Yes, I too looooooooooooooooooove the old Ramayan very much as well as BR Chopra's Mahabharat!❤️ I never saw the old Shri Krishna serial, but Aradhana did do she may be able to answer your question. However, I heard that it never got finished or something. Not sure. Aradhana and I started a Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna Photo Gallery in the Jai Shri Krishna forum, so if you like, you can look at that too.😳

i had watched almost all episode of sri krishna. it showed many stories in details, mostly from bhagwatam, mahabharat, garg samhita, brahm vavrat puran and many more. It lasted till krishn grandson marrying daughter of demon king vanasura( son of shiv ) krishn fight with vanasura . then in brif it told what happened after that. and ended😊

No, they did not show Ahi Mahi story in the old Ramayan. I think the reason was that the Ahi/Mahi story is not written in many Ramayans and not all cultures of India believe in it. And no, they did not show Makharadwaj, because his appearance is in Ahi/Mahi track, and if they did not show that, how would they show Makaradwaj?
The reason that the older Ramayan did not show too many background stories like this Ramayan is that it aired every Sunday. People would lose their interest if the older Ramayan was too dragged. Imagine if this Ramayan was aired once a week. We would lost interest if the main Ramayan story was dragged. It's different when it airs everyday.

Which version of the Ramayan does this Ahi - Mahi Story come up (In Kirtivaas Ramayan)? I know the original story had only one demon named Ahiravan (or in some verisons Mahiravan).
Besides, the new Ramayan aired in Tamil (by Sun TV) is shown every Sunday (only) from 10:30am to 11:30 am - Ram and Lakshman had reached Rishyamukh Parvat, befriended Sugreev and the last that was showed was Sugreev speaking about Vali's fight with Mayaavi and him (Sugreev) sealing the cae with a stone. Ramayan is also telecast in Telugu and Malayalam. Gemini TV - Monday to Friday at 07:00 pm - In the last episode, Lakshman had been hit by Indrajeet's Shakthi. Today they will show Ram grieving over Lakshman. In Malayalam - I think Atikay's death was the last episode - Its 2 episodes behind Gemini. This is shown in Surya TV - 06:30 pm from Monday to Friday. All these are the Indian timings - I'm not sure if this is the same in other countries too.

Yeah, it would be great to know in which version Ahi-Mahi are mentioned??

Also, there is Chandrasena as well who wanted Shri Ram as her husband.

I have read this Anhi-mahi story in Ramayan but it wast Valmiki or Tulsidas Ramayan but just some other version. there it is mentioned bout makardhavaj etc.

I do not know which version Ahi Mahi were mentioned. In fact, I learned about them the first time through this Ramayan only. I also never knew about Chandrasena.
