Brief update:

All disperse after Chirag tries to calm everyone down. Urv thinks though the shadi got cancelled let me celebrate SR at least. Plan flopped by Rajjo. She looks at Arjun for help without success.

After a non violent fight with Rajjo, Arjun goes to sleep in balcony. Seeing his sleep disturbed due to cold and mosquito, Rajjo takes care of the problem with a blanket, pillows and mosquito coil.

Next morning Madhu questions him about sleeping in the balcony. He says he had a good sleep and surprisingly do not have stff neck. They look for Rajjo, but can't find her as she has gone to hospital.

Dr. tells Rajjo Mano has slipped to coma and they would have to arrange more money for her to continue in hospital. Rajjo vows to find means to arrange for hospital expense.

Arjun gets a call from his friends about visiting him. Everyone gets worried about how to handle the situation. Urv puts for the suggestion that she will help them out by posing as Arjun's wife in front of his friends.

Musings:

In today's episode Rajjo had an upper hand over Arjun and his family. But for that to change, as per precap making Rajjo the naukarani, she must have asked Arjun for money or job for her mom's sake. Sad! I liked Rajjo having upper hand. Now the show will take up the fav ITV plot of FL torture and humiliation. 👎🏼

I thought Banni show was having good TRP from the start. May be it dipped and hence hit with slot change. From the clips I used to see it had a strong FL and diff plot even if it had the usual saas plotting and family politics.

Does this mean the viewers do not accept anything of change other than the regular regressive joint family drama where torturing and humiliating bahus being the main entertainment? Going by the storyline of top shows it seems to be so. Bigamy, spineless heroes and regressive minded matriarch. Also good characters become incapable of intelligence and are ruined senselessly!

I guess the most of younger gen has stopped watching shows on TV and prefer to watch shows online, if they watch ITV.

I guess Arjun's friend may understand to rajjo, Arjun 's wiffy..Because Dey always say u don't have pretty face nd all..both r coming in front of Arjun 's frd so maybe rajjo was simple that's y Dey can understand that rajjo is his wife Because in foreign people likes simplicity not much over jewellery nd all...

Because Dey made urvashi aunty..

But if Dey will show this it would be a great fun to watch🤣

I think Arjun's friends may pass comment on the naukarani being beautiful. If one of them tries to flirt with Rajjo, what would be Arjun's reaction?

I heard that the show experienced a drop cuz of an unexpected not so great love angle.

I think viewers do like change but the trp channels are not really ready for it. I'm skeptical of these trp points too but that's a topic for another day. What I fail to understand is why can't trp channels not let go the 2000 EK concept? It's been so many years and still everything revolves around marriage and being a good bahu. And the non trp channels has got some good shows but they're not popular enough. They should really go back, before the 2000s era. Not so dramatic finite shows are the key.
