Yamuna and Shani are half siblings. Yamuna is daughter of Surya and Sangya. Shani is son of Surya and Chaaya. Is not that mentioned in MB?

I think they chose Shani as villain instead of Yam because Yam is rarerly portrayed as villain but there is a tradition of portraying Shanidev as villain since ages.

I have similar doubts.😆 Isn't it weird,how they concisely put those numbers 🤪 something a perfectionist or a person with OCD would do. I mean...aise kaise sirf putra hin Paida hote the ??? They were not that advanced or you know misogynist to commit female foeticide or may be i am wrong !? I believe they intentionally manipulated(converted females to males)or hid the numbers of female offsprings of many Historical characters.🤔

@Red. I agree. Look at the number of male/female twins. I believe most of this was an attempt by later writers to *fix* the text to make the person male.

I totally echo your sentiments my gal. 😆 Nothing against Mallika but i never really connected with her as RADHA !! 😔 Something about her acting seems off. To be honest she lacks the serenity needed to portray Radha's character. She looks fiery & fiesty. If you look at Jalak,she did justice to Rukmini's role whenever they gave her subdued thoughtful scenes,she looked the part,she looked like the dotting wife who is madly in love with her husband. Radha is almost if not absolutely similar to Rukmini in personality but this Radha seems different,her personality here is a borderline mixture of Rukmini and Satyabhama or may be it's the butchering these morons did,that failed to make an impact. Radha is supposed to look divine. I am sorry to say,this Radha is anything but divine,she looks and acts like the girl next door. Her actions look too humane to be extraterrestrial and her presence looks forced most of the time. For me the only Radha in this show is the Radha of 1st episode (Shivya's portrayal) .❤️ Boy was she good ! What a sorry decline it's been since then. 💔

I believe that they only mentioned those characters that were significant to the story. Now these were political stories . Only those women who themselves were active in politics or whose marriage was politically significant or whose descendants were politically significant are mentioned.
