Jayesh visiting a woman in a slum? I know he has debt problems, but how would any woman in any slum be of any use to him? Or, despite is problems, is he in a compromised position where he has to talk a slum woman into or out of doing something?

I used to think that as the hubby of the eldest of the sisters, Jayesh would be a sorta rallying point if ever the sisters were in trouble. But he looks knee deep himself.

LMAO! *scratches head*

WHY is Jayesh going to meet a woman in the slum?! *gasps* Are they trying to show a track for some absurd adultery committed by Jayesh? Because even I wouldn't buy that! That guy is too simple and cares too much for his family. Then what? He goes there as her well wisher? Out of guilt or out of force?

*sigh*

*adds one more mystery to the list*

I really want to know who this woman is now!! 😆

Hoo, boy!!!! The reason Sakshi's kids were put out of class was this question - when a baby is born, how does one know whether it's a boy or girl??? 😆🤣 Even daddy Aditya was suppressing his laughter 😆

And I loved Aditya coolly just asking mom to answer their question. When the younger one asked why the teacher couldn't answer that as simply as mommy did (girls cry and guys don't), daddy coolly told them that teacher doesn't lie as easily as mom. On being taxed about his misdeeds, Aditya tells her that he once asked why guys can't wear mini-skirts to school like girls can, for which he was slapped. Sakshi warns him never to hit them, and that she would lovingly explain everything to them. And asks them to ask her any questions before she asks teacher. (I can see this causing trouble later)

Okay, I'll probably not have much new to say in today's (Aug 3rd) episode as far as Yuvraj goes, but I just loved Shradhya today. She's @ Savita's place, and is helping get Savita's kids ready for school. Rohit calls, and Savita answers, and then leaves the room after handing the phone over to Shradhya. Rohit re-iterates his demand that Shradhya get those papers signed, and asks her whether she's informed her sisters. Shradhya for once perks up and tells him that she'll neither sign it herself, nor ask her sisters to sign. 👏 Saying this, she slams the phone, leaving Rohit shocked. 👏

I hope Shradhya follows up by sending Rohit a divorce notice. I want him out of her life, and let her start afresh. Maybe sell that house of her dad's, and buy a new one, and settle there. This is particularly necessary since her FIL wants Rohit to go w/ his mom and pressurize her. A divorce from Shradhya will give sasurji a much needed stroke. Also, Rohit's mom looks like she has a conscience, and doesn't approve of Shradhya being ill-treated, but doesn't stand up to either Rohit nor her hubby.

But yeah, I just loved seeing Shradhya so self assertive, and not a doormat like we've seen in every other serial!!!

LMAO! Dude the kids had me in splits! I loved how they had their heads hung in shame in the very beginning of the scene - I almost died because of the cuteness factor of that act! And then I love how Aditya enjoyed every minute of this conversation while Sakshi struggled with the best way to make sense of this.. 🤣 This kids are the most adorable things ever, God Bless their little hearts! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

And Shradha! OMGOMGOMG! I almost fell off my chair when I saw that - she totally gave it back to Rohit! Ainda yahan is barey mein baat karne k liye phone na karna! You tell him girl!! I almost pumped an air fist too! I hope they don't show her having to "pay" for this comment of hers. Just because she's a self-respecting and assertive female doesn't mean she needs to be punished. For once I'd like to see her not have to face repercussions for this (again, my comments are directed to the CVs and how they handle this track - and not the character it self)..

Facing repercussions means what - not being allowed back into the house? I want Shradhya to take the initiative, and drive it to its logical end - initiate divorce proceedings, so that that greedy FIL of hers will have no power over her. Also, today, Sakshi is to visit Savita & Shradhya, while Rohit's father asked him to go to Shradhya and make the demand in face. So I hope Shradhya brings Sakshi & Savita up to speed on what's really going on, and tell them that she's not turning anything over and she's leaving this marriage, and that she wants their help in transitioning out of marriage and being independent on her own.

By repercussions I meant, her going back with Rohit and then being "tortured" for her "attitude". I want her to put her food down, be an assertive and independent woman entirely. I don't just want yesterday's comment to be a one time thing - that the minute Rohit shows up with his mother Shradha folds and goes home with him. THAT is going to piss me off. I hope they show the track in a realistic manner, with Shradha going to the sisters like you said and being supported out of this abusive marriage. There are several ways Rohit can make life hell for her and be a part of a show without her having to be married to him - in case they are worried about Mazhar not having a substantial enough role to play should they divorce.

One piece of trivia - last night, Savita greeted Sandhya in Marathi, and Sandhya responded in Hindi.

If they want to lend a Marathi flavor to this, they should either have the non-Marathi actresses pick up on this, or have the semi-Marathi conversations b/w the Marathi knowing actors, or else, it seems contrived. In the cast, Savita (Bhairavi Gupte) and Shradhya (Sonali Nikam) are the ones who know Marathi, so maybe have them sometimes switch to Marathi while talking to each other. Also, Savita's kids call her aai, while Sakshi's kids call her mumma. Seemed strange.

They need to determine which language combo they want to run, and have it consistent across characters.

I think they want to give a semi-Marathi feel to it - not very regional because they want it to appeal to everyone. So they're going to be very touch and go about the Marathi aspect - just enough to have everyone remember that it's a Marathi family. I think that's what they said in the launch.. 😆

Okay, but are all the hubbies Marathis? Including the Gwalior based Jagirdars? I've lived in Pune in the past, even though I'm not Marathi - never came across the name Jagirdar.

I think only the sisters are Marathi - they might have married non-Marathis too. Maybe in the interest of maintaining a semi-Marathi environment to appeal to everyone? 🤔
