i so concur with what you said Lata. And those two shows (Zindagi Gulzar hai) and (Humsafar) are a class in itself and I watch it again now and then. Such depth of emotions and layers in characterization as per situations and very much relatable. Sad that Indian shows are not able to think of such shows and telecast it!! The whole industry is just after trp and they will do what ever possible to garner that ... not leaving mytho too and I will be bold and brave today to say that we audience are largely at fault to accept their crap from Day 1 :) :)

Exactly we are only responsible for this mess...EK and her clan are out to mint money...they can give us the best stories and shows if they want to but choose to show us this trash...sad really.

Kalia Mardana.I can't believe that they have shown that no one except Radha remembers it. Krishna just vanished the memory of Kalia mardana from all the people!!----this was the point I started disliking this serial.

And there were many people who had flaws in those two villages, then why Krishna only liberated Radha from flaws. This is partiality!!

All the Asuras were harming all the villagers but Krishna did something only when Radha was in danger. This is too much partiality. When Vrishbhan was taken away by Aghasura, he did not do anything!

Also, adharma was done when the serial showed 10 days of Mela which was organized to earn money to repay those saahukars. No problem but saahukars[ money lenders] were the wise men. They helped Radha when she needed to pay loan to Kansa. But ultimately what happened?? They got killed in the hands of Kansa. Really? Is this not adharma?? What did Krishna do? Nothing. This is the biggest problem. It is not easy to make a story which is not violating dharma.

Ayan and jatila.. the most dreaded humans to harass Radha in this serial, and literally Ayan brought all the trouble to Barsana. He made Vrishbhan fell from a height. he even tried to kill the villagers by poisoning the food grains.. You know even after all this and after all what he did.. If he got Radha then this would be the worst show in mythological serials!! I am sorry to say this!

They have wrongly presented the character of Krishna, Balarama and also lord Shiva. I thought Shiva was Adi yogi. His personality was not making jokes. But here he is shown as making jokes!

The story of Radhakrishna was simple. Krishna loved Radha.. But at the age of eleven, Kansa called Krishna and Balrama to Mathura, so he needs to left. And he did not come back. So Radha and Ayan got married.. and later Ayan started spending time in front of the statue of Maa Kali! Simple. No extra role of Ayan! Why they made him the hero of this serial and at times even made Krishna a side character in their obsessive love for Ayan!!

I am not against any actor who plays the roles..Sumedh, Basant, Mallika are fabulous. But I am saying against the storyline and characterization of the main characters!! Dealing with such a well established and the well-known story is not easy for any creative team, but making it such a mockery of a great Mythological story ... it is difficult to accept by any normal viewer. As Minakshi earlier said, if we start believing that -- these are only fictional characters, not the Divine lovers, then we will be at peace!

Thank you Viswasruti for sharing your pain here that is what hurts us all of us here too....I wonder who has given them the liberty to make such jokes on Shree Krishna and Shiva Bhagwan and the others...why make a show in that name if they just wanted to show a love story..just to garner trps...and here I thought the maker is one smart sensible person to make such shows and all we get is a soap opera.

There was an interesting element of mystery in the story. Not only Purans but other scriptures's subjects were added too eg. Kundalini, Chakras etc. It appealed to both class & mass. Only towards the end it got boring when they started direct preaching.

Lets hope some day they'll improve standard of Mytho shows & some one would actually represent a unique version, sticking to the popular stories without distorting image of representatives of our faith.

Yes let us hope so...once again thanks Meenaxi for helping us express our views here..rarely will a mod in IF in a forum where she herself is the mod express her views the way you did but so proud of you that you spoke the truth. Hope we get some show and a forum where we all can discuss sensibly without fearing that others will be hurt about the actors playing it.....can understand when it comes to children and teenagers but as adults it is common sense for one to understand that characters of a show and the show they are acting in are totally different...it is absolutely fine to love the actors for what they are doing but to connect them with the show character and then pounce on those who have an opinion otherwise is silly.

Agree with your views regarding the fan wars and developing a strong connection towards those characters.

I have seen it in the Balika Vadhu forum and in a few forums where I was posted a few of my opinions, and after watching the invasions and deluge of abuses, scared and silently slipped aside to buy peace for myself!!! But in a few forums, there are very good writers who are efficiently writing OS, FF with good analytical skills and writing capabilities. Expected so much from this serial when I read that the creative team did enough research before starting the shooting. Surprisingly the writers messed up the story [ though sounds harsh but it is my true opinion...] But reiterating my view regarding the sets and the highly talented and aptly suited actors as Radha and Krishna. Respect your opinions.

I have decided to surrender in front of the logical thinking of the creatives once--- they made Radha ' The Goddess of Love' as Rishi Shounaka[ who sat obediently at Naimisharanya in front of Sootha Mahamuni to listen to Mahabharatha!!] to listen to Vishnu Avtaar stories from Kid Krishna!!! Now it's an educational serial for us!! Krishna subconsciously gives Radha such gyaan who finally will realise one day that the real meaning of 'Prem' and Krishna's life goal of teaching love to her will be fulfilled!! Searching hard for Love since the beginning of the serial! Why Balram is roaming here and there listlessly for a long time, I can't imagine!! In actuality, he was a serious person who never tolerated any sort of nonsense from anyone including Krishna. In Mahabharat and in Bhagavath he reprimanded even Krishna in many occasions! They made him a comic character here!

Agree with you, they brought all the villans of Dwapar yug in front of our eyes to move this serial further and farther!! 😊

Recently Krishna talked about how punyavan Ugrapad is (biggest punya probably blackmailing Vrishban into marrying Radha to Ayan after knowing that Ayan was a murderer) and how Ayan is still redeemable.

Meri bas is Krishna se ek hi prashn hai------Bechare Sishupal ki kya galti thi ? sirf 100 paap hi toh kiya tha bachhe ne. Way less than Ayan. Us gareeb ko kyun maare yaar ?

Yesterday while watching the serial I was shocked!😲 This Ayan is quite at ease deceiving the Ashtavakra Muni! If the Muni has a power to curse, can't he able to see the wrong intentions of this Ayan? Where they are taking this serial? What will be their logical conclusions??? Beyond my perception!
