I do agree with some of you but I have the following to say:-
1.Dont know if one can say Elesh is truly honest or forthcoming about his past. To my knowledge it was only after Rakhi asked him did he casually i repeat casually tell her he had 7 gfs and then coolly say they were all serious relationships. I dont remember any dramatic editing effects such as camera focusing immediately on Rakhi's face [if I remember she didnt seem bothered when he said it] nor was any special music or sound effect used when he said it. all in all the producers of the serial chose not to make it a big issue unlike in regard to earlier contestants whenever someone had some controversial stuff in regard to him they used special music, sound effects, camera etc etc to achieve dramatic effect. also whenever some contestant revealed the presence of a woman in his life he was usually reject. First was that guy who told he had an ex russian girlfriend and spoke to rakhi on her date and in mann ki baat section of that day she told ram how upset she was with him in regard to it of him devoting most of the date time about her and not concentrating on her. That guy was also asked to have rakhi's name tatooed on him which raKHI said not to. he was rejected that day. Next was that policeman parvez who said he was already married and had 3 kids and was still prepared to marry. Later luv was rejected. although reason given was he chose to eat the garva chaud prasad from rakhi's hand than his mother fact remains in one of his earlier episode he said he had an ex named sheetal and even gave her bible to rakhi on the date. then it was manmohan's turn when he was confronted by ravi kishan about anjali whom he had hidden and he almost got rejected that day and but somehow he escaped elimination that day. i found it strange that elesh been a gentleman type chose never to tell rakhi earlier on during the show about his past life of having 7 serious relationships. if he was really honest shouldnt he have told her much earlier on than wait for her to ask and when done so answered in a cool casual manner without showing any sense of remorse or guilt or shame on his face? he chose to reveal it only when he came to top 4 list and only after raKHI asked him about it.
Real men dont wait for women to ask about their past and instead chose to tell her voluntarily as early as possible. Elesh never did this. know why he didnt do it? it was because he would have got rejected. thats why!he is damn smart to tell u truth. he knows how to charm his way with women [7gf experience hai iske pass] so he knows what works to win over women.
2.one of u said rakhi is known in canada to my saying she is really unknown. what i meant to say was rakhi is not tthat well known in canada as compared to india. over here she cant go to local market without being mobbed by ppl and also here lots of mawaali lafanga guys r there who think of her as sex symbol n will try to touch her [had she got marrriued to manmohan she wouldnt have any privacy at rishikesh as she is too well known and her stigma of being an item girl will stick with her all life in india] compared to that in canada she can lead a normal life and go out without ppl; recoginisng her as compared to india. i was merely poiting out privaCY issues for rakhi than about fame.
3.contrary to popular belief rakhi is not that filthy rich as some of u think. yes she has a few crores to her name but to maintain her lifestyle thats not enough. per month she spends probably over a lakh rupees on things like beauty parlour, rent for her expensive flat, fitness, clothings, food bills. none of these come for free. morever she has no big acting career. some films she did item girl, vamp role. also she did reality shows such as big boss and also that dance show with kids from orphanage [with whome she wore skimy dress and did dance]. if she has some real claim to fame it has to be her swayamvar show! and she knows she doenst have long innings here compared to other heroines. soon she will be jobless and she needs hubby who is malamaal and liberal minded and doesnt ask much questions. she might be infatuated by guys like manmohan or luv but wo ullu ki patti nahi hai. she will ultimately chose man who give her financial security and freedom which from last 3 dulhas its possible only with elesh
4.on face value elesh's words seem honest but one never knows. these days guys tend to convincigly lie and there are girls who fall for their words, get used by him and later dumped by him. and i ask again whats gurantee he still not having contact with ex gfs or is not having any right now? has rakhi or ndtv imagine done background check on this guy? and it was strange his mother didnt come to see them. first they said sister marriage. then they said visa problem but later it was revealed they didnt want to travel all the way because very tiring. arre inke bete ke shaadi ka sawaal hai and if parents are serious about it shouldnt they have come? kshitij mom who is a patient came but bnnot elesh mommy who seemed healthy.
