u know in Srilanka,

surpanakha is called as "suparnika"..nice name right ?😳

suparna means garuda...donno what suparnika means

and as per Srilankan tales...suparnika's only fault was that she doubted the intention of ram and lakshman were not good coz they were in hermit clothes but with all arms and weapons...and she questioned them about it..and lakshman cut her nose...

dandkarnya forest was governed by Ravan as is shown and princess suparnika was his sister..so she suspected ram and lakshman's real intentions and confronted them

How is the actress who plays Shurpanakha? I haven't seen the episode yet so don't know. Have they shown her face?

I only watched the opening parts..rest of it sounded boring so quit...But I have happy tears they showed the silent tears that misted Lakshman's eyes talking about Urmila😭

na u should watch...especially the scene where lakshman walks alone at night...

and also check out surpankha..ya but her face is not revealed yet...

they purposely dragged the epi I feel so that all watch it to see who is surpanaka next week

similarily , the convo of khar n dushan was another filler...dushan irritates me to no end wenever i see his white washed face i wanna drink his BLOOOD !!!!!😡

and another thing...lakshman khada dekhta reh gaya...when dushan came behind ram sita..😲 i toh didnt get at whom agatysa aimed arrow i cant even see dushan coming behind too rushy...😕

...I donno all the agastya stuff was over the top...as ram said.."apni prashansha karwaana chahte hai" 🥱 parrot ...🥱 and they had to mess the rishi agatysa scene becoz in the original soruce it was lakshmana who found rishi agatysa asharam and he was the one who met rishi agatysa there is wonderful conversation between them, abhi lakshmana tha to this ramayana had to twist it they dont consider lakshmana important 😡

ab toh am sure they will show full family history of jatayu in next episode.. be prepare supernakha nose will be scratched by rama or sitaji

with this pace ..will they finish in 74 episodes..? who cares 🥱

yes, I'm not familiar with the name of Surpanakha..We call her Suparnika

"According to Ramayana Rawana, the King of Sri Lanka abducted princess Seetha the beautiful wife of Prince Rama, in retaliation for Luxhmana's (brother of Rama) barbarous act of cutting off the ears and the nose of Suparnika (Rawana's younger sister), much more older than three of them but extremely beautiful, who questioned why they were dressed as hermits but still carry arms and the above was the answer by Luxhmana.

Did Luxhmana behave as a true Khastriya? It was Luxhmana's behaviour that made Rawana to retaliate by abducting Seetha. It should be noted that Dandakaranaya was governed by King Rawana and Princess Suparnika was his sister.

However, Rawana's younger brother Vibishana opposed Rawana, as the correct move was to punish Luxhmana and not abducting Rama's wife Seetha. Even Kumbhakarna advised Rawana to send Seetha back to Rama but Rawana was arrogant and held that Lakshmana must be punished for his cold-blooded behaviour. Vibishana held that it was against the civilised values of their royalty to abduct another's wife. Rawana's self-centred behaviour forced Vibishana to stand by the civilised values of his clan, and help Rama to get his wife back. Vibishana's behaviour proves that the royalty of Lanka were more civilised than Khastriya Luxhmana. "

I think so...even geesh used to say her least fav character earlier was laxman...right geesh..??? but donno what is the general outlook...

hmmm.. I liked him BUT he was my least fav character..

There are lots of tales about Ravan and his family but I don't know much about them..
