I believe Rahul perineally has that stupid look on his face and Harpreet's gives a uniform "plastic expression", so its hard to fathom whether she was smiling/mocking at Mri.

Anyway, what I felt was that, its highly insulting to ignore someone when he/she is talking. When Mri was talking, Rahul was busy nain matkaoing with Harpreet. Perhaps, that was the moment of realization for Mri when she thought that this guy is not the one for her. I would have totally hated it, if someone did that to me! I dont think anyone deserves to live with a spouse who cannot understand them. It would not have been fair for Mri and it wouldnt be fair for Rahul.
