Ananya

As Maharani, she was in court daily.

I love Hanuman, and would never dream of making fun of him, but re: the sindur, okay, it's fine if he smears himself with just sindur, but sindur + ghee???? Yuck!!! 😲That smell alone would be such a turn-off!!! 😵Also, while everyone in court, including Bharat, was smirking, they didn't show Lakshman's expression at all - I'd have loved to see it.

Karkati is now p___ing me off - the way she knocked that thali off the hands of her receptionist😡 Also, everything here seems to revolve around her. (Had she been around Ravan, instead of Mandodari, he'd always have been encouraged, instead of being demoralized by Mandari's weeping all the time i.e. Ravan deserved her more than he deserved Mandodari.) I agree - Shurpanakha was a princess in contrast!

Another boo-boo here - Ravan and Kumbhakarna were Mamashri's of Lavanasura, and therefore, Karkati would be his Mami, not his bhabi, no? Yet, they portray him as addressing her as his sis-in-law.

Also, this is a big distortion - Lavanasura never had any designs on Ayodhya, and in fact, in 7-68, actually told Shatrughan when confronted that Ravan was his Mama, Raam had killed his whole Vansh, but he did not say anything.(Ananya, can you confirm this in 7-68?) Had Lavanasura made any attempts to invade Ayodhya, he'd have definitely killed everyone in the Raghukul and ended the dynasty, given that he had Shiva's trishul, which in this case would not have desisted from killing Rama, given that Shatrughan's strategy was to preempt him from getting it.

P.S. I hate the Sagar priorities of putting Karkati ahead of UMS.

I would have used valmikiramayan.net, but they don't have it. I checked out hindunet.org - is there an English translation of these verses, like in valmikiramayan.net?

Just saw the day's episode.. LOL on Lavanasur......My lil daughter saw him and said "Boys laam rubberband poda koodaathu illa?" (Boys shouldn't wear rubberband, right?) She thought those beads to be rubberbands, and I was laughing on the whole. He was such a comedy.

And Karkati probably missed her classes when the lesson on decency was taught. She threw the arti thali as if it was her own home. (But still, I've not seen any lady throwing the arti thali). That was a bit too much. Given the fact that Lavanasur DID NOT KNOW that RKI were no more, it is but natural for him to welcome his BHABHI. (Oh well if RKV are his Mousere Bhai, Karkati is ofcourse his Bhabhi.....)

BAJRANGBALI KI JAI. Very nice and innocent, but still as Chandra said Ghee? 😲, could have used water😊. And where does he go to search for the sindoor? Any idea what room its called?
And did all queens (primary queens in case of others) go to the Rajyasabha as Sita does?

Your girl is really brilliant👏

Yeah, I just can't stand Karkati anymore - she's such a brat!

Also, where exactly does Hanuman find so much sindur to smear himself from head to toe😃 Does he shrink to the size of the container, and if that's the case, when he expands back, doesn't the sindur+ghee (yuck again) come off? Or does it increase with him😕😕 Actually, Hanuman looked like he had someone paint him with Asian paint, and the color looked more crimson than vermillion, which is the color of sindur.😆😆

Looks like the primer coat wasnt done properly....😉. Probably the ghee changed the shade from vermillion to crimson. Bcoz in powder form it was vermillion color.
And thanks Chandra, my daughter is like me😃

mama mAtR^iShvasurbhrAtA rAvaNo nAma rAkShasaH . hato rAmeNa durbuddhe strIhetoH puruShAdhama----- verse 14

Lavanasur hulrs abuses at Shatrughna and Ram,indirectly:

My mother's brother ,a rakshasa, Ravana by name was brutally killed by that malignant Rama and that too for the sake of his woman/wife.

This clarifies that Ravan was Lavasur's maternal uncle.

Good that your kid found it funny and she was very right.....and clever .jus like u😉

Actually beeswax was used to make Sindoor ,a paste like so that it stays on forehead and/or in-between the partitioned hair where Sindoor is applied; maybe they'd made Hanuman use that.
