@arti..i agree ..casting is brilliant this time but what is the use of such a cast when everything else fails...there is a limit where actors alone can pull out a show..i just want CV's to take their job seriously...

in my opinion...all were good..but lookwise and physique wise Gagan has edge over others.

i guess he just quoted the exact words of the compliments he got which i think is fair enough.

Sorry but if he heamt this, then it is Such a Rude and Unprofessional Way to Reply. He Should respect Each and Everyone who has Done Ram and should Learn Something from them to Grow better,

Well i feel everyone is taking his reply in wrong sense..he just quoted some other person who complimented him...and may be that person must have not seen NDTV ramayan...

I Agree that Some Fans might have Said this to Him, But What the Point here is, Was it necessary to mention this thing in a Public Interview?

And I think what People Say infornt of Others only Decides their Attitude , RIght?

I mean Regardless of what his Fans Said him, he can also appreciate both actors saying Comparisons SHould Not happen, dont he?

He should not boycott Gurmeet in his reply when the interviewer was sking bt both actors

i guess he said we should not compare actors at all ...and he was not diplomatic enough and gave honest compliment which he got ... and i feel we cant judge his attitude based on this...

We are not comparing actors Neeli. Where did comparison with Arun Govil or Gurmeet come in? We are only expressing our displeasure with Gagan for what he said. Perhaps we cannot judge his attitude based on this one article, but what he said was certainly unprofessional. The interviewer did not ask him what fans said to him. He/she asked him about what he thought of Arun Govil and Gurmeet, and he smoothly sidestepped her question by telling her that people "told" him that after Arun Govil, people like him best as Ram. I find it hard to believe that any of his fans could have formed an opinion on him from just two episodes of Ramayan, because it's still very early, so I doubt if people even said that to him. But if they did, it was totally irrelevant saying this in an interview and makes him seem very proud.

Not only that, he keeps comparing himself to Mohit Raina. He's mentioned already twice before how "everyone" says he looks exactly like Mohit Raina. Before I did not give this much thought, but now I'm wondering whether Gagan is kind of seeking attention by attaching himself to Mohit Raina's popularity. He needs to proove himself as Ram by doing justice to the role. Constantly comparing himself to actors like Arun Govil or Mohit Raina, and being disrespectful to the work Gurmeet Choudhary did before him is not what will earn him name and fame.I'm sorry if this comes across as harsh, but I'm totally put off by Gagan's attitude. This has nothing to do with other actors. I would have respected and appreciated him had he been humble about the fact that he's the third actor playing Ram and two others did so before him.

But if you see the article..it is the interviewer who is asking him if he looks like mohit or not..?So he had to reply if it is explicitly asked. They devoted one whole question for that.
and then they manipulate his words and have given totally misleading title to the whole article/interview. IF always does that.

In fact he said..he does not think he looks like that. I find him to be extremely honest in his answers. In the previous article also its the media ppl who are comparing him with mohit and not the other way round.
