagar interview recently, the Sagars said they wanted to show Sita as a strong woman. I guess that is the reason for this storyline. I have a problem also if the original is tampered with too much. This changes the whole concept of dharma. The reason for Sita being sent to Valmiki's ashram is because Rajya dharma takes precedence over pati dharma. You are correct. This whole storyline of the Sagars makes the dharma argument pointless.

folks after reading mallikas thread ,i think i shd also not post the summary of the episode

as the updaters of the forum might not b liking tht (except ananya) & i really don't want to make any one unhappy , so from tomorrow onwards i will not post the summary of the show i will simply write my take abt the episode ,what i like & what i disliked in this thread !!!

@ chandraketu ,i edited my mistake

& as far as i know sitaji was totally unaware of her banishment ,its lakshman who informs sitaji in the jungles tht Ramji has left her ,sitaji was so shocked tht she tried to end her life by jumping into the tamsa river which flows near the valmiki ashram,rishi valmiki comes & save sitajis life ,this was shown in the movie sampurna ramayan !!!
