The father's name was Sadanand Savratkar, so the sisters and the father were all S. Savratkar.. LOL! I can see that the author is obsessed with the letter "S".

And I don't know why I keep feeling that Rohit and his family are just exploiting this bad situation and trying to get the house now that the father's dead. I don't think they initially had any motive to kill him or the stomach to do so. I just don't see them as killers. Leeches maybe, parasites most definitely but not killers.

From the responses above, looks like people think Yuvi's dad is behind the murder of Sandhya's dad, and his agents are behind the murder of Maruti.

Probably on the condition that she has to change back into her pink saree.. 🤣 Even in the precap, the lady's wearing a darker shade of pink/red. Kya yaar! There are many other colors in the world - the fashion industry is brimming with choices!

SEE, I KNEW k Sandhya's in-laws are fishy people! First the blatant lie about someone being in the store room and then the whole "We called Neeraj over for a reason" nonsense.. And even more than all this, what bothered me was that none of them were bothered by the fact that one of their own was tied and gagged in the storeroom. Hadh hai yaar!

*sigh* Yuvraj's making me so suspicious. My mom always said, too much of something means something's off. And well this guys is trying too hard to be "nice"/"happy". Something is SO not sitting right with me about him!

How about this compromise - drop the pizza, but don't force the kids to have lauki juice or whatever 🤢 Or if they must have vegetable juices, mix it w/ fruit juices to alter the tastes - like mango-tomato, or orange-carrot, or so on. And Jayesh, when you do those things, you throw the box outside, or take the trash outdoors - you don't leave it in for the Mrs to find out!!! 🤢

I really look forward to kids from Shreya & Sandhya. Don't want any for Shradhya, though, until she's replaced Rohit

I want to see more of Mohreya. Also, I would like to see Savita & Sakshi's kids together interacting, and Sakshi's kids being bribed into getting things for Savita's. It will have to be w/ something other than cash, though, since Jayesh is so much in debt. Incidentally, are Sakshi's kids twins - I thought she had 2 separate kids, but in last night's episode, they showed 2 identical kids kneeling down outside the classroom.

Really? They said Shyamrao? Alright then Shyamrao it is! And gosh, you and me both! We've seen Savita, Sakshi, Shradha and Sandhya - but I want to see more of Shreya too. She lives in a joint family and from the launch video, it seems they're the happy/light aspect of the show. Well I'd love for it to make it's appearance now! 😆

And nahi yaar! Both of Sakshi's kids were kneeling outside the classroom. The "Cheater Kahin Ki!" kid and the other one too (Yash and Aryan, I think). But they weren't identical though.. LOL! Although I did love how they looked at each other in sync each time. Like they were doing it on que, which they probably were! 🤣

Okay so it's almost 4 a.m. here and I just saw the episode.. I know, it's quite late. But I liked today's episode - I missed all the other sisters though! I hope this doesn't turn into a Jagirdar family show with the other sisters in as fillers! I'd really hate that.

And is it just me or is anyone else bothered by how everyone keeps expecting Neeraj to take care of Sandhya instead of Yuvraj? I mean when Sandhya, Neeraj and Yuvraj walked in, Sandhya asked both of them what the matter was but only Neeraj validated her question with a reply! And then Yuvraj's father tells NEERAJ to take Sandhya to her room?! Umm.. Did he not see his own son and Sandhya's husband standing to her left?! Why should Neeraj have to do this! He is NOT her husband!! This irks me a lot! I can't help but think they have some nasty business planned where Neeraj would be required to get comfortable with Sandhya and so they're trying to get the two together as much as possible - which is beyond a little cheap and gross!

Waise, I quite like Neeraj/Sandhya conversations - they are both like "friends". Not close friends, but not formal acquaintances either. I like where this is headed. A platonic relationship (from Sandhya's side) would be fun to watch!

Oh and I quite loved Suni Chachi/Sandhya conversation! I really did.. It was "warm" to me.. I really like Suni Chachi and how she interacts with Sandhya.

And you're right, I did like the initial mandir scene where Yuvraj was so considerate of Sandhya's movements - how he helped her touch the bell and everything - it was sweet! But I don't want her gaining her eyesight! For once I'd like a show that is the same as it's synopsis 2 years into the show! I mean Sandhya's supposed to be BLIND! Leave her so! Just because she's blind doesn't mean she needs to be "fixed". Why can't her blindness be part of character like her ability to walk, her voice or eye color? Why does it need to be repaired in some way! I do not like this possibility of her eye sight coming back - I don't like the message it will be sending out!

Yeah, people can live complete lives despite various handicaps, but that doesn't mean that if the handicap in question can be cured, it shouldn't. While there is a romantic aspect about Sandhya always having either Yuvraj or Neeraj to support her, regaining her eyesight would mean that she would be capable of doing things on her own, instead of groping in the dark and bumping into things. She can still lean on their shoulders, but just for their happiness, not b'cos she needs to.

@bold: Yaar, I understand that if a handicap is curable it should very well be. But my question here is with the story line and the CVs - a week into the show and they've already started playing around with the character sketches! Sandhya's supposed to be a blind girl - at the beginning of the show we didn't know why she was blind, just that she was. That was the character sketch. In every interview made by Sriti Jha she mentioned that she was playing a blind character. Sandhya isn't a married girl who happens to be blind - according to the character she's a blind girl who's getting married and who's learned to live with her handicap in quite a fulfilling way.

Toh why the sudden need to drop hints about her eye sight coming back? I'm apprehensive of this track, because once they start this "character detour" it's no saying where they'll stop. The next thing you know, they're showing some mundane track from a been-there-done-that show and I'm left wondering why I even watched this show when it was going to show me things I've seen 20 times before. I like the different concept and the unique handling of this show - I don't want the CVs to mess with that.

Why can't they show an INDEPENDENT blind girl!?! I swear, such people do exist! Why does she need to gain her sight to be independent - she doesn't have to rely on everyone right now either! Blind people are supposed to have sharper sense - yet apart from her "I know you Suni Chachi" sensing ability in the party, we have yet to see the other. They can memorize the lay of the house in just one-two walk through. So why is Sandhya still being shown to need "help" while she goes about her business. She's a blind person - but she can still be independent! They don't need to show her being smothered her with help and care just because she's blind and they don't need to drop hints of her eye sight coming back. They have a unique character here - for once I'd appreciate it if they made lemonade out of the proverbial lemons (not that these are lemons - in my opinion this is a pretty promising character should they work with it sensibly) here and not go around on with a Fairy God Mother syndrome, fixing everything!

Episode 9

Sandhya is again back to normal after convincing herself that she was wrong in Sunita's matter. There is also some mystery around Jayesh as he is shown visiting a woman in a slum. At home, abnormal things keep happening around Sandhya. Sunita steals five lakh rupees from the house and gives it to some poor old couple. Her husband, DK, sees her when she gives the money. There seems to be a huge mystery around Sunita, it seems like she is related to this old couple in some way.

Jayesh visiting a woman in a slum? I know he has debt problems, but how would any woman in any slum be of any use to him? Or, despite is problems, is he in a compromised position where he has to talk a slum woman into or out of doing something?

I used to think that as the hubby of the eldest of the sisters, Jayesh would be a sorta rallying point if ever the sisters were in trouble. But he looks knee deep himself.
