Here is a short video of Basant chatting while getting his hair done for Balram, posted on YouTube on 7 March 2021 by RK makeup artist Raaj Goswami (duration 2 minutes 40 seconds).

Basant has posted his first vlog on YouTube, on Thursday 1 April 2021. ⭐️ It is a day-in-the-life video of Basant hanging out last Sunday (28 March) with Devesh Sharma, who plays Balram's son Ulmuk in RadhaKrishna.

The video is 12 minutes 24 seconds in duration, and is very nice and funny! 👍🏼

The opening sequence is particularly hilarious! 🤣

the video duration shrank to 11.44 mins next day, i wonder how that happened

Balram has again donned a female disguise in RK, as part of the show's ongoing Shankchood and Tulsi storyline that involves Radha and Krishna living in Shankchood and Tulsi's palace. 🤣

Although dressed in Baldevi's original blue-and-red costume but with some different jewellery, Balram's female disguise character is this time known by the name Ananga-Manjari rather than Baldevi. She made her first appearance in RK episode 653, aired on 7 April 2021.

Devi Ananga-Manjari is described in the literature as the expansion of Shri Balram in madhurya rasa/madhurya bhava bhakti form, i.e. the form of devotion in which the devotee regards the Lord as their lover, such as the devotion of Radharani and the ashtsakhis and gopis for Shri Krishna. Ananga-Manjari is said to be the daughter of Vrishbhan and Kirtida, and the younger sister of Radharani. This is clearly not the case in the RK show, but it's nice that they are actually using a significant name from the literature for Balram's female disguise this time. 👍🏼

RK makeup artist Raaj Goswami has posted two videos on his YouTube channel recently (7 and 8 April 2021) that show Basant getting ready to play Ananga-Manjari.

The first video (6 minutes 21 seconds) shows Basant and Raaj chatting a bit while Raaj does the base of Basant's makeup.

The second video (2 minutes 39 seconds) shows a time-lapse as Basant's eye makeup is done, and then a reveal of his final look in full costume.

In this video (duration 6 minutes 18 seconds), he gives some ideas for exercising and staying healthy without needing to go to a gym. This type of information is always relevant, but is particularly helpful during these pandemic times! 👍🏼 It’s great that Basant is promoting health and fitness like this, 👏 and there are also some very amusing moments in the video. 🤣

Kartikey Malviya, who plays Saamba in RK, has uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel this evening (Thursday 27 May 2021), in which he interviewed Basant.

"Cool Talks With Basant Bhatt" (duration 11 minutes 8 seconds) is a very nicely put-together video featuring some cute humour, a great interview, and a nice little snippet of Kartikey and Basant's friendship. Basant gave some very interesting, well-thought, well-spoken, and insightful answers to Kartikey's questions, and he brilliantly threw in some very relevant chemistry and biology while he was at it! 👏 👍🏼 ⭐️ 😆
It’s great to see more of Basant’s intelligence and awesome sense of humour on display here, 😊 and Kartikey has done a great job in putting this video together.
