Your perspective makes a lot of sense! Especially about the gobar part. If it's a task, then all the girls should have willingly done it. If Nikunj is willing to bare all and walk down a ramp and dance for Rahul, then what's wrong with touching gobar? People have to deal with these types of situations all the time in the village - it's not a big deal. She should have done it willingly. And what's worse is that she said she's going to "back out" just because they made her touch gobar?! I mean, what's the big deal? She won't back out when the show forces her to display herself like a cheap woman walking down ramps and dancing for some guy, but she'll back out for something as simple as touching gobar for two seconds?! It's not such a difficult task. This is what the world has come to... girls willing to act cheap over willing to try something new and see the world through the eyes of those less-fortunate than themselves.ok i some what agree with u guys that its not important. But think about it. Rahul is a celebrity. He attends parties also throws parties. His wife and him I m sure would dance to a number in a party.
Now the Gobar part...not important...but say a times comes where all odds are against him and he somehow goes broke..and he has a live a life like ppl in village do. Will his better half be supportive and do whats needed???So thats my views on it..

They shouldn't be making big deal about touching the gobar. If he goes broke, his better half (if nikunj) is very well qualified and can support him. Nikunj sounded very arrogant and inflexible though. She could've handled the situation gracefully.
It's not about "worth" - it was a task. Like all the tasks they've had to do in the past such as: walk down a ramp, play games with kids, play games with Gautami, dance, etc. It's not about "oh I need to show my worth to Rahul". It's just - everyone's touching gobar, not a big deal. Just do it.Originally posted by: justaviewer

If i were her (which I know i personally would never participate in a show like that), I would myself not touch Gobar just cuz a bunch of cameramen are shooting us and the groom wants me to touch gobar to prove my worth to him!

I agree with you on that... but what erks me is that she made such a big deal about touching the gobar that she had to say she wanted to "back out" - that was just really weird. She feels so strongly against touching gobar that she doesn't want to get married?! LOL!Originally posted by: Xserial_queenX

Just because everyone is doing something, it doesnt mean you have to =P lol it's whatever though because she ended up doing it. So she shouldntve complained to begin with
